My experience with Street Smart…
My experience with Street Smart Transmission can be summed up simply as wonderful.Their web site is very easy to use.The cost of my transmission was less than the others I found.There was no core charge.No Shipping Charge for delivery or core return.The installed transmission works perfect.I could not be happier with this company.

I have been installing Street Smart…
I have been installing Street Smart transmission for several years and have had very few issues with them and the few times I did they took care of the problem immediately. They get you orders out fast with no issues.

One call does it all
One call does it all. Gave the make and model of my truck, was told the amount for the transmission, paid it. Easy, pezy, lemon squeeze, just that simple. The core pick-up was just as easy.The garage that installed the transmission was very helpful on the installation process.

You need a better system for core return. I spend too much time trying to get someone on the phone for core Pickup.

Street smart Transmission has to be one…
Street smart Transmission has to be one of the best companies In the US. I can not stress just how great they were work with and how fast they got things done. I was always told if it sounded too good to be true, that is usually is, but not with this company. There was no problems at all with the entire process.

This was my 2nd trans purchase from Street Smart. The first lasted a little over 5 years and I thought that it was better than buying used for a little less money and a 1-3 yr, warranty. Street Smart has done a good job through both purchases and they stand behind rteir warranty.

GMC Acadia TEHCM replacement
We had a Transmission problem with my Daughters Acadia. Street Smart was prompt in shipping me a replacement TECHM programmed ready to install. The Transmission shifts like new and no more pressure issue. They made returning the Core easy. I would highly recommend them for repair parts for your transmission.

Customer Service Non-Existent and Sales Process is Very Slow
I went back and forth because their pricing was much higher than others I found, also with 5 yr warranties, but I decided to support a local business. Between the price difference and sales tax, it was going to cost me $400 more, but I did expect I would get it much sooner too. I receive an invoice after filling out a form, and paid it. Then a second one for the sales tax (they don't have it set up to automatically add it for FL deliveries), so I had to pay that one separately. A few hours later I get ANOTHER invoice for $200 with no explanation. I then get an email saying it's for delivery....they offer FREE delivery to commercial locations only, which I knew, but usually it's because a liftgate is needed. My mechanic is an LLC and has a shop in his garage and also a rig with a liftgate for mobile. He gets deliveries from companies like this all the time and has never had a client get charged. I then get ANOTHER invoice for $1500, which I later discover was accidently sent to me. They refuse to waive the $200. I could just have them send it to my business and have him pick it up there, but why should I do that? They want to charge $200 to deliver it 23 miles, but it's free to deliver it 38 miles or to ship it out of State. They opted to lose a $3k sale over $200. Didn't even attempt to save the sale. The whole process was clumsy and frustrating. Go with a company that has better customer service and actually invests in a decent website and can set up their invoices properly, so you aren't having to make multiple payments throughout the day. Literally lost an entire day dealing with this. It should have been one invoice, paid, and a confirmation with the delivery date. Simple. They could have even asked if it can go to my business instead, to try to save the sale, but zero effort was made to provide customer service. Think I may have dodged a bullet....can't imagine what the Warranty process would entail.
