Pro-C2 compressor: be careful with sudden white noise!!!
I was interested in buying their Compressor, because I found it is a fantastic tool. But when I read reviews about it I noticed reports about that their plugins have an anti-piracy solution implemented, that if the plugin detects there is no license, the plugin starts generating very loud white noise, and some claims it is so loud that it can damage your ear. Some people reported cases when this happened, when they used the plugins with legit license but due to some operating system corruption error the plugin falsly detected there is no license and started emitting the loud noise suddenly. After knowing this there is absolutely no way that I ever buy anything from them. I do agree they have one of the best plugins online, but no way I would risk my hearing because of these. To me anyone who comes up with such an idea and programs it like that, that it affects legit users as well, is an idiot. And the whole case is annoying at the same time, because this way, I need to miss a great tool.

Didn't get help on retrieving my license
My PC crashed and had to reinstall Fabfilter Pro Q-3. For some reason never got an email with my license by the time I made the purchase, so I found myself without my license by the time I needed to reinstall. Contacted FabFilter support and all they told me is they didn't have any record about me or my order. After providing them with more information about my credit card transaction I never got an answer back.Had to contact Cleverbridge and fortunately they found me, my transaction and my license.FabFilter plugins are great! the best! but not cheap and its customer service didn't honour the level.
