I was looking forward to receiving my honey bells. They are usually like no other oranges I’ve ever had. I was so disappointed when I ate the first one to have it taste so bitter. I gave them another try to have them all be varying degrees of bitter. They were juicy and I did eat them, as they are not cheap, but they were not very enjoyable and definitely not what I expected.
Great-tasting citrus that arrived in perfect condition. Easy online ordering, and customer service is helpful by phone too. Either way, it's easy peasy!
I have been an off and on customer for many years. This year I was given some Florida grapefruit by a friend and determined to show her Texas did it better, I placed an order with you for grapefruit and honeybells. We each ate a honeybell and threw out the rest because they were not at all sweet. We ate all but two of the grapefruit (damaged beyond saving in shipping) but were very disappointed by them. Edible, but not nearly as good as the Florida ones. As a Texan I was embarrassed and very disappointed- hoping this was a temporary problem. It’s too expensive to keep trying when it’s a “maybe they’ll be better this year.

Nothing like it...you know it is going to be great- and can't wait to enjoy it.And when sending the surprises out as gifts to love ones- you are 100 percent certain quality will arrive and they will love it too!

My family has been ordering from this company for...I don't know, 30 years? 40?They grow lovely and delicious fruit that is much better than I can get in a grocery store. I have once or twice contacted them because a single fruit in the order was bad (likely because of bad handling by shipping company), and they apologized and replaced it. What's not to like?

I heartily recommend Río Red Grapefruit from Pittman and Davis!1. The flavor and texture of this special grapefruit is sensational! It is so sweet, juicy, and tender, that it is really a different fruit from any other! 2. Delivery is dependable and well-packaged. Everything has beautiful quality.
First, the quality of all of the fruit that I've ordered has been great! Very good flavor. Not tasteless or dry. The shipping wrapping and boxing is very good, too. The little green wrappers I keep with some to keep them separated in storage. And, the arrival time was as expected. Thank you, P.&D. for good work. Very worth the money to me!
