Save your money - not as promised
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Story in Steel.After multiple rounds of correspondence, I carefully reviewed and approved a final proof that did not include their company logo. However, the product I received arrived with their logo added, which was not part of the approved design.In addition to the incorrect proof execution, the overall product quality was far below expectations. The craftsmanship and finish did not reflect the level of quality represented during the ordering process.I reached out several times to customer service to address both the unauthorized logo addition and the quality concerns. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response, nor was I offered a refund or replacement.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ordering from this company. I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution and ensure all details are clearly documented before purchasing.

While I opted not to pay for expedited service, the product showed up within the 15 day time frame. Both the approval picture they sent, and the actual delivered product turned out amazing. I will be looking for products from them.

I wanted to surprise my wife for Christmas. My wife Loves her Fur Baby's. I sent 9 photos of her Fur Baby's to Story In Steel. They organized them perfectly and put all their names at the bottom of the Art Work. It turned out better than I had expected, and my wife was very happy!!! Beautiful portrait of our dogs
Story in Steel transformed our favorite picture of our two dogs into a lovely steel portrait that we can now enjoy in our living room every day. Excellent quality. Shipped in a protective box. Overall, we are very pleased with the product. The one thing to think about it that it takes them a couple of weeks to produce, so you have to plan ahead (my gift was late, but all was forgiven when my wife saw the portrait ;-)

Great communication to make sure it was what I wanted, you guys changed things a couple of times on the picture to make sure I was satisfied and that it was 100 percent to my liking, did great with the picture, not a flaw on it, shipping was as said and on time, great job!!! I gave my wife this for our anniversary. It was a picture of us getting married on a beach in Tahiti and it turned out absolutely amazing. My wife absolutely loved it. I think it was probably one of the best gifts I have given her. So worth the money.

This story in steel is a picture of my deceased wife when she was young closing a clasp on her dress. I appreciate the artist signature but I suggest it would also be nice to give the option of having the photographer's signature at the bottom left. This is my second Story in Steel. They are well made, and quite sturdy. I like the new magnetic mount between the backing board and the steel image. The magnets are extremely strong. I also appreciate the wall brackets that are pre-installed. Again, thanks for the rendering.

Unfortunately, this company does not appear to value customer service. This was evident in the lack of follow-through and the quality of work that was initially guaranteed. Feedback was clearly provided; however, I was advised to spend additional money—albeit at a discounted rate—to correct the product. You will not receive the product in a timely manner either. The response and resolution ultimately fell short of expectations.

Very happy story in steel customer
I got a story in steel for my father-in-law for Christmas. It was a picture of him and my late mother-in-law dancing at my son‘s wedding. We had some missing pieces but they were quickly mailed to us and he absolutely loves it. I had a great experience with the order, the missing parts, and the finished product is excellent!

Great customer service from Story in Steel
One of the spacers on my Story in Steel picture had a flaw in it. This picture was a gift for Christmas. I sent a message to the email address provided. The response was very fast. I was asked to provide pictures of the flawed part. Once provided a whole new kit was sent immediately. Nolan was the representative I was dealing with and he was just awesome.

Unmet Expectations
Approved my proofs and it took over a month to recieve my order (even after paying extra for expedited shipping). Missed my deadline to give as a funeral gift. The metal finish is grossly misleading. Actual finish i received is light gray as oppose to metallic silver that is shown on all the pictures. Overall, I will not be using them again as the overall experience did not meet expectations.

I ordered a week before Thanksgiving (11/19), approved the design 11/20, and it is now 12/19 and I have not heard anything about my order nor have I received it. I have reached out 4 times; 1x via the the website, 2x via email, and 1x via FB messenger. The website still advertises you can order in time for Christmas. This is looking like a scam.

Misleading advertising
What a cool idea to take a photo and turn it into something unique. But here I am watching Story in steel post advertisements how you can still order in time for Christmas and I have yet to receive my order that was created just after Thanksgiving. Yes, the design itself wasn’t approved until December 2 because of a glitch on their part, but I paid for expedited service to name up for it, (it is a 5 to 15 day turnaround and I was well within their window, but still no product). There’s no way in heck this is gonna arrive in time for Christmas let alone all of those poor suckers who think that if they ordered just last week it would get there in time. Give yourself two months— that’s my advice or _order_from_somebody_else_.

Giant logo, no response
Ordered artwork in September, received in October. I had signed off on the design concept because I was unaware that the logo for the company features prominently on the front of the artwork and it is not able to be covered. I posted a negative review stating I was not happy with the product and received a personal communication through text from "Jumz" stating they would make it right. They have since stopped responding completely. It is now December.
