Horrible Company
If I could give Findlay Roofing less than one star, I would. The roof on our home was installed by Findlay only three years ago and we’re already dealing with leaks, visible buckling, and exposed nails throughout multiple areas. This kind of deterioration in such a short time is completely unacceptable and speaks to either substandard materials, careless workmanship, or both.Upon closer inspection, I found several nails completely exposed to the elements, areas of uneven shingle placement, and what appears to be a rushed or negligent installation. These are not minor cosmetic flaws but rather serious indicators of poor quality control and disregard for long-term performance. We even had Findlay come out to inspect the roof and they quoted the repairs at $6k on a roof that initially costed $8k. From this, their own verdict was that within 3 years, their new roof has already reached the point of requiring substantial repairs. We purchased this home believing the roof would be one less thing to worry about, given its relatively recent installation. Instead, we are now facing costly repairs and water damage.I have documented the issues extensively with photos that clearly show the defects. Homeowners deserve to know that Findlay’s workmanship did not hold up even a fraction of the time a properly installed roof should. I would strongly advise anyone considering Findlay Roofing to think twice before trusting them with your home.

**Findlay Roofing Review**
**Findlay Roofing Review**I recently had an exceedingly disappointing experience with Findlay Roofing. Initially, they presented themselves as a very professional company, and I was impressed by the courteous demeanor of the salesperson who explained the options. However, that level of professionalism vanished completely on the day of installation. To start, the crew damaged my HVAC ducts during the roof replacement and promptly stated they would not take responsibility for the damage. This was incredibly frustrating, as it indicated a lack of care for my property. Additionally, I noticed that the workers seemed to be subcontracted and not actual employees of the company, as there were language barriers and inconsistencies in communication throughout the process. The quality of the work was far from satisfactory. The roof was left looking unfinished, with shingles sticking up and flapping in the wind, which is alarming after having paid a significant amount of money for the job. To make matters worse, I did not receive the promised walkthrough upon completion of the work. Instead, a project manager visited a week later to assure me the shingles would adhere properly by the summer, which felt like an inadequate response to my concerns. The most concerning aspect for me has been the customer service since the installation. They do not demonstrate any pride in their work or concern for customer satisfaction. I experienced rudeness when raising my concerns about the shoddy work and even faced accusations of dishonesty regarding damage to my handrails, with their workers claiming it was pre-existing.It has become clear that any positive reviews for Findlay Roofing may be from people associated with the company. I strongly advise against using Findlay Roofing for your roofing needs. Please think twice before investing your hard-earned money in a company that does not honor its commitments or take pride in its work.

Absolute scam artists
This is what can be described only a scam company to draw in vulnerable or old people and fleece them of their money.

Poor professionalism
I paid Findlay Roofing to provide me a new roof and gutters approx. 2 years ago. The roof seems ok. The rainwater overflows the gutter; so, I need a gutter panel to block the water coming off the roof.I contacted Findlay and scheduled appointment. The evening before the scheduled appointment, I received a call from Jason the Sales Manager who stated that the minimum charge would be $500.00. This was very unprofessional and not customer focused.I told him no thanks and that I was disappointed that he was trying to extort money from me without diagnosing the problem. He texted me that he could come and look at the problem for no charge after I told that that I was going to post this incident

Really disappointing experience
Really disappointing experience. The company web presence is very well curated and they appeared to be a large and reputable company. My experience was to be let down twice by them failing to show up for an appointment to quote us for work. Twice we organised our day to be available for the appointment and twice we were told that they had tried to call to confirm the appointment and that we had not answered. When we explained that both of our phones had full signal and we'd had no calls the excuse was a "glitch in the system". In the end we cancelled and went with another company.

Garage Roof
Our experience with Findley Roofing has been excellent.Initially Grant Findley came out to discuss the problem with our garage roof, a very reasonable price was agreed. The roofers: Lewis and Stephen did an excellent job and we also could not fault the work of the scaffolding gang. All in all we are extremely pleased with the whole experience. Thank you to all at Findley Roofing & Building of HartlepoolRichard & Valerie

Out of the bad reviews I have read
Out of the bad reviews I have read, these folks are a bunch of Karens. During COVID, no English speaking workers, (most roofers contract out to Mexicans, period) There is ALWAYS going to be come debris. They did my roof 17 years ago and I am using them again.

Our neighbours had new roof installed…
Our neighbours had new roof installed December 2022Lots of debris in our garden, Our neighbours requested Findlays to remove debris from our garden, which they they also cleared our path from front gate. However they then applied rock salt to our paving which has now crumbled due to the application of rock saltMy partner has contacted Findlays and informed them of the damage to our paving. A roofer came out and took pictures of damage to path and said we would be contacted by the firm. They didn’t contact us so my partner phoned them twice and eventually spoke to manager who in turn got in touch with managing director who said it was due to the weather conditions and not the rock salt. However where no rock salt was deposited there is no damage. The manager my partner spoke to said to claim off our insurance and put the phone down.We have spoken to experts in paving who all say never put rock salt on domestic paving. We intend to take this furtherBe very careful with this firm they are not customer friendlyNote I have had to give them one star in order to write a review. If it were up to me it would have been minus 1for their attitude and customer service

Absolute bandits .....be warned
Absolute bandits .....be warned. Priced me for a job in April to do a job with a three week wait time. 5 weeks later the quantity surveyor rocks up to measure up and tells me due to COVID I may have to wait a further 4-5 weeks. Under the circumstances that’s fine. I wait for months with no contact and ring for installation date only to be told they won’t be doing my job because they have underquoted. Not even a phone call to say we have made a mistake will you be willing to pay a little more. So 4 months on and I still have a leaky roof with a written contract to repair it. When challenged they turned ever so aggressive and the customer service is shocking. I would try another company before you entertain these bandits!!!

We would not refer Findlay Roofing to anyone - poorly supervised work, poor customer service
Findlay Roofing replaced our roof on April 10, 2020. A crew of about 7 – none of whom were English-proficient unless there was someone who remained uncommunicative – began work without even knocking on the door to alert us to their presence. During the entire day, only one worker communicated with us (twice) and only via gestures – once to plug in a heavy-duty extension cord inside the house and once to unplug it. There was no on-site supervisor, before, during, or after the job, that was identified as such. There was no final walk-through with us as stated in the contract; in fact, the crew left without even letting us know they were leaving. For days afterward, and as late as May 25, we were finding loose nails and tarpaper in our yard. A piece of tarpaper was also found behind our cooktop vent. We found bags of nails in the attic vent after their departure. This carelessness with debris does not bode well in a household with animals (which they could not have failed to be aware of) and a residential neighborhood with a fair number of children, especially for a company whose website boasts, “We protect your yard, and your family, as if it were our own.” Debris is possibly the cause too of some bumps under the new shingles. We had to call and request an inspection after the job was completed. Our concern about debris in the yard was addressed only by the inspector removing some of the debris from underneath the gutter; he also repaired one of the loose gutters. He did not issue an apology (which would have gone a long way toward good will) nor even exhibit surprise.Payment status is not an issue; we paid for the job in full 4 days after it was completed, per their invoice sent to us via e-mail on April 10 stating they require payment in full upon completion. The only reason it wasn't paid ON April 10 is because the day before, they called to move the project up a week and we had not moved the funds yet.Our questions and concerns could have been addressed had there been project supervision (English-speaking), had someone contacted us as a follow-up courtesy, or had we been treated more respectfully afterward. We wrote a letter to the owner, Mr. Steve Findlay, on May 4, listing our concerns. As of this date, June 2, that letter has not been answered nor have we been contacted in any way by anyone about it. Findlay’s advertising brags of its customer service and reputation. In an e-mail requesting we review their company and the job on our house, we find the comment that “customer satisfaction is our number one priority.” We have found their inflated claims to be sorely inaccurate in our case and would never refer them to anyone we know. They also said in the e-mail that our review “would mean the world” to them. So here is our review.

What a waste of time!
What a waste of time! Can to look at my roof issues in July 2019 and despite lots of promises never provided a solution nor a scope/cost of repairs. Recently received a phone call from Findlay Roofing enquiring whether I still required any work executing. Clear from the conversation that one hand does not know what the other one is doing inside this company as even though they knew they had visited me in July 2019 they had no record of whether they had offered a scope/cost, let alone done any work.If I were you I would steer clear of what is clearly management incompetence. Can’t comment on work execution as we failed to even get close!

Best Roofers in the A.T.L
Best Roofers in the A.T.L. ! This company does fantastic work. I have used them twice on my home for roof repairs after storm damage. They are easy to work with and fairly priced. I highly recommend this company for Atlanta area homes.
