Unreliable Inventory held by “Independent Merchants”
My order contained one bottle of the incorrect size. I ordered the 750 mL version and received the 700 mL version. I was told they couldn’t correct the order because the “independent merchants” did not have the correct size at the price I ordered. Apparently, this business doesn’t maintain their own inventory and will not use the inventory of other contractors to correct orders. To be fair, I was refunded the shipping cost and a prorated portion of the shipping insurance, an amount that roughly translated to the loss of value. However, since they admitted they don’t hold their own inventory and won’t correct mistakes made by their “independent merchants” the entire operation appears unreliable.I received a reply to the review above which included the sentiment that Frootbat was “pleased that we were able to reach a resolution you felt was fair…” But that’s not what happened. My use of the expression “to be fair” above doesn’t mean I think the resolution was fair. Fair would be Frootbat honoring the order at the price it was offered, but they won’t do that and I gave up arguing. Regarding their business model they stated “we recognize that it can create limitations when a specific partner merchant is unable to fulfill an exact exchange.” Once again, none of this “partner merchant” excuse matters one whit to their contractual obligations. If Frootbat needs to use a different partner to fulfill an order, that should be their problem, along with eating any price difference, but they won’t. BEWARE if ANYTHING goes wrong with your order, Frootbat WILL NOT make it right! They’ll just shave a little off the cost and hope you go away.

I had received an email ad for Eagle Rare 12 and a free bottle of ER 10. They had decent prices on ER 12 so I pulled the trigger. Seems like a great company, packaging was fantastic and everything arrived complete! Can't wait to try the ER 12!

Avoid - shady business practices
I placed an order for a 2018 Hibiki Anniversary Edition, received a confirmation, credit card was charged, and then I waited. Was not til I reached out and contacted them a week later (in that time I received absolutely zero updates) that they informed me the bottle was no longer available due to the bottle not meeting their quality standards, and instead offered me an entirely different Hibiki edition instead. I declined only to then notice the same bottle I had originally ordered was still available on their website, but at a $500 higher price point - Horrible experience, and will for sure take my business elsewhere. Avoid, and sounds like from other online reviews, this is standard business practice for this company.

Great delivery!
Have not been able to find a bottle of the Blanton's single barrel bourbon in our local ABC stores. After some research and great reviews of Frootbat, I was able to order a bottle and it was delivered in a short period of time straight to our door! Definitely will order again from Frootbat! So easy, so convenient! Customer service kept me updated every step of the way and were so kind!

Most Unhappy
Most of what I've Ordered came exactly as I'd Hoped. The one that makes me a bit upset was a advent calender, it was a Christmas count down of Burban. So im thinking it's like the Jack Daniel's advent calender from last year and the Year before. It's was Buffalo Trace companies so how bad could it be. I got a call from FedEx Taiwan asking what was in box. I had to go back a month and a half to figure out what she was asking. Turns out what I paid good money for was not Burbon at all but silly one inch size if your lucky Christmas Ornaments
