Excellent company - strongly recommended.
I selected Hillfort from a selection of solicitors based on their reviews and reasonable pricing. I was not disappointed.From first contact with Jenine through to dealing with the property conveyancer Daisy the experience was excellent.I found Jenine to be efficient, professional and helpful as she explained the administration process and the documents required to start the process, i.e. Money Laundering identity etc. Contact was by e mail and telephone calls which were thorough.Once through this process my contact switched more to Daisy. As with Jenine very professional and efficient. The best test of an experience is how a company deals with an issue. We were faced with having to navigate around a bank requirement. Daisy was so helpful in solving the problem to everyone's satisfaction. Excellent professional service.Hillfort are strongly recommended.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. Slow, unresponsive, changes without information, I had to call and request everything twice and over charged on the day of exchange even though I confirmed we'd paid three times prior, without warning and no reply in over month. I could go on and write more detail but its exhausting. Cheap and not so cheerful.

I recently used Hillfort Law Firm when purchasing a property and could not have been happier with the service received.Initially I was hesitant to use a firm not local to the property but I really believe that Hillfort, and Adam Muldoon in particular made a real difference for a quick completion and covering all risks ensuring that the property was a sound purchase.I will definitely use Adam again for any future property sales.

Dreadful service - prepare for a sustained headache
I chose this conveyancer based on good reviews and a price point that seemed competitive but was certainly not the cheapest price I found (which I thought may be an indicator of quality). Shocking service, which involved virtually no communication and endless chasing on my part (on top of the usual dogged chasing of an estate agent!). Completely ignored requests for information from estate agent, leading to threats of sale withdrawal from vendor. Significant mistakes in documents that were found by myself - requested these be changed several times to be found no changes had been made. This lead to a data breach to be reported to the ICO. Was never introduced to anyone invovled in the process so enquiries were ignored and then was rudely informed on more than one occasion that staff members were not the people who dealt with my concern. Impossible to receive contact information.Generic email to try and contact someone from their website bounces. If you are not familiar with the selling or buying process, DO NOT use this firm, as you will have to manage the entire process and chase it all yourself. You will also need to understand the intracacies of what is happening to error-check the poor work being carried out.I do feel sympathy for staff members who may be overworked, but if this is the case then the entire business model is set up by someone entirely incompetent.

Highly recommended
Hillfort just guided us through the purchase of our first home. It was not a necessarily straightforward process, but Adam was helpful and patient throughout. He was always available on the phone to answer questions, give advice or explain the next stage of the process.I would recommend proactively scheduling a call with Adam once you appoint Hillfort as they are a busy little outfit and it may take some time for them to get to you, but once we kicked off they were superb. We are really glad we chose Hillfort, and would gladly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy/sell a home.Thank you to the whole team; Jenine, Daisy and especially Adam.

Great conveyancing solicitors
I have recently brought a house using Hillfort, Tekcan was great and put up with my endless calls to him for updates. We completed in 10 weeks and that included Christmas in between . Thanks , would recommend .
