Great Quality & Easy to Work With

They contacted me right away to let me know the image I sent them wouldn't work for transferring to shirts. I really appreciate them doing that instead of just printing the shirts. They are also easy to work with!

Disappointment.

I submitted a custom shirt order through Custom One’s website using their design tool and provided the layout as requested. After placing the order, I was contacted multiple times asking for additional clarification about sizing and placement.Despite responding quickly and providing detailed measurements for the design, the process became unnecessarily back-and-forth. Ultimately, they cancelled the order stating they “did not fully understand the requirements” and would not be able to meet my expectations.They said a full refund was issued and should appear within 1–2 business days. While I appreciate that step, the overall experience was disappointing. I expected a smoother process from a company that specializes in custom printing, especially after submitting the design through their system initially.

Excellent customer service

You guys are wonderful to work with! Great experience, prompt and accurate printing and shipping, top-notch customer service. My first order was great and I needed to reorder. Contacted customer service who took me through step by step, making sure all was accurate. You put up with multiple questions, always answering quickly and helpfully. My order was kindly shipped to 2 addresses and all were pleased with their shirts!Highly recommend!!!

The best!

The site is easy to use. In quickly designed 4 different custom shirts in minutes. Customer service was helpful and quickly responsive when I wanted to increase the shirt quantity. The shirts arrived in a couple days and were exactly as expected.

The photos of my grandson turned out perfectly on the tee-shirts. Making a tee-shirt quilt for his high school graduation coming up in June. The order turn-around time was very quick and the quality of the photo transfer was very well done!

Kid Sized Personalized Hoodie

This hoodie was for my grandson for his birthday. He was so excited when he saw it. Not only was what he wanted on it was, but he had to show me how soft it was inside. Using the size chart, it was just a touch big and I actually did that on purpose. All in all, it was a great experience for my first purchase.

Disappointing experience – They only cared once it became public.

UPDATE [FEB 05, 2026] I am updating my review following a "resolution" from senior management regarding my order.While the company eventually agreed to a partial refund for 4 of the 6 shirts, the process to get there was exhausting. In public comments, the company appears helpful; however, my private experience involved being met with rigid ultimatums. It is important to note that I was only contacted for a resolution after I posted my initial review here. It shouldn't take a public post for a company to listen to a customer's legitimate concerns.Even the refund process itself was a struggle. They initially only refunded 2 of the 4 agreed-upon shirts, and I had to reach out yet again to point out the error and inquire about the missing balance before it was corrected. Despite the eventual refund, I am not satisfied. Getting to this resolution was incredibly hard work and required more effort than any customer should have to expend.Management maintained a "no fault" stance, hiding behind technicalities even after I provided photos of the issues. They even attempted to have my previous honest review flagged as defamatory, which was fortunately denied by Trustpilot.I have accepted the partial refund simply to move on, though a refund for the physical items does not account for the significant emotional stress, time, and frustration caused by their dismissive approach. While they framed the refund as a "goodwill gesture," it feels more like an attempt to silence a dissatisfied customer. I would still not recommend them to anyone. This was a trial for a larger organization, and due to the lack of accountability and the gaslighting I experienced, it will be our first and last order.UPDATE [Jan 23, 2026]: I appreciate the response. However, there is nothing left to 'assess.' I provided documentation on Day 11 and Day 14 showing the order had major fit issues. Because these are custom items produced to the wrong sizing parameters, they are not fit for their intended purpose. I am not interested in more reviews; I am interested in a 100% refund for the total order to my original payment method. If Management is truly looking to improve, the resolution is to honor your 15-day policy for a faulty product.UPDATE [Jan 18, 2026]: Jill (Production Lead) replied here claiming a 15-day return window. Regarding Order #30212: I received the items Dec 29, reached out Jan 9 (day 11), and sent photos Jan 12 (day 14).Despite being within the 15-day window Jill just cited, Custom One spent a 9-email thread telling me I was "outside the window" to justify a 30% restocking fee. In my final email, I explicitly stated: "I will also be sharing this experience in detail on social media and with other dance directors to warn them about your 'service' and these defective fits." Instead of responding to find a solution, they chose to remain silent and later attempted to have this review removed by flagging it as "defamatory." Trustpilot assessed the content and determined that it was not defamatory.While I appreciate the public offer to "understand the circumstances," those circumstances were clearly documented in the thread that went ignored. It is disappointing to see a company claim "transparency" publicly while being deceptive privately. I will not be "reaching out" to be ghosted again. If Custom One wants a "reasonable resolution," the only acceptable path at this point is a full 100% refund to the original payment method for the defective items. You have the order records and the proof of my timely contact with photos in your inbox. ORIGINAL REVIEW:I had a significant issue with the sizing of my order from Custom One, which didn't match the descriptions provided. When I reached out for help, the company completely ignored the product discrepancy and instead offered me a 30% off coupon for a 'new' order. It was incredibly dismissive to be asked for more money when the original issue hadn't been addressed.This led into a frustrating return process where, despite the sizing error being on their end, I was hit with a 30% restocking fee. I reached out one last time to find a fair middle ground, but they refused to meet me halfway and ghosted me immediately following my request for a compromise. Essentially, once you buy something from Custom One, you are stuck with it—regardless of whether the product is substandard or incorrectly described. They chose to end all communication rather than provide a fair resolution. Save yourself the headache and the restocking fees—shop elsewhere.
