I recently went through hip surgery after a fall and broken hip/femur. While recovering I asked my boys to bring in a pair of my sketchers comfy cozy fit slip in shoes. They gave me the stability I needed were easy to slip on and off. I believe they aided in my rehab and I was released before the 20 days Medicare gives for rehab. THANK YOU SKETCHERS.

I’ve been trying for nearly a year to resolve a significant loss of income and permanent scarring to my face falling a fall caused by Sketchers footwear.This was ENTIRELY avoidable, Sketches have been NEGLIGENT.I’ve since found out the safety issues with this footwear had already been flagged to Sketchers on multiple occasions but they continued to sellthem.When I contacted Sketchers about my injuries which included concussion, I spent months being ignored by them.It took a visit to one of their local outlet shops, I’d already visited their main store in my town and been turned away, for anyone to listen.The manger of the outlet shop couldn’t have been more helpful but she was not able to resolve the issue.She did as much as she was able to which resulted in me being passed to their insurance company - Crawford & Company.Sketchers clearly do care about their customers as they palmed me off to a company with overwhelmingly negative feedback, which I’ve “copied below”This has also been my experience of this insurance company/loss adjuster.I’ve gone back to Sketchers who’ve refused to help me futher stating that it is now with their insurers/loss adjuster.The insurers/loss adjusters who are rude, patronising, incompetent and disinterested in resolving damages their being solely on minimising compensation.“Consumers also report negative experiences with the staff and customer service. They describe the staff as rude, patronizing, and incompetent. The long response times and high staff turnover are also a source of concern for people. Peeling after 6 weeks and minimal wear.
I'm sure the Skechers Corporation couldn't care less, but I just bought my last pair because the quality has deteriorated over the years. Let me say that I had Skechers shoes for many years without any negative issues. On January 7, 2026 I bought 2 pairs of Slip Ins at a Skecher Outlet in Downers Grove, IL. Because of the winter weather and snow, I didn't wear either of them for a couple weeks. So, I am guessing that I wore only 1 pair maybe 6 times, and mostly indoors. I noticed that on the front of one shoe the black color on the trim was peeling off. So, today, February 18, 2026, I brought them to the same location I bought them thinking they would honor a replacement because it was only 6 weeks since they were purchased. I was told "sorry, but that is a case of normal wear". Normal wear for several weeks, mostly indoors? My years old Skecher shoes never peeled once and are still going strong after years of wear. So, obviously the more popular a company gets, the less quality goes in and the price goes up. Beware of buying from an Outlet store, even if they tell you that there is no difference in the quality between a main store and an Outlet store. I wish they allowed photos on this site, but I will place photos on Google and Yelp.FOLLOW UP ... I did write to customer service as I was told by the store clerk. I found there was a specific department who deals with complaints and quality issues. Below is the response I received. You will note that I will need to send both shoes to California for inspection, and at my cost. You'll also notice that if they decide it is not a defective issue, I will not get my shoes back. So, 6 week old shoes will be lost to me, even with the peeling. The only way I will receive a replacement would be if they decided it was a manufacturing issue causing the damage. And I already was told by the store manager it appears to be usual wear and tear. I guess it is 6 week wear and tear that everyone experiences???Here is the actual response ...Products purchased within 2 years may be returned for inspection. I visited the Liverpool shop this morning, the 2 young women assistants were knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Sketchers shoes are comfortable and long lasting (although I didn't buy a pair today couldn't find the best fit ). This is customer service at it's best 👌

So about five years ago I found my first pair of sketchers and I felt like I had found a miracle.I have neuropathy in my feet and they worked wonders, especially the ones with the little dots underneath that cushion the shoe. They held up very well, and I actually loved walking at work. I retired, and I ordered the exact same pair of two shoes. They were thirty dollars more than they had been the first time.But it was worth it to me, because I knew they were going to help my feet. They arrived, and it was the cheapest material I had ever seen.And I could feel the bumps inside the soles of the shoes under my feet.I couldn't wear them period. I did call the company and the girl said, oh well, they're made in taiwan.Now there was no offer of a refund.No offer of a percentage off of another pair.So I didn't buy any after that.Those shoes are still sitting in the closet. I'm getting desperate because I have to do a lot of walking these last few months and i'm suffering. I had no choice but to try one more pair of sketchers because I don't even know where else to look. Now these are over a hundred dollars.They haven't arrived yet.We shall see. If these are as c***** as the ones I had before, i'm going to take them in the yard, burn them.And make a commercial.

Visited Skechers in Teesside shopping park on the 10th February with my Son who is my carer. I have motor neuron disease and had been advised by my physio to get some better shoes than my usual converse. I asked a lady called Laura about insoles and style of shoes and would they be good for my feet and legs that don’t move very well. She explained about the insoles showing them to me and including my Son in the conversation. She asked if we wanted to take a seat and she would go and collect a few pairs after finding out my size. She came back with a white pair saying she thought they would be along the same style as my converse and a couple of styles of trainers I loved the white pair straight away. I didn’t like the green trainer colour but she told me they had them in red but wasn’t sure I’d like them as they were very bright. So she fetched them over and I’ve had those as well! She didn’t hard sell, just explained the features on the shoes like no tie laces and hard heel supports and how the sole forced my foot to stay still and not slide, just slide into them. The trainers are so comfortable and both will hopefully help my walking. We paid and she did just show me some padded socks that might help & my Son said his wife wears them, so next time maybe. Thank you Laura, it’s not easy finding people who care enough to serve you these days, you gave us a very personal service and you made the whole experience a very happy one

Don’t buy Skechers for longterm use, or to put away as a spare pair.
I bought several pairs of trainers when they were on offer, one of them being Skechers. I rarely wore them but decided I would use them years later for a home workout as they had hardly be worn. Unbeknown to me as I started my workout the sides started to come out all over my floor. What made it worse was the filling was covered with sticky residue which was a nightmare to clean off my wood floor and carpet. I contacted Skechers and was told this can happen after time even if they haven’t been worn. I told them I have other trainers older and they haven’t done that. My advice is stay clear of Skechers trainers if you are looking for them to last longterm even if they haven’t been worn. Certainly don’t buy them to put away as a spare pair. I have photos that I sent to Skechers of proof but it seems you can’t upload photos on here.

No support after period of time
I've purchased skechers for past few years never thought about giving a review. After a period of time these skechers sport black and white tennis shoes lose their support on the inside of the shoes. I've also noticed they've either doubled or almost tripled in prices ! What the hell is up with that ? Back to support, I always get wide width tennis shoes, nevertheless when the inside loses its support it causes plantar faciitis and its painful. Never, I mean never will I purchase another skechers pair of tennis shoes again. I now have to find another comfortable brand that won't lose its support.

Avoid these slip ins thin elastic laces can't be replaced …
I bought Skechers slip ins colour pink with the very thin elastic laces. Within a couple of days the elastic sagged. I bought new stretch laces but after cutting off the old one realised one of the eyelets was completely sewn in so I couldn't dislodge the old lace and renew it. It was the same on both shoes. I'm still struggling to get the eyelet undone. The cotton stitches are super strong. If anyone else has had this I'd be pleased to hear how they solved it. Meanwhile I've no lace in one of the shoes. I would recommend avoiding this style of stretch laces at all costs. Never again 🤦♀️

I bought some Skechers in my usual size. They come up 2 sizes bigger than any other brand. You can't exchange so have to re order...problem is you've lost your points earned and had a 20% discount code that only works once. So to exchange will cost me £25 more than I originally paid because their sizings are off. Phoned customer services to explain and ask for a code I could use. Was in a queue for 2 hours before I had to give up. Doesn't tell you your place in the queue so you have no idea if you're close or not. My guess is there's one person on a phone to deal with the whole world's skechers customers. Appalling service, will return and buy a different brand.

They are very bad shoe company.My wife size 6 was like a 7, this is only when she bought them and one month after. After one month they possible be a 7.5.Terrible. This is not the first time that happen to us.A prevoius pair she bought the soles open up on the front, and customer service is very bad, and the company doesn't care what so ever about you. You can see how many bad reviews they have and never help anyone that complain. AVOID THEM.
