*****SCAMMER ALERT**********SCAMMER ALERT**********SCAMMER ALERT*****They come up with cheap price to attract the customer once you pay them the advance amount. They will show the true face. They will ask you additional amounts which would be double of what you agreed upon it.When you want to cancel, they will ask you for additional $200 on top of what you paid for advance.I should have trusted the lady below in the comment section who had gone through same situation.****SCAMMERS************
Trends Auto Ship LLC service was excellent! We were consistently informed about the transportation process. The driver was very professional, polite and took excellent care of our Corvette. I highly recommend Trends Auto Ship!
I have spoke the Jeff, Max, and another and they bait and switched me. They quoted me low at $950 then kept telling me it would be $1600 per car. I asked for the deposit back and they refused. Then because they knew I was looking for 2 more cars to be shipped without a contract they locked me on the federal driver search as having an order with them. I have called and asked for them to delete it as other companies are not supposed to work with you unless you are cleared from the previous. Beware of this company. They will also block your calls and they refuse to help you as well as try saying your helper is not in and they can not help you.
These people are the biggest liars and con artists! Quoted me a price and I signed a contract for $1025 to ship my vehicle. $200 up front, $825 to the driver upon delivery. A pick up date was set for 8/22. No show, they told me Friday, no show, Saturday, no show! They finally got ahold of me with and drivers name and number but the price is now $2400. No new contract was sent. At this point I had no choice! I had to catch my flight home on the 31st. However, I contacted the sheriff who had every intention of being there when the car was delivered and enforcing the initial contract. However, after meeting and speaking with the driver and telling him the story, he too was very angry! I assured him he would receive the payment that Trends told him he would. The driver was compassionate and this wasn’t his fault either. The very next morning after pick up Max from Trends called me and said he’d been in contact with the driver and he’s incurred some expenses with fuel and needs another $200 right away. I told him, sure hold on while I get my credit card. That made Max happy!!! What I really did was patch the driver into the call so we were all on the same page and filled him in on this additional $200 . The driver said “I don’t know anything about that”. Max quickly cut the call! I remained in contact with the driver. My car was delivered safe and sound. I received another call that morning after it had been delivered from Trends apologizing and then asked how much I paid the driver. I told him he needed to ask the driver. He again apologized. When you call them for a quote they will shmooz you and are so friendly but BUYER BEWARE!!
Their claims process was smooth and efficient. Trendsautoship stood behind their service. They got my car from point A to point B without a hitch.
If I could give 0 stars, I could, so I'm giving this company the gift of a single star. You're welcome, scammers! They offered to ship my car for $600 and I signed a contract for that, but it got jacked up 66% and when I said I'd rather cancel because now there was a material misrepresentation, they said there's a $200 cancellation fee.Think about it. This carrier is based in a private residence. And it was too new for bad reviews when I got it. That address and the phone number on file with DOT (not this one) is associated with a bunch of shell businesses, many of which have Trends in their name. One, based in VA, had a 1-star review for dishonesty. The owner should be imprisoned for many years.
Frank was very easy to deal with and worked hard to set up shipping 2 vehicles for me.
