I wish i could put up pictures the miniatures were wet and sticky they said they had to cut a bit of the image for the box top and what they did was only did the actual top not the sides so its my image on top and just black every where else. I'm a one person company that's trying to create a TTRPG which means i can't afford mess ups. The only approval they asked about was for the miniatures when they sent the images of them printed never showing anything elsehow do you create something for a possible client but never send images for approval.
Made my first own game and boy was it both fun and easy with BGM, the support was so good and delivery fast. And the quality - top notch! Well I did pay 3x of normal game price so I expected it to be good, but it didn't disappoint, exceeded my expectations even.I would highly recommend BGM if you want to design and make your own game!
Really easy to get a boardgame printed. Great price. Great quality. Very happy with the board
Do not use, you would be better off throwing your money into the sea
Your service and work were excellent and very fast!
I've tried a few other companies for printing TCG-like cards. Boardgamesmaker.com is by far the best i've tried. Used them on several orders this last year.Speed 5/5. (usually processed and printed in 2-3 days after order. Then there is shipping from China that takes the usual time it takes to get things from China, me beeing in europe around 2 weeks)Customer service 5/5.(They've actually reached out themselves when they've seen that different designs might come out wrong and given me a chanse to adjust before the final printing)Card Quality 4/5. (Usually a few minor printing-artifacts, dots and such on every 5th card or so, nothing major though, but worth mentioning).Price 5/5.(Nothing to add. Just good pricing)I would very much recommend them over most other similar services.
This was a terrible experience. It took me FOREVER to upload my cards and designs for my game because they have an old website THAT ZOOMS in on your pictures and there is no way to fix it. I had to resize my things multiple times. Then on top of that, they say your game is a certain price and then have OUTLANDISH PRICES for shipping. But I had already spent so much time on this I just decided to go ahead with it. Then there was a problem with my order. Let’s hope if you order from there is no problems because THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS USELESS. They literally told me to go with another printing shop and that’s what I’ll be doing because it’s been such a headache.
AMAZING!! Not only were they super concerned about my design and its flaws, they guided me to fix them, helped me, and wanted to make sure I had the perfect product. My design had so many flaws that the shipping time became too long, they let me pay the expedited cost and I got it with more than enough time. Received it today, and it was even better than I could ever imagine. I hope I have the need to use them again, our custom made board game, box and cards came out perfect. Trust me, use them, you will be happy!
Amazing service and the final product is incredibly professional. The staff had a good eye for detail and emailed me about areas of concern with my designs (some things are off-centre, my 3d model needed changing).
I bought a board game from them for a special occasion and it looks incredible. The board and cards feel incredibly high quality and are clear and bright. The shipping was on time and the service was great when I needed help tracking a shipment.Would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to create a customer board game.
I have used this site for producing a variety of custom board games for gifts etc. for friends. The production itself is consistently good and the interface (though clunky) works fine. My only complaint is that the pricing is straightforwardly deceptive. The Shipping costs routinely add ~30-40% to your order - regardless of the quantity or size of your order. For example, I just placed an order for a few boards, thinking that the pricing was reasonable, only to see that shipping came out to $73 (for the cheapest option) on a $160 order. Playing around with cart quantities, it looks like the "shipping" cost is just adding on a fixed percentage to your order. So, feel free to use their service, but just expect to be extorted at the end of the process, when you've already invested a ton of time in fine-tuning your design.
Everything was perfect. I ordered a deck of 144 custom cards and a custom game box. Production took 2-3 days, shipping to Greece took another 9-10 days with no import fees (they mention on their site that orders below 130€ won't have fees for Europe). As for quality, I was super impressed. The cards look super professional, with no mistakes or misprints and cut perfectly. The box has a great finish and it's a tight fit so you can be sure your cards won't fly out accidentally. One thing to keep in mind is that everything turned out a little bit darker so turn up the brightness when you're making your artwork and stuff.
WATCH OUT. Hidden import fees!!!What they dont tell you is the products are coming from China. So what seems like a good price isnt. Once you pay and the delivery is sent, you will get a bill when the package gets to customs, and it is NOT cheap. So this is a semi scam. Their price is NOT the final price.
I ordered a deck of 78 cards and the upload utility they provide kept erroring out when attempting to upload a modified file. I would see confirmation that my new file had been uploaded successfully. Yet a week later I would get an email asking me when i would be uploading a new file or if I wanted to go ahead with the one already provided. I would return to their form utility to see that it still had the old file and i had wasted a week. This happened 3 times meaning the job was almost a month later than i wanted it to be and most of the time was waiting unnecessarily. The English of the people I communicated with by tickets was appalling which suggests to me that the print was done in China regardless of the Australian domain I logged the job under. This probably answers everybody's question too about the inflated cost of postage and the wait involved for printed work. After finally getting the finished product I noticed a major error in some of the text. When I notified them of this they responded with "We have help check the previous informations,we are according the last version you provide as what we printed. They are correct."These were demo decks for a crowdfunding campaign with an intended run of 1000+. The amount of drama attached to just printing 1 means we will be looking elsewhere.
Ordered multiple times on the site, all order were as expected and pretty good quality too. Shipping is a bit slow and cost is a bit over the top but it's expected when you ask for specific images to be sent.
this was my second time ordering 40 custom decks of cards (front and back) for my daughter's school. Also a custom card box and a printed trifold manual. Their templates are very detailed and let me be very precise in laying out the materials even though I'm not an experienced designer of printed materials. It turned out that I was not precise enough, though ... I really appreciated how diligent and thorough they were during the pre-production phase, sending me a number of detailed emails pointing out the design errors I had made (stuff out of alignment, places where i needed to add more "bleed" etc). They obviously take care to insure that their customers are happy with the results. After the rigorous pre-production phase, production and delivery were a non-issue - they kept me abreast of the status of my project and after they shipped from China, I received updates as to where my package was until finally it arrived at my door today, four days before I expected it to arrive. Quality of the materials is excellent and I would happily work with them again. As far as I'm concerned, they are pros at what they do in terms of customer service, expectation management, and workmanship.
Really good shipping and quality of cards and products
Great experience with BGM, highly recommended! The quality of the box, the cards, the booklet and the score pad is excellent. It's a bit expensive if you just want to order a single copy (especially if you include shipping costs to Europe), but it really worth it when you see the quality. In addition, the parcel has been delivered one day before the earliest expected date.
My order was left endlessly "processing" in limbo. Even if it ever comes, it took months to receive. They also charge an absurdlyhigh shipping fee that you only find out after you have uploaded your files and are ready to make your purchase. All I bought was 100 dice and a custom board and it was 70 dollars.
