GOOD:Teacher/instructor is excellent!NEEDS WORK:- Communication regarding upgrades like self tests, study, etc. Communication was sent, although functionality was not ready. Then, it became available, and I was not aware. I just happened to be in the website and noticed it was available. - Previous saved recordings of class sessions. Have to send a request to Stephen Sovenyhazy for links- Turnaround times of when account balances are updated. It's been a week since my credit card was charged, however, it is not reflected in my account.-

Ii find Core to have comprehensive…
Ii find Core to have comprehensive materials and the ability to allow tutors to adjust each student's program to best meet their individual needs. It's a most rewarding experience to work with them.

I've found using the Core Languages…
I've found using the Core Languages site rather easy as a teacher. When I don't know what to do usually there is someone worth whom I can chat.

My experience with Core Languages has…
My experience with Core Languages has been great so far. The calendar on the platform is user friendly. My only suggestion is to offer an online platform for instructors to use when working with students online. Also, I would like to have more clients.

I am very pleased to be part of the Core Languages teaching team. I’m a bilingual speaker of German and English snd have taught both languages for Core. I’m a widely experienced college and International Baccalaureate teacher in the states and abroad. At Core languages I enjoy teaching small groups in a business setting as well as giving private lessons to an individual using Core Languages resources together with my own language teaching background. An Embarrassing Situation
Corina came to me with limited English and not liking the language very much. She was embarrassed to speak the language in public for fear of making many mistakes. I explained to her that since she was going to learn a new language, she had to befriend it first and make it a fun task to learn. I also explained to her that it was alright to make mistakes when trying to use it in public. After a few months, Corina can understand the language better and enjoys learning it since now English is her friend. We do a lot of dialogue exercises and I have her repeat the dialogues with the correct answers then I have her translate into her native language. This way, she can see that translating from one language to another cannot be literal. She recently came back from vacation and was very excited because she was not embarrassed to speak English with other people. She found that she did not make as many mistakes as she thought she would, and that people can be patient. She is going to continue taking English classes until she can perfect it.

I absolutely enjoy working for CORE…
I absolutely enjoy working for CORE Langauges. Here is a story to share from one of my students: Cory, who recently moved to Germany, took German intensively with me. His company's relocation service kicked in at some point and wanted to provide him with a new language institute for the improvement of his German. Cory literally put his foot down and said that he is quite happy with his current German classes and wants to continue with CORE Languages. He also told me that the new teacher would not even have been a native speaker and that he only wants to learn from native speakers in order to learn not only the language but also about the culture.Experiences like this absolutely make my day as a language teacher.
