Carl's Jr used to be my favorite burger joint. They have been going downhill for several years now. I would get the original $6 burger. They discontinued that burger and replaced it with an ok Angus burger. Yesterday, 2/13/26, I ordered a famous star, their signature burger. What I got could hardly be called anything more than a bun. The picture looks great. What I got was something so miniscule that the top and bottom of the bun was touching. I had to peel it open to see if there was any meat or other toppings inside. Definitely not what I have been accustomed to.

Best burger experience
My boyfriend had raved about this place so I decided to give it a go with him. We went to the branch in St David’s 2 in Cardiff. Service was excellent. Amir served us and was so courteous and helpful. All delivered with a big smile on his face. I thought he was actually the manager due to his professional demeanour and aplomb but found out from one of his colleagues that he isn’t. Well, he should be. The branch is missing a trick there. He even came to our table on his way out at the end of his shift to make sure we were happy with our food. The food was fabulous. Great portions, hot, tasty and everything you could wish for in a burger experience. The vanilla milkshake tasted immense. Definitely returning.

Ripping customers off by only using one burger patty but advertising that it's a double
I used to like Carl's Jr double western bacon cheeseburger but here in Spokane the Carl's Jr I go to is cheating their customers on patty's. For the last four times I have gone there and ordered double western cheeseburger, and today I ordered the new double burger each time I only received one burger patty. Sounds like they're really trying to save money by ripping people off I won't be going back there's other places you can get a double burger.

Delicious jalapeño double cheeseburger meal with zucchini fries
I ordered the jalapeño double cheeseburger meal with fried zucchini instead of French fries. My food was fabulous. It was cooked to perfection, with plenty of chipotle sauce, jalapeños and lettuce. The zucchini was perfect, as well. The man who took my money was pleasant, made eye contact, and thanked me. Just right! I called the store after I enjoyed my lunch and asked them to please tell the cook how good it was. I’m not sure many people stop to tell others what they do right, but I’m sure it feels good when it does happen. The shift leader assured me they would make sure to spread the compliment. False advertisement
Don't use the carls jr app to order.they advertised buy 1 get 1 for 2 dollars.I ordered and they charged me full price and the manager at the restaurant I picked it up from says she can't help me that she has nothing to do with the app so now I'm out of my money and I drove 5 miles one way to get it.that is false advertising and now they want to contact me back in 3 days if they decide to.Don't use the app it's poor customer service after they get your money.

My experience at Carlos Jr was sad and terrible. I wish that this never happen to any other customer. They screwed my order put lettuce when i asked for no lettuce, they were mad when i returned back to complain so they took my sandwiches tossed them in the garbage and refused to give me a replacement saying that i took bigger bites from them. I was intermetant fasting for 18 hours and literally shaking from hunger.They took my food, refused replacement and shot the window on my face. I literally went to bed defeated and hungry after a long day at work. I slept hungry because someone decided to punish me for complaining 😞 The next day, I called to speak to the store manager, but she refused to talk to me. I heard her say she was “too busy” to deal with my complaint at the moment, and then the call ended.I left a one-star review, and they replied with an apology, asking me to follow a link. After I did that, they completely ignored me.

They need to send a vehicle through the drive through with the same crew working as on 10/4/25 at 8:11pm on Antelope near I-80 and then fix what ever it is they’re doing to make the special order burgers eatable again. Absolutely the nastiest burger and Onion Rings of my life.

I just had the worst burger I've ever bitten in to. I remember enjoying the $6 burger for $3.99, but now the famous Dry as a Desert Bone $10 special actually left me angry. Another American product that should be run up someone's flagpole. Never again and not recommended👎

The nonchalance of it all…
Ordered a meal combo with still water. Did not want soda or order milky drinks for additional £3 ( not my kind of beverage). Meal brought to table, was then asked if I wanted anything else. Umm where is the bottled water. Oh you ordered that, checks bill, yes, oh you ordered at Kiosk yes. Oh you can have some water from over there or any soda. But I ordered a combo with still water. Now I’m told oh we have no still water. Goes to check at till , was pointed to the soda dispenser again. Only after clearing the table did I get a proper acknowledgment. The nonchalance is main point here.The fries and jalapeño chicken sandwich were good.

I had an amazing experience at Carl's Jr. Thanks to the exceptional service provided by employee Adriana From the moment I walked in,she greeted me with a smile she was tending both areas in the front and drive through and I still felt her honest warm smile and made me feel welcome.Her positive attitude attention to detail,and professionalism truly stood out. Friendly but also efficient. My order was correct 💯 and quickly.you can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. Even during busy time all the pressure one coworker calling her I thought she was going to loose it but she stayed calm, organized and courteous to every guest.

There's a Carl's close to where in live in Victoria, has been there for 1+ years but never been interested to try. Overall, the food tastes like microwaved hungry jacks, so it's not very good. I did not detect any particular flavour from the beef, but I can clearly tell it's rubbery and microwaved or pre heated or similar etc. not good. the burger buns are quite noticeably sweet also I thought, which I don't like at all. Processed cheese that was in no way melted on any burger, so whatever order they are doing things... It's not right. Chips tasted like...chips. soft drink cups massively filled with ice.Overall it's a no, I wouldn't do this again
