Great cabin for a getaway; brought the dog and she did great.
The house was well kept and clean and the hot tub worked great even in 30 degree weather.
We chose Laurel Mountain Restreat as a cabin to stay for our family’s Christmas trip! This was our first time staying there and won’t be our last. It was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of the necessities (soap, detergent pods, towels, makeup wipes, pillows). The hot tub was clean and amazing! It was centrally located to the Biltmore/Asheville. We went snow tubing near Mars Hill and enjoyed 2 whimsical and wonderful restaurants in Weaverville. Both offering a menu of culinary expertise. The cabin was perfect in every way! The hosts were also trustworthy and welcoming!
Lisa was quickly responsive when we were having trouble getting into the house. The home was cozy. Had everything you needed. The coffee and French press were very much appreciated since most people don't travel with coffee. We would stay again.
Excellent, cozy cabin for a romantic getaway. We loved the location close to shops and restaurants and downtown Asheville. I had a remarkable experience and enjoyed the hot tub. One thing I must note: We were very adamant about keeping the cabin as clean as we received it so I was very surprised when Lisa contacted me to admit she rented me a mattress with a urine stain. I would encourage visitors to check the mattress upon arrival and document the state of the bed and other linens. Nevertheless, I still look forward to staying at the Evergreen Cabin again and bringing my kids next time to enjoy the loft.
We had the best stay…the cabin is perfect…would recommend to all.
Perfect Little Getaway just outside Asheville.
Very private and comfortable — more than we needed, as we just slept and showered. Would highly recommend. Note: the shower soap dispenser does not work.
it was perfect weather and secluded area
Place was very nice, clean, and convenient. They knew we were bringing our dogs and provided bowls, towels, and a blanket for them.
Nice location. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. Gas fireplace was nice when the weather got colder. It’s a two story with both bed rooms and the bathroom downstairs. The Wall mounted HVAC is kind of loud and constant downstairs. That being said. We would still return and stay there.
Thoughts on brookside cabin. The design of cabin was not practical. A bath for handicapped was downstairs but no bed for them downstairs except an uncomfortable couch hide-a-bed. The stairs were dangerous for people coming down at night and no bath was upstairs.
We had an amazing time during our stay. Cabin was perfect size for my wife and I (and dog). Super peaceful. Great access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville. Had dinner at the Twisted Laurel in Weaverville first night (amazing French Dip Special!) and lunch the next day at Carmel’s in Asheville (great burger and awesome brownie ala mode dessert). The hot tub was an added bonus! Definitely will be back.
Loved the cabin; however the view, WELL? (looking at a old junked abandoned car and discarded building materials)
We enjoyed our stay at Elk Lodge very much. It was just what we needed to have a relaxing vacay from the upstairs porch and the fireplace it is very “homey”. I also loved our we were “in the woods” but so close to Weaverville and Asheville. I would definitely recommend your property to others.
Clean, well stocked, and convenientQuiet neighborhood
clean and as advertisedeverything was prepared and ready for our arrival and use. the property was well kept.great communication via emailwould recommend if you are visiting the Weaverville area.

Perfect, cozy, clean cabin for our 1 night stay to just relax.
