Unethical conduct
I just got off the phone with the owner of the company after being informed my last check would not be made available to me on my final day stated in the two weeks I gave to my manager. He said he has an elective policy in place that allows him to do this. Yet in our state there is no allowance for any such policy, legally I should have received my check today. I asked for a copy of the paperwork proving I knew of this policy, signed an agreement acknowledging the policy and that it is legal. He said he was “too lazy to look for that” I asked if he was refusing to provide written proof of this policy and he said yes. Be careful with this company.The main reason I quit this job is because they don’t communicate, at all. My manager ignored every time I tried to communicate with her. The scheduling department never let me know if there was changes to my schedule, then would lie to me when I asked why I hadn’t been informed. I lost so much money and wasted so much time here.
