I love the podcasts! It’s a good combination of grammar tips, personal stories and travel. I’m an intermediate speaker and can easily understand Andrea even when she speaks quickly. The grammar tips videos are short but target areas of Spanish that are sticky places for non-native speakers. I have also done the book club twice, which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend starting with the podcasts and go from there
First of all I have participated in many of the Spanishland activities. I began with their online intensive language program ( intermediate and advanced), and continued with their in perso immersion programs. What makes their program special? Attention to detail and multiple activities to assit you in your learning journey. And if I had a problem with anything. Always received an answer and solution within a reasonable time period. As far as their immersion programs go, they are the best - bar none. The variety in activities, the host families, qnd the guides. The classes are small and personalized and the host families make you feel welcome and part of the family.I have been on 2 so, far and plan to return. In summary, the Spanishland program is well worth your time. You will not be dissapointed.
I have been a Spanishland member, travelled to Medellin with Spanishland, and am currently working with a Spanishland tutor. Each experience has been fabulous! Andrea and her team really know how to teach effectively.
Out of the many, many YouTube sites that teach Spanish, this is by far the best. Andrea's explanations are so clear with clear captions and helpful follow-up questions. She makes even the complicated rules of grammar understandable and Nate's contributions are so identifiable with!
I have been following and learning from Spanishland School and Españolistos for several years. I love the combination of videos on grammar and vocabulary as well as natural conversations. I also receive the weekly newsletter which is incredibly helpful. Andrea is an excellent teacher and everyone at Spanishland is courteous, welcoming and professional. I only wish they were close by so I could learn and be with them in person. They are lovely people, great at what they do and feel like family.
What I like most about Spanisch Land is the quality of the podcasts, how easy they are to listen to, Andrea and Nate's cheerful personalities, and the fact that you always learn a lot. I also like the “Cita de la Semana” (Quote of the Week), the new expressions, and the little historical tidbits. I highly recommend it.
Everything about SpanishLand school is excellent! The podcast, the membership, the classes and the inmersión program. I enjoy the podcast for both the learning episodes and interviews. Eventually I became a member and now I have attended their immersion program in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Every experience has improved my Spanish and is now a reliable part of my daily learning routine. Thanks SpanishLand!

I highly recommend Spanishland School. I've been listening to their podcasts and watching their YouTube videos for several years. I have learned a ton from the resources they share. I went on a 2-week immersion trip with them this year, and it was exactly as described. I was 100% immersed in the language, experienced great classes and excursions, and had an amazing time. My fluency improved noticeably just in that time.
I'm delighted I found Spanishland. The lessons are so helpful. I've learned vocabulary from everyday life. The videos are quick and to the point. I enjoy the way the material is presented. And I like testing my Spanish knowledge against Nate's!

this (free) Course is a good entry point. In clear words you will receive a lot of infos about active listening. It is very good, i recommend it!
easy to use and understand
Andrea and Nate make learning Spanish fun. I've been listening to their podcasts for the past 3 years. I was a member of Spanishland school for about a year a couple years ago and last year I joined their book club for a reading of Como Agua Para Chocolate. Everything was a fantastic experience. Andrea teaches Spanish in a fun manner and it's perfect for English speakers as everything is also translated into English. Highly recommended.
