SCAM PLEASE AVOID
Where to start, we booked on booking.com the Luton stay that this “company” “manages”, little did we know that this guy was a scam artist, he had two other listings one more on booking.com and another one on Airbnb.com both with different prices (for the same house), after finding out through some research that this guy charges a deposit (which is not disclosed when booking the property) we said fine makes sense that a deposit is applied for such a big property, but we later found out that he scams people and keeps the deposit by FORCE. We immediately contacted booking.com and when we did the guy tells us we had to pay a different price for the stay, additionally he wanted a bank transfer deposit, we obviously did not accept and thanks to booking.com got our money back. At the end he even said he would give us the house at the price originally advertised on the listing but we wanted NOTHING to do with him or his “Company”.Please AVOID any of his listings unless you want to be SCAMMED.What an absolute JOKE.

He tried to scam us!I booked a property for New Year’s Eve through Booking.com for £422, which was paid in full by credit card. After the booking was confirmed, the host contacted me demanding a higher total price of £1,000 and a £500 security deposit.The original listing stated a £200 deposit, not £500, and there was no mention of any price increase. The host also asked for these additional payments to be made directly to him, rather than through Booking.com.After reading reviews from other guests mentioning that deposits were not returned, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding and requested a penalty-free cancellation due to these breaches.This experience caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I would advise others to be very cautious and ensure all terms are honoured exactly as listed before proceeding.

Matthew is a gangster do not trust him
Matthew's company manages a property in luton. we contacted matthew on airbnb and he told us to contact him directly on whats app and he would give us a better deal. We paid for the house rental and 200 pound deposit. when we arrived at the house we found two of the bedrooms to be 'lived in' the beds were unkempt ie someone was sleeping there, dirty bed sheets and towels. the house was also filthy dirty surfaces had an inch of dirt. there was also no toilet paper at the property. I have been rented accomodation from airbnb for many years and never had a complaint as a guest or for a host. I have always been a very conscientious guest. checkout for the accom was 10 am (which is very early ) so we asked host for 'late' checkout of 11 which he agreed to. The next day when we checked out and left property matthew kept our deposit as we checkout late at 11:20 and he allegedly had a complaint about noise. he knew we would have no recourse as we booked directly with him and not through a platform. do not stay in any of his properties matthew is a scam artist !!!

It's a scam.The so called Host "Matthew Brown" or "Mr.Oaken" is a scammer. He kept the deposit of £1500 after a 6 months rental for no reason and tries to get away with it. No response from anybody, brother and mother are also involved.Stay away from this company !

Excellent Family Experience ...
On behalf of my wife and three teenage children, we would like to extend a huge thank you for providing us with excellent accommodation during our two weeks stay at Manton Drive, Luton.The house was very well presented, and had everything we needed to facilitate a restful and enjoyable stay.On a few occasions, we were able to enjoy the garden and the comfortable outdoor furniture enhanced the experience.Your quick responses to our queries was much appreciated and helped us to maximise our time there.You provided the essentials for our stay; kitchen equipment, bathroom accessories, bedroom furniture, and broadband facilities were all used and provided further comfort.The location was excellent for us, the neighbours on both sides were friendly; this was great value add.In summary, thank you again for accepting us into your home and paying attention to our needs. This was our first experience of using AirBnB.

Stayed at the keep homes beautiful cottage in Wales and would definitely recommend to anyone willing so stay in a warm and cosy cottage with beautiful views. Can't wait to book again, my family loved it. The host was helpful with all my questions about the area etc. Thank you!!
