Wouldn't cover the damage to my mother's house for water damage from a defective water heater.We ended up having to get a lawyer to sue Germania.Do not buy insurance from this company.
We were rear ended by a driver insured by Germania. They totaled our vehicle and based the loss on a biased report. They used condition adjustments that did not reflect the condition of our vehicle. They refused to even discuss negotiation.
HORRIBLE!! They are taking MONTHS TO EVEN GET A PROPER QUOTE FROM THEIR CONTRACTORS!! THEY TOOK MY BACK SUN PORCH DOWN MONTHS AGO CLAIMING IT WAS UNSAFE AND LEFT WITH WITH A SET OF STAIRS AND NO ACCESS TO MY SHOP!! It has been since MARCH that we have been waiting!!!
Germania is an awful company with the lack of communication within the organization between claims department and Supervisors. They agreed to pay for coverage writing a check to wrong company, then when having to reissue the check they decided to deny the claim. I have done everything that Germania has requested and only asking for them to cover what my insurance allows and what we have paid through our coverage.
