I had a very frustrating experience with Brookwood Recruitment. They are incredibly unresponsive—calls go unanswered, and emails are often ignored. I was in the middle of a hiring process, and despite multiple attempts to follow up, I received no updates or feedback from them. The lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. If you’re looking for a recruitment agency that will keep you informed and engaged throughout the process, I would not recommend Brookwood. Extremely disappointing

Inconsiderate time wasters AVOID

A woman named Kalvir messaged me requesting to speak over a role. Arranged a call for the following morning at a time I chose, no call. Then she messaged me to say she's free all day?? I give a new time I was available..then all of a sudden the role is closed and a shortlist created lolWithout speaking? I see this isn't the first time, avoid them they're a time wasting joke

Unprofessional recruiter - AVOID

Was contacted by a recruiter for a freelance opportunity, she scheduled a meeting with for 9:00 AM UK time and missed the meeting, without prior notice.Had to cancel other meetings planned with my team, to make room in my busy calendar. I followed up with her at 9:05 AM, if we're still on today, and she replied at 10:30 AM that she's sorry she missed the meeting, but the role is no longer available.

All contact suddenly ceased. Phone numbers don't work.

Gary offered my partner a contract with a big name company. She arranged to form a company, set-up a business bank account, filled in myriad forms with personal information, arranged to relocate back to the UK for the start date (despite being 'remote' they apparently required her to be in the UK - no problem). She was just about to hand in her notice and then all contact from Gary ceased. His mobile number doesn't work. His DDI number doesn't work. His 'office number' appears to be an answering service answered by someone with no knowledge of him or the 'company', who promises to take a message and pass it to him. The messages are never answered and the calls are never returned. At best Gary and his purported company is extremely rude and unprofessional for not at least having the courtesy to explain that a job offer has been withdrawn. Leaving us hanging.Or maybe it's an elaborate phishing scam? Maybe there was never a job and the scam is simply to have people enter all of their personal details onto various official looking web forms so that he can steal their identity? I hope not!Either way I would avoid any dealings with Gary or his 'company'. It's been a massive waste of time and it's all very shady.
