Great Clothes
I was hoping to find a rental service that actually had great stuff. Everything seems super brand new. My past few items have still had the tags on.

The clothes you receiveeceive are extremely high quality.
Great clothes but I wish more were available when I’m looking
The system and website are efficient. The variety in clothing is very good but sometimes hard to get the actual pieces in a large.
So far good customer service. Would appreciate more sizes/options available. Also, reviews would be helpful from people who have already rented the garments to help with sizing.
I receive many compliments on the clothing.
Only service for men where you get to pick your own clothes (vs a stylist)Great variety and availability!
It takes too long from placing the order to receiving the item — it takes 7 days
Great selection and easy, fast shipping!
I signed up for Rent With Thred’s Explorer subscription to try the service, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.Over two months, I was never able to rent a single item. The pieces I liked were never available in my size, despite adding multiple items to my wishlist and enabling email notifications. I never received any alerts that items had become available, and no rentals were ever shipped to me.Despite this, I was charged for two full months of the subscription, totaling around $200. When I contacted customer support to explain that I had never received or rented anything, I was told that refunds were not possible due to their Terms of Service and that my only option was store credit. There's no point of receiving store credit, when I was unable to use the store credit during the first two months of the subscription. I understand subscription models, but I think it’s reasonable to expect some ability to actually use a service you’re paying for. In this case, lack of size availability made the service effectively unusable, and customer support was unhelpful, dismissive, and unresponsive. The concept behind Rent With Thred is interesting, but potential customers should be aware that availability issues and a strict no-refund policy may leave you paying for months without receiving any items.
I would appreciate a few more size options, the option for more than one package a month, and a bag or box for returning items
Like the concept but there isn't as much availability for items as I would like. I also wish I could return some items while keeping others.
I love being able to choose my own items. The quality of the items were great.
The pieces you have in inventory are pretty cool.
My interactions with the company’s leadership/support are why I’m writing this. Their tone was curt and dismissive, and their position changed mid-conversation—first saying the $29.99 “crate” fee could be refunded, then later claiming none of the charges were refundable and threatening to refuse service. That attitude overshadowed what were otherwise solid clothing picks. What happened (I saved screenshots):- I joined after a promo that said “Unlock subscription discounts” and an Elite crate showing “15–20% off RwT subscription.” After clicking through, the page showed “GUARANTEED MINIMUM: 15% off RwT subscription + entry into our loyalty program” and “All discounts are stackable.” There was no “first month only / one charge only” disclosure at the time I purchased.- I paid $29.99 for a crate and received a one-time $25.80 credit (net –$4.19) while being told I’d unlocked subscription discounts.- I raised the issue before month-2 billing and then waited a week with no resolution. Despite that, they charged $142.55 for the second month, which I didn’t use (I’d only had one shipment and returned it). They refused to refund it.- After I complained, the webpage was edited to add “(first or next month)” next to “15% off RwT subscription”—language that wasn’t there when I bought.Bottom line (my opinion): good clothes, but ambiguous promos, slow responses, and a defensive stance from ownership. Refusing to refund either the crate or an unused second month felt needlessly greedy and left me concerned about how the business is being run. I canceled and disputed the second charge with my card issuer. If you try them anyway: screenshot every promo screen and don’t assume “subscription discount” means recurring unless it explicitly says so.
Love the clothes and the selection and how easy it is to browse. Just a bummer when the items I want aren’t available!
I’ve been renting my clothes for 3+ years and I stumbled across Thred when my previous rental service shut down. I have not been disappointed - the choice of garments and the service are second to none for the price.
Loved the clothes. It’s tough to know how things will fit, specifically pants. I think it would be helpful if customers or your staff could leave provide how pieces fit compared to true to size. Ordered 2 pairs of pants in the same size. One fits perfectly and the other is not close to fitting.
Thred consistenyly strives to provide the best service and it shows. THey have helped me with several matters and I have always felt satisfied with the outcome. I am proud to be a member of the Thred community.
I love this service. Fast shipping and easy returns. A great addition to my wardrobe!
