DRIS is THE place to go for dry suits!!Many thanks to them for partnering with DIVEIN on YouTube!!After DIVEIN's drysuit videos, particularly the one on Bare X-Mission drysuits, yesterday (Jan 19, 2026), I and my friend (who is also my SSI XR Instructor) drove 6 hrs to DRIS in Plainfield, IL and spent over 4 hours with Bill - who was simply fantastic - as he fully explained and showed me the features of the suits I was interested in from Fourth Element, Bare (the X-Mission DIVEIN discussed in their video), and Santi - in addition to seal and dry glove systems. He helped settle on the suit that best met my needs, measured me, and got me into ordering a Santi E-Lite Plus that only required three minor modifications from a stock size, and added the options I wanted. SAVED $$$ over a full custom!!It's a freakin' sharp looking suit with the color scheme I selected!Getting the premium drysuit warranty (a $450 value) thrown in for free based on the video was easy, and I upgraded it to the platinum warranty for a little more.My advice: I went there with a well-considered list of:(a) how I will use the suit (temp ranges, boat, shore, BPW, SM, etc.),(b) undergarments and active heat I planned to use,(c) specific attributes I was looking for in the following categories: Materials, Zipper, Cut, Seals, Pockets, Pee Valve, and Feet (ex: user-replaceable seals, reinforced knees, neo socks, plastic zipper, left leg balanced pee valve, etc.),(d) what I considered "nice-to-haves" (ex: reinforced elbows & seat, low-profile exhaust valve, etc.) and,(e) importantly, things I did NOT want (ex: back zipper, boots, cave cut, replaceable seal systems that use CLIPS, etc.)I took considerable time to develop the list from my own experiences and with advice from people I trust who have more experience than I do. It was VERY helpful to do that homework ahead of time and provide that list to Bill and it formed the basis for his recommendations.I could not have asked for a better experience!

I ordered scuba gear from Dive Right In Scuba and their selection was huge, prices fair, and staff really knew their stuff, they even helped me pick gear that fit my diving plans. Most of my orders arrived quickly and in good shape, and the customer service was friendly when I had questions. That said, I did hear a few stories where shipping got delayed or certain items were out-of-stock, so I'd double-check availability before ordering.

Called and talked with Sean this evening. My wife's new SEAC BCD inflator button was very hard for her to press do to her Rheumatoid Arthritis. We leave for Cozumel in less than two weeks. Sean wasn't sure if the Dive Rite inflator/deflator would work her SEAC. He told me he would research it and call me back. An hour or so later he called with pictures of the DIve Rite inflator/deflator working on a Seac. Placed the order and should be here in plenty of time for me to put on for our trip. He actually was able to push both inflator buttons to make sure it was an easier push. That folks is great service. Thank you Sean!

I bought a sitech flex replaceable…
I bought a sitech flex replaceable wrist and neck kit with DRIS. The first awkward thing was that the tool to place the neck seal in the neck ring was not included. In addition, seems like the material used in the ring set - especially the slaggo flex ring set - is of poor quality as it broke after changing the seal once! Loking at the Sitech website I found they do have quality standards. I asked DRIS about replacement and they told me there's no warranty on "just a piece of plastic". Disturbed to think that not only the price for the plastic but also one of the pieces of plastic that keeps me from freezing, I started looking into more details. After further investigation, I found DRIS are not sitech approved vendors! I asked them about it, but haven't heard back since. They do have great prices, but you might be getting shitty products. So be aware!

The service provided to me my DRIS and particularly Sean Ismail was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable about various dive equipment, and I am confident that the new equipment I purchased is ideal for me. I ordered a setup sight unseen, and while I ended up not too happy with the product itself (which I specifically asked for from Chris), the service was excellent. When I contacted the company to return the items after receiving them, that’s where Sean Ismail stepped in.Sean was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I wanted to return the items, and he went above and beyond to help me explore alternative options that better suited my needs. I recently placed an order for a dive trip. A part was missing which they didn't have in stock. They actually reached out to another vendor and ordered the missing part for me to get in time for my trip. I don't think I have ever experienced customer service that is this good. The best!

I ordered swim goggles for my granddaughter and I chose one based on the reviews. I am so glad I did! The quality is great and the adjustment strap is not made out of rubber so it is so much more comfortable to adjust. It even came in a hard plastic storage box. I had to reach out to customer service regarding shipping and right away got a response. Shipping was quick and I am so glad I ordered from dive right scuba instead of Amazon. Great company

I absolutely love contacting Dive Right in Scuba! I really want my money to go to brick and mortar dive shops because I appreciate the personal interaction and the ability to receive advice! Diverightinscuba are also a brick and mortar store but offers the benefit of being able to shop from home! Their equipment is high quality and shipping is timely, very transparent process, everything that you would expect froma reputable company is there! What sets them apart for me is their absolutely amazing knowledge and responsiveness! I have called with things I knew nothing about and someone sat with me on the phone, had a wonderfully friendly conversation, without the pressure to buy! I have received honest advice, like “ what kind of diving are you planing to do?”, and depending on my answer, I received answers like “ you don’t need to buy all this, it’s overkill, however this other thing may make you more comfortable”! They were available when I received the order to make sure I understood how to put it together, sent mevideos and insisted that I can call anytime for advice! Diving equipment is expensive but having somewhere where I will get honest advice about what I do or do not need is priceless! They will forever be my go to place to buy equipment and make sure I understand what I am buying! Bill is absolutely beyond awesome! He took his time while I tried on many different dry suit undergarments. He helped me with my dry suit. Even volunteered to stay after closing a little bit so I could get everything fitted and help get me ready to Dive Right in. Bill deserves a raise!
