The best taxi firm EVER!
Am so sorry to see that Top Cars London got a bad reveiw because Top Cars Reading are BRILLIANT! I admit that sometimes the person on the end of the phone when first requesting a taxi is a bit abrupt but that is only because they are so busy. The actual taxi drive is the best ever and I would highly recommend them to everyone! I used to have 4 different taxi numbers on my phone list and now I only ever use one. Top Cars, because the taxi drivers have always treated me with the upmost respect and are extremely helpful and kind; especially whenever I have used them when leaving a hospital. I have just had my left knee replaced and when I left the hospital the driver was extremely patient, helpful and drove carefully so that I didn't feel any pain when they drove over the humps in the road. This wonderful treatment even carried on when I had to go for follow-up appointments. I will always recommend Top Cars of Reading because they are the BEST Taxi firm ever.

FRAUSTERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYso I booked too cars for an early journey to Heathrow airport. Although the driver was on time, he asked me to help him load my suitcases as he said he has a back problem, which I did without an issue. While doing this l, one of my suitcases fell and scratched his car and he made a huge issue and demanded I pay him £100 and in the end I did because I was rushing for my flight. He drove very slowly and a journey that should have taken 30 min ended up taking 1hr, luckily I had plenty of time for my flight. When I for to the airport they demanded I pay another £37 which I had paid at their office. They said it wasn't showing on the system. Luckily, O had my bank statement to prove I had paid but they still demanded payment. It was qhen I threatened to call the police that they let it go.DO NOT USE THEM EVEE

Do not use TOPCARS a.k.a. SPEEDYCARS! Unacceptably dishonest, late and rude
Booked a large MVP for£10 with Minicabster. Called Topcars/Speedycars to confirm price and size as I needed it for a baby crib, 2 boxes and 2 bags. They said it was ok. The car arrived 20 mins late. The rude driver said my stuff wouldn't fit (in an 8 seater!) and it would cost £15 instead. As I was late was forced to agree, but even after I agree to pay the "new price" the driver didn't help to load the van. After a very slow journey, purposely slower than a granny's scooter - and total of 45mins late - the driver parked the van very far from the entrance, and didn't help unloading again. The worst cab experience I ever had. Came back with all my items in a Ford Focus, without any problem. UPDATE: I googled "Topcars (a.k.a. Speedycars)" and found that many other customers had a similar experience with them: cheapest quotes to get the job, turning out 20 mins. late and then overcharging 50%. Mine was not an isolated event, Please have a look into their reviews - all the signs of a systematic scam! Minicabster offered me a refund of the "extra" charged by this dishonest operator, but worse than the money was the fact that they got me 45 minutes late for my 3 hour sale event with disastrous consequences.

Call another cab company
Don't show up when they say they are going to. Shocking rude staff that hang up repeatedly when trying to confirm timings. When the cab arrived they had the wrong destination and contact name. The driver had no idea where he was going, looking at his mobile the whole time almost causing a head on collision with a lorry.
