Shot Tracker
This is like having my instructor with me at every training session. It is just amazing the amount of information, the quality of the information, the usefulness of the information. And on top of that, the service is amazing. We were having a hard time on a Saturday afternoon understanding How our VPN was affecting our connection to the device. Remember, this is a Saturday afternoon and Jim was back at us in a matter of minutes and he spent time with us. There is no reason to have any visual device other than the shot tracker. I'd have to write this 15 out of 10 is just that amazing and it is priced right the price point is perfect for what you get. So ease of set up, amount of information that's useful, customer support all outstanding. I would highly recommend this any reservation to anyone wants to approve their shit quickly.

Needs more development
I love the idea but it just frankly doesn’t work very well. I have close to 400 rounds through it and I’m more than a little disappointed. Its hit zone area is very large, during skeet it’s constantly telling me “good shot” even though I cleanly missed (yes I’m properly zeroed). Even telling the software that I’m using an extra full choke (when gun is really choked IM) the hit zone is too large. The auto zero function is very finicky and you’re better off doing it manually. Often doesn’t register the gun firing, even using a 12 gauge 1 1/8 oz loads I had to turn the sensitivity up so high that it often registers a shot when the gun is closing but still often will not register when the trigger is pulled. Often fails to detect the clay even in skeet (without a foggy lens, and blue sky). In sporting clays it’s only detecting 70% of clays at best. Seems to struggle with clays other than orange or clays around and beyond 30-35 yards. It also doesn’t really record videos more of slide show at a low quality resolution, usually won’t show the shot string. No obvious way to permanently save or share shots without paying for an extremely expensive subscription. During my first outing the lens fogged up on the inside hasn’t happened since. When it did worked as expected it was pretty cool. Just way too often it didn’t and it was frustrating.

Thanks for a great product
Thanks for a great product. Having used the camera devices this is surprisingly more helpful. All the analysis is essentially done for you and at a time when it's totally relevant in the moment. I'd give it six stars if I could.

Really Useful
As a new clay shooter I was frustrated at not knowing what I was doing wrong when I (frequently) missed the target. That all changed when I bought the Shot Tracker 18 months ago. It gives me near instant feedback and when I make the changes it suggests I hit clays I’d never hit before. And when I purchased a side-by-side the owner made me a clamp tailored to my gun. If you like using data to improve your skills I can highly recommend buying the Shot Tracker.

Best Training Aid
I've had this for 6 months and really love this system. It is the perfect tool for helping my grandchildren and polishing up on my skills. Support from the manufacturer is also excellent. I couldn't be happier.Chris MartinSan Marino, California

Highly recommended
We purchased shot tracker on Thursday, received it on Friday and just used it on Sunday for the first time. First round my son shot a 23 and with a few adjustments he shot a straight on his second round (trap) can’t wait to try this camera with some new shooters on our team. Having real time information is a big help and being a coach I believe it will help the kids a lot. Thanks for such a great tool.

Thank You Take Aim
Thank You Take Aim. You now have set the “gold Standard” in shooter feedback. I purchased my unit over a year ago and use it on a regular basis. Sporting Clays is the game I enjoy the most and the course varieties add a new dimension to the game. Two things separate this product from other training tools. First is the real time feedback with a correction factor. Many times, my group would come on a difficult station, and everybody struggled with a target. My teammates would offer advice on how to break the target, each well-meaning input was different and many times at odds with the others. With the Shot Tracker, there is no guessing. It gives you the needed correction. Three o’clock, two feet. My squad mates mean well, but many times they could not break the bird either. Second, this product and its designers are constantly soliciting user input and listening to your ideas and suggestions.Yes, the product is expensive. We all had a starting score and as we move up and try to be the best we can be each score improvement comes at a cost in time, effort, and money. Whether it be a new gun, lessons or just more shooting. As an engineer, I was willing to pay for accurate statistical feedback that allowed me to make corrections based on facts. Most of us have a regular group we shoot with. If cost is a barrier, let the group go together and buy one and share it. Changing over is quick and easy.Keep up the good work Take Aim

Great customer service for a great product
Shooting tomorrow morning with my new ShotTracker "coach on the barrel." Robert was gracious enough to bring it to my house and get me all set up. That's pretty great customer service. Went out to Elm Fork this morning. The ShotTracker performed flawlessly. I was concerned that I might not clearly understand the boresighting process, but had no problem completing that step in the setup. I was very impressed with the technology, particularly in that it confirmed what I had expected. I shot a mid-rib Caesar Guerini for several years had been advised the gun was set up 70/30, so shot high. When I got my new Blaser F3 a few months ago, I knew it would be a true 50/50 POI, but I still had the CG sight picture in my head. On birds that I missed today, and some that I broke, the ShotTracker confirmed I was low. ShotTracker allowed me to confidently adjust my sight picture, resulting in a marked increase in performance. Thanks again for bringing the unit to me. Great customer service for a great product. Marshall

OUTSTANDING Product
This is a truly outstanding product. I have owned various other cameras for my shotgun. This one is by far the best at tracking and helping you improve on various types of clay shooting (trap, 5 stand, sporting clays, skeet, etc.). The corrections it gives are incredibly accurate and helpful. The product works seamlessly with my Bluetooth hearing protection. The company is incredibly helpful and responsive to questions. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner. I highly recommend it without reservation.

First experience with SHOT TRACKER
I first heard about Take Aim's SHOT TRACKER for clay shooting games on Trap Talk on YouTube. After researching everything I could find, I had to have a Shot Tracker. Couple of days later UPS delivered it. I went to the club to set up and try it shooting Trap. Due to me being computer challenged, I called Take Aim for help. 10 minutes later Jim (one of the developers) called me back and walked me thru the wi fi hook up. Jim was not done and spent time with me going over the entire process! I shot a few rounds and saw EXACTLY why I missed, or could have done better. I went back to the club and set my O/U barrel for doubles and shot a few rounds and again figured out what I can do better. Shot an ATA shoot past weekend and did much better than I have been doing especially in Handicap and Doubles. In a couple of weeks I am going with a friend to try Sporting Clays with my Shot Tracker and will report back. This camera is light years ahead of anything else out there!
