Once, but never again. What a mess. There were a lot of duplicate stamps. Some stamps were completely faded. Waste of my money.

UV Lamps
I recently ordered a Lighthouse ultraviolet lamp and a replacement UV bulb for an existing short wave lamp. I heard nothing after a few days so I dropped them an email. Much to my surprise I received a phone call on Sunday afternoon from Steve, who I believe is the owner, explaining he had had a lot of reliability problems with the Lighthouse lamps and wouldn't recommend buying one. He suggested an alternative make which was a little more expensive, although he didn't charge me any extra. The lamp(s) turned up today and are great. The replacement bulb I ordered was out of stock and I received a very prompt refund for this. I would certainly recommend Swan Stamps/British Stamps as long as you don't expect the order to turn up the following day, perhaps we've all become to used to Amazon 🙂

Great service
I’ve bought stamp mounts several times through ‘Swan Stamps’ which I believe is the same company, certainly the same web page; I’ve never been disappointed. The mounts are all as expected, they arrive quickly and on one occasion I had made a mistake in my order which was picked up by the staff, who contacted me, and corrected my mistake. Top notch company, excellent customer service, 5* well earned.

Slow service
Disappointed with this service. Received a message stating that order was being processed but hadn't heard anything back from emails sent regarding despatch of items. Found telephone number on paypal account (not on website anywhere) and called to check the order. The man that spoke to me was quite rude, stated that he doesn't work on weekends and that I needed to be more patient. I asked for the order to be cancelled with a full refund. Email ignored regarding refund. Wouldn't use if you are after a quick, efficient service.

Amazing quality wash care stamps
I ordered a wash care stamp with my logo and it’s absolutely amazing I’m so pleased I switched! I also got the age stamps - so easy to use and speeds up my sewing! 10/10 would recommend!

Avoid this dealer…
Was quick to reply to my order and take my money. twenty two days later still no stamps even after sending them email reminders. No way to run a business.Contacted my Bank to return my money!!

Got there in the end
I too wish that I had read the reviews.I placed two orders on the same day which really threw them. The second arrived promptly but it turns out that the first ended up being marked as complete on their system. I emailed two or three times when the first order failed to arrive and never received a reply. However, they always answered the phone promptly and eventually they realised the mistake and sent out the order straight away. I am pleased with what I received and may try them again.

Wish I had read these reviews. I placed and paid for an order, 1 week later nothing, so phoned 5 times that were timed out got through on 6th attempt, none of my order in stock - showed as stock on website! I so want stamp collecting retail business to survive, its the lifeblood of a hobby, but this business...unable to recommend.

never received item after waiting 12days, no reply's to mails, will not use again , might be the oldest on the web for stamp but differently the worst, 0 stars, refunded back via PayPal after marking claim

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER. I have ordered Hawid Mounts and Hawid Mount cutter on Feb 7th 2021. The packages were not delivered till date. When I checked with Steve he mentioned because of BREXIT customs clearance is taking more time. I have purchased stamps from UK website before and I never had this situation. When I asked for the tracking number there was no response from the website. VERY POOR.

Avoid at all costs.
Purchased a 100 stamps for postage for my business which were used over a few days, 1-2 weeks later my customers were either surcharged £2 (which I had to reimburse them) or the letters that these stamps were used on never arrived. Letters were marked as INVALID STAMP. Britishstamps took no responsibility, hundreds of pounds out of pocket as a result and many hours wasted filing complaints, dealing with complaints, remaking and sending replacements. AVOID.

Awful company advertise stamps but…
Awful company advertise stamps but despite making a payment never sent me the stamps !! Do not answer telephone or respond to emails !! Avoid this company they are extremely Dodgy !!!
