This company is awesome. There customer service is amazing had a smallproblem. It got solved in 30 seconds. I wouldn't spend my $$$$ anywhere else. Thanks Greg for standing behind your product. Don't bother shopping around come to HLG you'll never leave. Thanks Kyle
3.5 years ago based on retailer recommendation and my own research I purchased an HLG 600 R for a 5 x 5. I have had some good grows but as I advance as a grower I realize that although OK for a 5 x 5 not ideal. I was not sold the best option but the best the retailer had in stock. I recently contacted HLG with some questions in regard to life expectency and whether even though PAR is stong could spectrum wander. Although I see great customer service ratings my experience has been poor. Slow to answer back. Even needing a push. Most of all they addressed technical questions with an answer of moving my temp up to 83f. Hmmm? How does this answer direct product questions? Why create a 1 business day answer message when you are not living to it? I can definitely say my expectations based on stated turn and reviews were not met.
The best light fixtures available today. Dont be scared to purchase the best , due to high prices. They have payment plans, and they are actually very well priced. Look at the other brands and realize for yourself that there is no competition and no worrhy opponents to qualify to go against H.L.G., .....except for the sun outdoors, there no comparison.Quantum Diablo boards. The best there is.
A Company that stand by there product till the end. I will never shop for lights anywhere else and nithershould you. They always respond and try there best to help. Thank you HLG.
This company was amazing. Answered all of my questions with what I would call above and beyond customer service. I needed help and called not only was it a real person but they made me feel comfortable and that they really cared. Walking me through what goes where. Anytime I've ever needed to call (2 times) the first time not only did they call within an hour or so of my contact but a lady called me the next day to double check that someone had gotten back to me... that is customer service. Thank you HLG
Spoke to the owner, he told me he was sickened by low life scum that wanted to make similar products. I spoke with two different individuals who were threatened by HLG with baseless lawsuits to bully competition out of their market space. The owner admitted that their goal is to make the "perception" that their products are higher quality. Have used multiple lights from various companies. The HLG lights I owned had poor thermal performance and sustained more heat damage than other products I owned over long term due to poor thermal design, and light spread and coverage was not as good. I would not recommend HLG products.
Top of the line products and warranty, and I was able to get substantial discount. Highly recommended for serious growers.
BEST GROW LIGHTS!!!!! I have a total of 4 of their lights.I bought one to replace my 8 bulb T5 and I was soo impressed with it I replaced my Fluence Bioengineering SpydrX Plus with a 550 v2 Rspec.And I just upgraded my other SpydrX Plus with the Scorpion Diablo.Now im looking to upgrade my HLG 550v2 with another Scorpion Diablo!!!! Learn about the technology used on these light and you will be changing out your lights too.
