OMG I have never in my LIFE known such abysmal customer service!

OMG I have never in my LIFE known such abysmal customer service. I signed up for the free month as offered - only to find that they had charged me! I queried this - no reply for absolutely ages, then they CANCELLED my subscription that I had already paid for!!!It doesn't really matter whether soundcloud itself is any good or not - it's very clear nobody gives a toss about customers. Never again.

DON'T bother with SOUNDCLOUD

my genuine songs written by me are being rejected 1st for image having wavey edges (actually they are pixel perfect and square) and part of words in image are missing (actually there is NO WORDS on the images at at all) next it gets rejected for lack of permission to use drum beats (I create the drumbeat as part of the Auidio Workstation or Yamaha / Novation facilities on the keyboards) then it gets rejected for the language missing, then it's rejected for sometging else, all are attended to before resubmitting, then it starts again with the same 4 reasons when these are again submitted they get rejected again, this takes about a week of playing this game with the soundcloud people and I now think they just take your monthly payments and operate a con hiding behind an full auitomated system and no human intervention. I am thinking of raising a challenge to this German company

SoundCloud offers terrible support

SoundCloud offers terrible support, even with the most expensive plan. They don't answer your questions, they don't resolve anything. You're left on your own with your situation, dealing with bots that don't understand you. About a month later, they send you a support email saying, "We're experiencing high traffic, so we can't respond to you." And then they don't reply. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They're getting really bad with this AI handling of inquiries. They're all lazy and just want your money.

Paywall on all independent music and anything else you've listened to in the past.

They locked all my music behind a paywall, so they're making money off me while preventing others from hearing it. They've blocked out almost everything I used to listen to. Every other music platform is now infinitely better. It's like they've decided to rip off all smaller artists. Their customer service haas always been non-existent but now it's a complete waste of time. Time to move everything I've put on here to youtube. At least they don't punish people for putting music on their site.

I have been a paying SoundCloud…

I have been a paying SoundCloud subscriber (Artist Pro tier) for over 7 years, using Repost to distribute to Spotify, Apple Music, etc.In Nov 2025, former collaborator Alexander Ryan Roland (3therereal) filed retaliatory claims on tracks “WEIRD” & “BLAH” (2019 projects), claiming exclusive vocal rights without authorization. Claims are false/bad-faith: Tracks recorded collaboratively at my home studio in Marseilles, IL—he came over to record vocals. I hosted/engineered/produced sessions with my equipment/DAW. No written agreement grants exclusive rights or restricts distribution. He knew of releases & never objected for 5+ years until after dispute—I called out his lack of accolades; he tried ignored diss track, then filed false DMCA claims Nov 21, 2025 to sabotage my brand & Dec 2025 releases (incl. “WHAH” addressing this).SoundCloud accepted claims, issued strikes & removed entire projects/albums from DSPs (one track pulls whole bundle). Caused major harm: lost visibility, streams & revenue on high-engagement audience tracks since Nov 2025.Filed multiple disputes via their dispute links with detailed rights explanation (primary producer/engineer, implied non-exclusive license from collab, long public availability). Evidence: 2019 DAW screenshots/timestamps/metadata (confirming creation at Marseilles home studio, my role, vocal layers) & beat leases. Form has no upload option, so proofs not attachable—led to rejections despite thorough text.Follow-ups in Zendesk tickets & emails to their copyright support got only generic “high volume” replies or silence—no manual review/escalation/resolution after 3+ months.Fails paid subscriber expectations for priority support & proper dispute handling.

SoundCloud is consistently lacking

SoundCloud is consistently lacking in their customer service. I have spent hundreds of dollars on their website and their top tier membership for artists. I am consistently not getting the Customer Support that I deserved being a pro member. I have my entire catalog through this company, and it would be a total pain for me to go somewhere else (like I want to) due to this issue. I hate to say it but I am really thinking of ending my time with them. It will be a significant setback, but I am really getting to that point if changes aren't made IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

I am a Next Pro artist and i have locked out of my account for ever 10 days due to a 2FA issue TicketI have already provided all legal identification and PayPal transactions proofs (Ticket #4153641) since February 4th but i am being ignored by the Support Team My subscription renews on February 15th and i refuse to pay for a service i cannot access This is completely unprofessional I demand that my 2FA be reset immediately so i can reset access my professional account and the music i pay for

I use SoundCloud from time to time

I use SoundCloud from time to time, but the app has become less stable lately. Tracks sometimes stop playing when I switch to another app, and a few playlists refuse to load on the first try. The idea is great, but the performance feels inconsistent.

SoundCloud is a joke

SoundCloud is a joke. Their distribution service is an absolute joke. They tried to state my art rock was copyrighted material. Which is totally untrue! And I offered to send them any information or files on how I created the art; I just simply never got a response! I was just wanting to try them out. Big mistake. I finally canceled it and released the song and artwork through TuneCore. And another thing, the so-called AI they use to promote your song. I totally believe it's also a joke. I can't find any evidence that the claimed plays are actually real. Don't waste your money!

The're not wrong

When I first got here to Trustpilot and saw the rating I was like ok, I don't feel like just I am having a bad experience. There is no customer service, there are ads on social media advertising services that should be available but in my experience error out. I am surprised they have made it this far. I certainly would not use them for distribution now, seeing how others fared. They can't seem to communicate with their paying customers. It's too bad, I really like the idea of their website and also use Repost Exchange to enhance that experience. Without ReEx, I would not be on SoundCloud.

Looks like I have fallen victim to the Sound Cloud distro scam too. Selling a service that doesn't work and providing no customer support. You got my $100, so well done, Sound Cloud. Good luck w this business model.

For listener, Soundcloud is a good option to listen high quality song but the ads are disturbing for smooth play. I know free user deserved it but at least lower the numbers .

I tried giving soundcloud a new chance…

I tried giving soundcloud a new chance after years away. I paid for pro to get the best. 1) They cancel my uploads stating my song is AI2) They remove my song because it's locked away, but dont know how to fix this issue for artist knowing it's your work3) the process takes long for support to return back to, and only a bot can "answer" your questions but with no real help4) There isnt any refund policyNever again.Go to Distrokid. This service is horrible.

I can’t access my paid pro account at all. I’ve charged me quite a lot of money. I can’t access it. I can’t get logged in.

Great, when it works signed up to a pro account paid them quite a bit of money for an annual subscription which I cannot access. I’ve been trying for a week now to get in touch with their customer service. I might as well be spitting in the wind absolutely embarrassing.
