Horrible experience with this company

Horrible experience with this company. If you order lower priced equipment under $500 you might be ok but anything over that just expect to deal with lies an disrespect. If you are promised a shipping date make sure you add about 2 extra weeks on that before they even ship it out of their warehouse. Also don't expect to get tracking numbers for your larger items like the almost $7000 uv printer. An when you call to find out what's going on they don't give a s**t. I still have to order another $34k worth of large flatbed printers but I will absolutely not use swing design to order this time.

Swing Design

I would not recommend purchasing from this company. Their return policy is abhorrent. I couldn’t even get them to do an exchange. If you are going to spend this amount of money, go somewhere that stands behind their products and puts their customers first.

DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY!! The PRINTER DIDN't LAST 3 MONTHS AND and I purchased extented warranty and they still wouldn't cover the parts that broke that are the major part of the printer, THE printers and everything are faulty. Now I'm stuck with 10000 printer that doesn't work!!

DO NOT BUY FROM SWING DESIGN

DO NOT BUY FROM SWING DESIGN. Two weeks ago I bought a DTF printing kit. Everything they sent me arrived in different packages and on different days. Everything they sent me is broken, used, and in poor condition. The printer isn't working properly. It's a long process to communicate with customer service, and once they respond, they tell you to contact the brand's warranty. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SWINGDESIGN.COM.

Customer service was awesome

Ashley was very helpful in helping get my insurance claim through to the right person. I traded in my A3+ in for the Prestage R1. It arrived very fast under a week. Packaging was good. I have had nothing but good results when I have to work with customer service.

Not recommended!

I wish I had read the reviews and done more research before ordering from swing design. First they took forever to ship the order. Tried calling them and no one answers the phone. I almost thought I was scammed of the money. The order finally arrived one late evening. The box, the product all damaged. They should have packed an expensive machine with so much more care rather than just throwing it in a box. Such a waste of time, money and so frustrating dealing with all this. Take your business elsewhere.

I strongly advise against dealing with this website — it’s an absolute scam. I ordered a plotter from them for nearly $8,000 (around $7,500), and thankfully I used PayPal. That decision played a huge role later, because if I had paid by card or another method, I would’ve likely lost my money.The next day, I noticed something very suspicious — there was no sales tax charged on such a large purchase, which immediately raised red flags. That led me to search for reviews, and I was shocked to find numerous negative reviews and not a single reliable positive one.I immediately contacted PayPal, and they advised me to first reach out to the seller to request a cancellation. I did just that. The seller replied after two days and said they would deduct a 5% cancellation fee.I then referenced U.S. federal consumer protection laws, which clearly state that sellers cannot impose hidden fees or penalties that are not disclosed clearly at the time of purchase or checkout. They claimed this was written in their “privacy policy”, but under the FTC regulations, that’s not acceptable — consumers are not required to search through fine print to find such critical terms.Relevant laws and guidelines: • FTC: Bait-and-Switch and Unfair Practices • FTC: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices • California Civil Code §1770 - Prohibits hidden fees and deceptive practicesDespite my explanation, they refused to cooperate. So I opened a dispute with PayPal, provided evidence, and PayPal refunded me in full.Avoid this fraudulent site at all costs. It’s not worth the stress, time, or money. Always read reviews before you buy — and don’t forget to leave one too, so others can be protected. Thank you.

Refusal to send order after they received payment

I ordered a product from them. They took the money out of my bank account and refused to ship the product. They claimed that they wanted to confirm it was not fraud. Then they decided they would cancel the order and would charge me a restocking fee even though they refused to send the item. I would stay away from this company.

I should have started with company…

I should have started with company reviews. They charged my card for about $4500, then started sending me emails from an account called No Fraud. There was no mention of this process when I started this transaction, it is a waste of my time and seems a bit onerous for a small transaction. Although my experience is not as bad as others, I still think it is worthwhile to post my experience.

They stole 250 from me

They stole 250 from me, I bought a silhouette portrait 4 bundle from Walmart through swing design. I never got my package. They refuse to give me picture evidence my package was delivered they claimed to make several claims but they only did one as confirmed by UPS, their advice after lieing? Report it to the police. I hate this company and wouldn't recommend any one buying from them if you don't get it you're SOL. I've been dealing with this since November it's not almost January.

Spend your money elsewhere

To say I am disappointed in Swing Design’s customer service is an understatement. I ordered a BN20 set while the sale was going on. The entire order was to be shipped out in multiple pieces. Unfortunately, the graphtec cutter was shipped while I was out out of town for Thanksgiving and nobody was available to sign for the package, so the cutter was sent back. Customer service decided it would be best to completely cancel my order and refund my order. I probably would not b e as upset about this if the price was the same, however, the price has increased $1500. When I emailed customer support disputing the cancellation, I got a tone deaf response. I then called customer support and it was like talking to a brick wall. I even said I have no issue paying for the items to be re-shipped. According to Swing Design, Roland is no longer offering that sale, and Swing Design has to eat the cost of the units they ‘oversold’. Not sure how that is my fault or my problem. I do, however, have a problem with abysmal customer support who takes the liberty of cancelling my order without discussing with me. The order will now cost me more money. There was ZERO offer of any kind from Swing Design. I am glad I have a graphtec catcher basket and absolutely nothing else to print and cut with. Fortunately, Swing Design said I am free to place another order with them. It was very evident from the calls and emails from them that they do not care about their customers, so I will certainly never give them my business. If you’re looking for a printer I would highly consider going elsewhere because the customer support is pretty atrocious.

I bought 2 Prestige A4 DTF machines

Update 12-24-2024 Well , DTF Station/AA Print supply finally decided to send me a replacement printer, however I had to pay for it to be sent back on my dime, Plus I had to return the Printhead I recieved back , since I was getting a new replacement printer. It took me over 3 weeks to get it and I had to hunt down where it was and call to see when it was due to be delivered. No one contacted me. So I finally recieved a replacement printer on friday 12-20-2024. I literally just took it out the box this morning 12-24-2024, this new printer I recieved will not shut off at all, the front button will not shut off unit the way it is supose too, The only way to shut it off is by way of the power button on the back of machine.So I have not install anything like the Ink or new paper roll I paid forI just had to send another email to DTF station/ AAprintsupply yes today , hoping after the Holidays I will get help. or Finally get my money back. I am truely trying to work with them to get this situation taken care of , Now I am doubting weather I should continue to do so.Update : 11/20/2024 My printer has yet to be fixed. I have requested help from Swing design XCover , DTF Station (AAprint supplies) also been on Dicord. All I am getting is ignored. no one has contacted me at all. I paid for the the maxium extended warranty and they are not honoring it. I was told my Jeffery j. from (Swing design) that the extended warranty I paid for doesn't typically cover full replacements, only the components. Well if all the dang components inside the printer is what makes the Printer work and all of them need to be replaced , isn’t that the same thing as a printer replacement! I purchased 2 printers on July 29, 2023. One was mine and one was a B.D. gift to my sister. I have been trying to get my Prestige A4 DTF printer replaced since September 28th 2024 - it is now November 20th 2024/ this printer is faulty. I have done proper maintance daily / weekly and monthly. I would highly suggest if anyone is looking to buy the Prestge A4 DTF printer - DON"T WASTE YOUR $$$$. because when and I mean when at some point you need help fixing it , you will not get what you paid for , if you still have the extended warranty. I have reached out again today November 20, 2024 to both Swing design by email , discord DTF Station on line and AAprint supply ( known also as DTF Station) by email, I have yet to hear from anyone. My patience is now running Thin and my husband and I are thinking of doing the one thing we were trying our best to avoid doing. ----------------------------------------------------------I bought 2 Prestige A4 DTF machines , from Swing Design” one was a gift for my sister and the other one was for me July29,2023 bought the extended warranty for both. My sister had issues with her machine straight out of the box and she had to jump through hoops it get it fix, she winded up having to return the machine and they sent her a whole new one. However the new machine was doing the same things the first one was doing. She again called - she never got the satisfaction of a having new working DTF printer. Jump to me in September 2024 My machine just stopped printing . The ink Lines and dampers were changed a month prior and worked fine then in September the waste tank pump wouldn’t pump, and the line broke and spewed ink ever where in machine -twice . Now my printer just clicks won’t turn on from the front. I was told by AASupply that I needed a new new replacements parts. that cost about $500.00 or more , So I contacted swing design Clyde warrenty and now I’m having to fight to get a year old DTF printer fix ! I gave them everything I had on the issues I sent pictures/ a video / make / and serial numbers and now they are asking me to send them a Quote from a authorized dealer to show how much it will cost. When I gave them everything I was told to give them. This is down right ridiculous to have to go through all this trouble just to get a DTF printer fixed that is under warranty !

Don't purchase!!!I heard that the Sawgrass 1000 was a good sublimation printer; so, I purchased one from Swing Design, for over $1,600.It arrived promptly. However, upon setting it up; I was unable to register to the print mate software. I kept receiving an error. I spent 2 days and countless hours troubleshooting. On day 2, I called tech support for Swing Desin. I was informed that I had to contact Sawgrass and couldn't return this useless pos!In addition, the ink runs out during setup; to force you to purchase their $300-$400 + cartridges.***Buyer beware***

I have used Swing Design in the past

I have used Swing Design in the past, and I did not have any problems, so when growing my business, I thought it was a great idea to stay with a company that I and many of my friends have used. I bought the Uninet 100 and was so excited to be part of the DTF world, but it has been nothing but a nightmare since I did.First things first, you have to do a 30-minute Q&A before you can even use the printer, and the hours are during normal people's work hours. If you do not do this step, it voids the warranty!! When trying to make an appointment, it may take a few weeks just to get one! Who wants a printer they purchased to make money just to sit there and collect dust?Well, I finally did get an appointment, which went from 30 minutes to 2 hours, and I still did not have a working printer! We did ask multiple times if the machine could be replaced and were told by the rep, Matt, during the Q&A that he could not replace the machine! He came to the point of Matt, the rep, trying to reach out to another rep to figure out what was going wrong with the machine, which still did not help! So finally, I was told I had to do a deep cleaning of the machine and sent videos on how to clean it. Ok, why does a new printer need to be deep cleaned right from the start? And why was I told that the machine shouldn't take that long to start up, but yet you couldn't get a replacement or refund? So needless to say, I had to take another day of work to do another Q&A two days later for more problems to be encountered, and I was still told I could not have a new machine but they would be sending out a new printer head! So here we are, a month and a week later, and guess what? I still do not have a working printer, and Uninet has not even reached out to me to help fix this problem. And granted, when purchasing the package deal, you do not want to spend all of it doing test runs over and over, knowing that there is something wrong with the machine in the first place! Why should I be punished because I trusted a legit company to purchase from and received a broken machine, wasting all my products without being offered replacement supplies as well?As a business, this is wrong on so many levels because, when purchasing a new machine, that is exactly what it should be, and we as customers should not be the ones having to do all the footwork to get the problem resolved!Ashley from Swing Design was very helpful. I was promised a new machine almost two weeks ago and still have not received anything from Uninet.So if I could give them zero stars, I would! Please do your research on this company and machine before you purchase anything at all!

Not great experience/ Worse experience with this company

I got a printer about 4 months ago and it stopped working and the technician is telling me I might need a new printhead, is not even a year old, it is unfair to spend extra money on something that should be working properly. 9/5/23Updating 9/29/23 I received a bad printer, and they now just want me to buy parts, the technician just keeps going around in circles asking me to do the same thing over and over again. What's worse is they won't upload the bad reviews only the 5-star ones. I wrote a review and was nice and gave them a 3 star because maybe I thought things would get fixed, later I updated to a one star, but my review was never uploaded. All you see are good reviews making you think is a good company, but they are not being honest by doing this.

Swing Design has sold me counterfeit…

Swing Design has sold me counterfeit sg1000 cartridges under sawgrass name. Do not purchase from them. The QR code says they’re not real. And when you plug them in it says they’re not real and it will void your warranty.

placed order for ink,they processed and…

placed order for ink,they processed and received payment and did nothing after that.a week goes by so i send a email asking about my order,the next morning i receive a reply from "krista" saying you cannot order the kit on it's own and that i need to purchase ink individuality. But my issue is you took my money for 7 days and only when (I) sent a status update on my order which I payed for 7 days prior, you cancel my order. not a good experience at all.

First and last time I order from this company

This company does not take responsibility for their mistakes. I ordered Kodak Kodacolor DTF Cold Peel Film A3+ 13” x 19” - 100 Sheets that cost $78 but when I received my package an employee had mistakenly packaged and sent me Kodak Kodacolor FTF Hot Melt Powder that cost $39. I can see how the mistake would have been made if the person packaging was not paying close attention. When I emailed them to let them know that I got the wrong item they asked me to send a picture of what I received and the packing slip. Which was fine and I did do that but I also let them know that I needed the cold peel film sent out ASAP because I needed it by the next Wednesday. I notified them of this on the Thursday the week prior and thought that any reputable company would have immediately wanted to correct the mistake and ship out the correct product right away and take responsibility for their screw up. But instead they sent me a return shipping label and wanted to wait until I had the wrong item shipped back to them before they would send the correct one out. So basically because of a $39 product that they were so afraid I might not have sent back to them they pissed me off as a customer and did not get me the correct product by the date that I needed it. If they would have immediately sent the correct product out on the Thursday I notified them I would have easily received it in time. I would have still happily shipped the incorrect one back to them and I would be a happy customer and would continue to buy from them. This was the first time I had ever ordered from Swing Design and it will be the last. If they aren't willing to fix a mistake that is 100% their fault in a timely manner now how can I trust that they will take care of me on any other issues in the future. As a side note I went to a competitor, Grimco, that I had ordered other things from before and explained the situation. I told them on Tuesday that I needed it the next day on Wednesday and they overnighted the film to me at their expense. So I will definitely be giving Grimco my business instead of Swing Design. Sorry you lost out on this customer and possible many others after reading this review because you were afraid of losing $39, hope it was worth it Swing Design.
