We just redecorated our living room with LVP, installed by Kevin Wright for CarpetOne in Ames. This is the 2nd time Kevin has laid LVP in our home & he does a great job! He is professional, courteous, & efficient. We specifically requested him for this job as he had done an outstanding job in our kitchen last year. We highly recommend Kevin!
Carpet One in Ames makes the whole process of choosing, measuring, & installation of flooring seamless. We worked with Terra Rooney several times & in our latest project, chose carpet. Terra is great to work with, and Tom & Donja Esk were, too. They are true professionals, know precisely what they are doing, & very methodical in their approach. Our new carpet was installed beautifully & we couldn't be more pleased with the end result delivered by Tom & Donja! Thanks again, Carpet One, Ames!
From start to finish Krystal,Jerry,Adam, and Bryan made our experience enjoyable. Even though we were a distance away, they always showed up ready to go! We appreciated their suggestions and opinions. We love our new kitchen. We would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience. Would NEVER use Carpet One again. Communication, follow thru and professionalism at its worst! Only thing that was good was the carpet layer, who is contracted. They ordered the wrong carpet, cut the carpet incorrectly, and did not get back to us after they had our money.
Debbie and the Carpet One team are truly amazing!! We’ve been remodeling for a couple of years now and getting our carpet in was the last step. Debbie made the entire process effortless and stress free!! She made sure that my vision for our home was achieved and I can’t thank her enough for her honest and caring approach from the moment we stepped foot in the store! I can’t say enough about the installers!! Not only did they do a fabulous job getting the carpet in, they also assisted my husband with moving some pretty large items in and out. We had some friends lined up to help but due to these unprecedented times, plans fell through at the last minute. Not sure what we would have done without them. I love my new carpet! My home is finally complete and it’s all due to the exceptional staff at Carpet One!!
Everyone was great at Carpet One. From the sales staff answering all of our questions to the install team who did a fantastic job. Can't recommend them enough!
Everyone was very helpful. Tami was excellent as far as helping pick out carpet & blinds!! Paul did a wonderful job laying the carpet!! Absolutely love the look!!!!
The installers were friendly, courteous snd very efficient. They did an excellent job and it looks beautiful. Sales person who helped me with tile selection definitely knew their products and made it a painless process. Defintely would choose them again.
Salesperson Tony Tracy was knowledgeable, professional, positive and friendly. The LVP and Carpet are gorgeous and seem durable. The Installers were professional and competent. The deal was fair. Overall a very smooth and pleasant transaction.
Kent was so helpful and thorough. I love my blinds and that is because of the suggestions he made as to color .
My only concern . I didn’t realize that the flooring I picked had a different finish than what we already have. Feel that you should have seen that. I love my floor and I can live with the different finish. The installer was the best and I feel he did a great job.
Troy and the carpet installers were amazing......very professional!! Troy was such a big help in choosing the carpet and the final product is perfect. The installers were to be at the house by 9:00 and they were at the house by 8:30 ready to go....and worked diligently! We will definitely be back to Carpet One for our next purchase....thanks so much!!
I was very pleased from the time I decided to purchase the carpet.Kent went over the warranty & etc, very professionally.Love our carpet & the installers were very professional as well.Will definitely be back for future purchases & will recommend to friends & family.Julie Lias
The experience was fairly easy. I had to reschedule my installation and when I did, I found out the salesperson was no longer there, so I felt like while I got help, I didn't get the same friendly response that I had gotten when I purchased the flooring.Also, when the installation was scheduled, I was told Tuesday -Thursday and then the week before I got a call to confirm and it had changed to Monday-Wednesday. It worked, but this isn't ideal when you are planning on how to be present and move schedules around.
