Product: ADDMOTOR SPYTAN TRIKE 2ND GENERATION. OLIVE GREEN 750W. PRICE:$2000I can't decide between the two or a 3-star review but I'll just be generous and go with the three. I THINK THE FRAME ON IT IS DECENT, BUT THERE'S NO SUSPENSION, SO IT'S A REALLY ROUGH RIDE.MY SEAT BROKE ON ME, MY FENDERS ON THE FRONT WHEELS BROKE, THE LIGHTS FELL OFF TOO. THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME KIND OF WEIRD ADJUSTMENTS THAT WERE MADE TO MY BIKE. I DIDN'T GET IT FROM THE ADDMOTOR SITE BUT IT'S SUPPOSEDLY WAS BRAND NEW FROM A LOCAL BIKE SHOP.I PAID EXACTLY WHAT THEY WOULD PAY FOR IT ONLINE (WHICH WAS MY MISTAKE I SHOULD HAVE JUST PURCHASED IT ONLINE BECAUSE THEN AT LEAST I WOULD HAVE HAD SOME KIND OF PROTECTION OR SOME SORT OF WARRANTY.) BUT THE THING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND NEW.LOTS OF THINGS HAVE TO BE ADJUSTED ON IT. FOR EXAMPLE THE TIRES THAT IT CAME WITH WERE JUST TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TIRES THEY DIDN'T EVEN MATCH THE RIM SIZE THEY PUT 3.0 ON 4.0 RIMS AND IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE THEY HAD LIKE NO TREAD ON THEM AT ALL SO RIGHT AWAY OFF THE BAT YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW TIRES AND TUBES FOR A IT WAS $21. AND THEN YOU GOT TO PUT TUBE PROTECTORS AND GREEN SLIME IN THERE TOO.THE HANDLEBARS THAT IT CAME WITH WERE LIKE JUST MADE IT FEEL GROSS SO I PUT SOME STRAIGHT BARS ON THERE AND WORKS MUCH BETTER I THINK THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THE THING ALSO HAD AN AUTO TURN BASICALLY RIGHT OFF THE BAT. I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE MUCH TO TEST IT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT SO I WASN'T ABLE TO REALLY TELL BUT I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO RIDE THIS THING NO-HANDED AND THEN AFTER I TOOK A LOOK AT THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL THAT DIDN'T MATCH WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. LIKE AS IF SOMEBODY HAD MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS. ALSO MY CAP FOR THE FORKS ON THE INSIDE WERE IT ATTACHES TO THE FLOWER WAS ALSO LIKE OFFSET AND THERE'S A BUNCH OF METAL SHAVINGS IN THERE TOO IT'S LOOSE RIGHT NOW. I DIDN'T LIKE HOW IT CAME WITH TWO BASKETS BECAUSE WITH THE BASKET ON TOP OF IT LIKE THAT YOU COULDN'T EVEN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BOTTOM BASKET FULLY SO I JUST ENDED UP TAKING OFF THAT TOP BASKET BECAUSE I COULD ALSO GET IT THROUGH THE DOOR MUCH EASIER.BECAUSE YOU CAN'T JUST PUSH THIS THING THROUGH ANY DOOR YOU HAVE TO GRAB IT BY THE RACK AND THEN TWIST IT TO THE SIDE. BUT ONE THING THAT I DIDN'T REALLY THINK ABOUT MUCH BUT OVER TIME AS I WROTE IT A LOT STARTED TO REALIZE THAT THIS THING REALLY SHOULD HAVE HAD SUSPENSION ON IT I KNOW THERE'S A NEWER VERSION WITH SUSPENSION ON IT FOR LIKE 700 MORE DOLLARS BUT THE FACT THAT THIS THING WAS EVEN RELEASED EVER IN THE FIRST PLACE WITHOUT SUSPENSION IS AMAZING BECAUSE YOU JUST HIT THE TINIEST LITTLE CRACK AND IT'S JUST LIKE IT CAN THROW YOU OFF SO IF YOU'RE LIKE GOING DOWNHILL OR SOMETHING AND YOU HIT LIKE A BUMP IT CAN LITERALLY ALMOST JUST KICK YOU OFF AND IF IT HAD SUSPENSION TO ABSORB IT YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DYING. IT'S PROBABLY ONE REASON WHY I HAD LIKE OVER 50 FLATS MOST LIKELY THAT AND JUST WERE POOR TIRES.THE BIKES NOT ALL BAD THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OKAY THINGS ABOUT IT I DON'T KNOW IF THE ADVANTAGES OUTWEIGH THE DISADVANTAGES I'M STILL DEBATING ON THAT EVEN AFTER LIKE 6 MONTHS OF HAVING IT. THERE WAS MANY MANY TIMES WHERE I GOT AND RIDE THIS THING AND I GET FLAT TIRES AND IT REALLY SUCKS WHEN THAT HAPPENS I MEAN IT SUCKS WITH ANY BIKE BUT IT'S JUST REALLY TERRIBLE WITH THIS ONE FEELS LIKE IT'S JUST A NIGHTMARE. I ALWAYS CARRY TOOLS IN A TUBE WITH ME BUT ON A FEW OCCASIONS WHERE I HAD GOTTEN CAUGHT SO UNLUCKY I DEFINITELY PAY THE PRICE.

Unstable especially on unlevel terrain. Some poorly made parts. Configuration poorly thought out. Requires new handlebars to be able to steer. Frame is solid and well made. Pretty looking bike, too. But far harder to ride than a 2 wheeler, strangely.

order the Landtan in red at end of summer.It came FedEx freight, so was able to pick a range of time of deliverly.Assembly was quick and easy. Basicly put front wheel on and attach the handle bars. All wiring was connected.I am 5"6" and 165#s, the bike sizeis perfect not to big and not to small.the Trike is sharp looking, the basket and fendersreally add to the look.the paint job is flawless looks to be power coated.The Trike rides great, with a seep of 20 MPHit is way faster than i need so keep aroud 10-15.Trike is very easy to ride enen without motor running.usually go a few miles before i even use the motor.Customer service team has been great to work with.answered all emails same day and keep me informedon shipping dates.I researched alot of Trikes before this purchase, andthe Landtan was by far my favorite one, the looks andsize is what i liked most about it.i am very happy with my choice.

(Spytan Trike 2nd generation)Lowest grade tires that you could possibly imagine maybe something comparable to what you would get at Walmart or something no offense to Walmart they might even have better tires but these are just the worst tires I've ever seen in my entire life. It came and it has Auto turn to the right so you can't even think about riding this thing no handed or you'll just be pulled right over. The fenders on the front just completely garbage and I put the lights on there like stupidly they just rattled loose. The seat broke on me and the seat clamp also broke on me. It came with some stupid box thing on it and I had to remove that because it would just collect liquids there are other debris just dumb. It comes as a foldable but I don't really see what good that would do it just doesn't really help in any way it probably just makes it more heavy if anything. Top speed is 15 mph. If you're going down a hill I don't know if it's because the auto turn or something but it just it just starts to like shake back and forth it's very scary you can't like really even take this thing over 22 mph. The grips on the bars were just absolute garbage I don't know what I think about those bars either they're just kind of weird looking I don't know about them. The thing comes with 16-in tire switches really weird to find trying to find 16-inch 3.0 & 4.0 tires is extremely difficult and I couldn't get them at that addmotor store or any bike shop in my town.I feel like getting this bike you are already expected to have to do a bunch of upgrades on to it to make it even reasonably rideable. It's just a very strange that so many parts on it were just so flawed and or damaged. Like the tubing on the inside where you put the flower the cat it's got like micro metal shavings like when I'm turning I'm just rubbing into the frame probably. And this is how it came completely how it came I haven't made a single alteration. Oh one other thing that's really annoying about it is the teeth on the crank arm and the teeth ratio on the back wheel are just really bad it doesn't allow you to like really put in any effort like you could be at a high pedal assist and you're not going to be able to crank your crank arms and actually put in any work it feels like you're just kind of spinning them around and not even having to pedal like you could be putting in work like you can't. Also it's extremely difficult to get through any door if you wanted to get it inside your house or something I have to grab it by the rack and twist it to the side anytime I want to get it in and out. I do like the way the frame is designed it kind of looks like it's got a low profile design to it so it keeps it more stable to the ground which is nice and I do like the three wheel look on it with the two in the front but it's just they just put two low quality of tires on there it's just there's no grip and grab at all. I cannot express how crappy those tires are they're just so bad. Like you could run over a blackberry Thorn and you're going to get a flat it's that bad. There's actually like a rack thing on the back I've actually I've never used it in my entire life I haven't had this thing more than a couple months. I don't know how many times I've told myself I'm totally done with this thing and I'm wanting to get rid of this headache. I can't believe they would leave their customers vulnerable and unprotected like that where they just have no protection on their tires at all that you can just get a flat and then you're just screwed like you can't push that thing back because then you're just going to run you a hold of your tire so it's like you got to be able to find some way to get a lift pick it up. I think the bad outweighs the good on this particular bike it definitely needs some suspension on it way too hard trying to ride that thing you hit like a bump... it's like ouch!

the company's customer service sux. they held up my order for potential fraud, which i appreciate, but after i verified the order and information nobody got back to me. sent 10 emails and finally called them and provided the docs they required and they still couldn't process the order so i cancelled it.

The worst customer support I have experienced besides Freesky. You call the CS line and they tell you to email CS support. I ask who they are and they say CS support. It's laughable until I look at my bank statement and see a purchase of $4,000. Bought a $4,000 cargo trike and it's falling apart on me. Throttle issues, electrical issues. No support. Showed up with missing pieces. They didn't replace them. We are now stuck with this bike and it was a total waste of money. Two weeks in, and I already have to change out the tires. Already worn down. This adds another $130 to the price tag. Do not buy from this company. The bikes are overpriced, and the accessories are cheap. LISTEN TO ME, IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUYING FROM THEM...DON'T!!!!!!

My father purchased a trike about 8 months ago and the experience, product and after care has been horrendous. Addmotor is not a reputable company. Their product is low quality, and they have no warranty (they say they do). I would say the company must be on the verge of shutting down as their customer experience is beyond terrible. The TRIKE didn't work after 4 months even though he rode it only a couple of times. We have contacted Addmotor for warranty, but no responses. The WORST Company!!!!

Bought a GrandTan M340, $3000 dollars and it didn't even last two years!!!! Their customer service is just as bad as their product. I sent them a video to help lock down the cause. They basically wanted me to replace every major component on the bike. They didn't even know how to troubleshoot their own product. They never let me know the price of the parts. BUYER BEWARE! I've been researching trikes for a couple years now and thought I had decided on AddMotor.com for my purchase. I've read great reviews on certain models of interest. Now I've read from the other 60% of the unhappy customers and have abruptly changed my mind. Sounds like a great company with unlucky management. What a shame!!

I bought a Grandtan turbo trike about 18 months ago. I have put about 3300 miles on it and might have been a big advocate for this company if they had ANY customer service. First is this trike will eat through chains and cassettes every 1200 miles or so. Not really that big a problem except they wont stock these parts and they often take 60 days or so to receive From China. I have had 2 brake handles and the seat break. Currently the motor has gone bad and its out of warranty, so another $800. Big problem they dont stock this, another 60 days my trike is a paperweight. There is no customer service. You cannot talk to them on the phone and emails for service often take 4 or 5 days to respond. I asked them to call…crickets. If I had a company selling $3500 e-bikes and someone said their motor was broken, I would have one in the mail that day. There is almost zero customer service and they simply don’t seem to care. Funny though, when you want to buy, they respond quickly. If you want a dependable ebike for daily rides, run dont walk away from this company as quickly as possible,

I bought a GRANDTAN TURBO Trike online from Addmotor. I had only ridden it twice and had 11 miles on it. Then I had to undergo cancer treatment and didn’t get to ride it for a while. When I did go back to ride it, it would not go. I contacted Addmotor and they said it was one month out of warranty and would do nothing for me. So I took it to an authorized dealer and repair service center. They checked it out and said that everything that is wrong with it is Addmotor defect. The dealer contacted Addmotor and they would do nothing to resolve the situation. I’m totally disgusted. I paid over $3500 for this trike and it won’t work. Addmotor sent me a defective trike and will not stand behind it. Their customer service sucks. Whatever you do, do not buy from Addmotor online. whatever you do don’t buy one of their trikes online.

I first Purchased the 310 CityTrike online at Addmotors website Its specs and price was better than competition. It arrives and was easy to assemble. I had a few annoying problems: Hand Break need Contant adjusting, had to shorten cable, Display freezes when battery is low or at +90 degrees, Seat till adjustment need constant adjustment, Will not start after unlocking hand brake. Giggling hand brake fixes problem, Battery will not start if less than half charged, must keep charged. This trike is unstable in any downhill turn, need wider wheelbase. Distances on a charge are about 1/2 what is claimed. I cannot see how any customer would be satisfied with this product!!!

I bought a cargo basket and zippered liner from addmotor. Two separate purchases on two different credit cards on two different days. The basket came first. It was a much smaller size than advertised. When I alerted them to their mistake the response was "thanks for letting us know". No offer was made to replace.Within several days I got fraud alerts from my credit card companies. The two cards I had used to purchase the basket and liner had been used in an attempt to purchase airbnb, Aero Mexico and concert tickets. One card was brand new and had very few purchases made on it. After the subtle but rude and completely unhelpful responses I got trying to get what I paid for, I was subjected to fraud.I'm 67 living on very little income. It seems apparent to me that someone in the addmotor company is a criminal, preying on old people and everyone who is unfortunate enough to try and do business with them.

I bought my first M-360 trike from add…
I bought my first M-360 trike from add motor, received it on time, finished putting it together( very simple as I am an leg amputee and had no problem), and really just fell in love with it. I weight 230 and put a pedal strap on pedal that I can use and was riding well right off the bat. This one was front wheel driven. The next year I ordered another for the cabin and when it came it was rear drive. I went on line to check it out and seen that now they had front forks with suspension as well. I had ordered mine a month too early. I contacted addmotor to see about this upgrade and they sold me the new front forks with the suspension for 50 bucks. I figured that covered shipping. I have only good things to say about addmotor and have found myself that if you want a response to anything just email and they have always got back to me. I rode two wheel motorcycles til I lost my leg and then I bought a trike motorcycle. You can not turn a trike or even ride a trike like a two wheeler. Yo will flip over. It's not the trike it's physics or/and rider. From experience! Directions say don't ride in the rain. Again, physics/rider. Be wise and enjoy the rides!

Bought my citytri e- 310 about the end of April by the middle of June trike is no longer working. So disappointing that a $2,000 trike doesn't last barely two months. Now it sits idle in my shed . I guess I'll see how good the warranty is. Don't have much Faith though cuz I've already bought and it's on its way another e-bike can't afford another trike. Buyer beware and good luck to you who decide to buy this trike.

Scott, the previous reviewer, is absolutely correct! This company is a sham with SCAMMERS! They had no problem immediately taking my $2000+ for their hypothetical new (but even now, yet to be released) SPYTAN Etrike that they said would be delivered shortly (that was months ago). After not hearing a peep from ADDMOTOR for weeks, I finally reached out and asked when would I receive my etrike. They said there was a delay that was not their fault, and the new etrike would be delivered mid- to late May. It's now late May, and still no etrike or a single communication from them. So, yesterday, I had to reached out again, find out where's my etrike. Now they say there is ANOTHER delay, and the etrike will not be delivered until mid-to late June. I asked, "Why the continual delays"? You won't believe this... but they actually said the delay was because of the "upgrade" they added to the new etrike - A WOODEN BOARD ON A FRONT BASKET FOR YOUR PET TO RIDE WITH YOU! I am not kidding! They had the audacity to tell me that all these etrikes that have already been purchased in-full MONTHS AGO (mine included) were delayed because the company decided to make this "upgrade". First, I didn't ask for the "upgrade" and do not want the "upgrade". Second, I didn't purchase this etrike with the "upgrade". I want the etrike I purchased. Third, I don't even own a dog that small to ride on my trike, and if I did, I would not think it very safe to do so. Yes, they have pictures of the new "upgraded" SPYTAN etrike on the website with the small pooch and the dog's leash tied to the etrike. Check it out for yourself! Does that really make sense? Would anyone really tie their dog's leash around a bike? Picture it. As an avid pet lover, I don't think there are too many good pet owners that would consider carrying their tiny pooch around on their etrikes on a wooden board with no front. Right, now front side to the basket. We care more about our own and dog's safety. This whole experience has been a debacle! I agree with Scott in that the company's "spokespeople" could be eBots. I used the Chat feature on the website (and have copies of all the "conversations") and the responses are vague, they do not use proper English, and only string you along, I guess, in hopes that you will eventually stop communicating because it is so frustrating. You cannot get an honest, straightforward response from them. Interestingly, they put new pictures on the website supporting their claim of this "upgrade". Do I believe they are doing this? Not a chance. I flat out asked if any of the SPYTANs have been delivered to a single person, and they said no. Maybe the next delay will be caused because of "Upgrade v. 2" which will be a wooden board in the back with an open-backed basket for your grandmother to ride with you, or a cheap plastic windshield to save the rider from bugs! But, I'll bet you it won't be things like needed side mirrors!I've strayed from the main point: Addmotor is untrustworthily, at best. I think they are THIEVES! Imagine all of the interest they are earning on all of the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars they have without producing a single SPYTAN for a customer. They will likely respond to our reviews in the same manner they did to the others that they could not find my order or don't have enough information to help. So, convenient for them. My guess is there are too many of us they've scammed that they need the excuse, and they hope others reading these reviews will think Addmotor is sincere. They are not. What I would like to do is 1) INFORM THE WORLD about this horrible company (that has an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau which another reviewer pointed out - oh, how I wish I had know that); 2) CONTACT THE CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE and file a complaint, and 3) get together with all of the other people that are still waiting on their etrikes and filed A CLASS-ACTION SUIT AGAINST ADDMOTOR! Is anyone willing to join me in trying to get the word out about this company? Does anyone know a news reporter that would like to carry the story? I'm pleased that a few reviewers had a good experience with Addmotor. Good for you. But, the rest of us are out money, a ride, and planned events with the Addmotor etrike we already bought. Add on all the frustration they caused and are causing, and the waste of time and money of decent, hardworking human beings with better things to do than try to track down where is the brand new etrike we purchased months ago! BUYER BEWARE OF ADDMOTOR! DON'T DO IT!

I wish i would have researched this company better. I got fooled by the YouTube reviews and forgot that they are being paid or receiving free products and discounts to say good things. Big mistake. I am currently in a dispute to try and get my money back. Seniors beware. Addmotor has NO customer service skills. And they don't care. Their replies are generic and might be auto generated responses. Their shipping statements are misleading and false. Once they receive your money its too late. Their stall tactics begin. Don't expect an explanation or apology. They have no problem lying about shipments. I now have to wait, who knows how long, to get my money back so i may purchase from a legitimate company....Hey Addmotor, Young people may say, "Oh well, i guess i will just have to wait."......Old people say, "YOU LIED. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Seniors beware.
