The person who was supposed to oversee my project went on vacation. The person who was supposed to take it over didn't. At least, that was what I was told. The second person assigned to me couldn't guarantee a publication date. Even after it was published, there were problems. The company couldn't get the text right on listings with online distributors. Palmetto - like the nasty roaches their company is named for - is best avoided.
I would not have published without Palmetto! It was a straight forward experience. I did not know what I was doing...like at all but Palmetto made it happen! The book, The Lazy SEAL is all about doing things the "easy way" if that sounds like you and you have a book to self-publish, Palmetto is for you.

I usually do not write reviews, but felt this experience should be shared. I published invisible, with Palmetto in 2023 and it was good. Here it is 2026 and we just finished Roses are Red and it is amazing!!!It started off with speaking with Nicole Jock who explains the different packages, details and costs. Then I started working with Ryan Mace (project manager) who was beyond patient. Ryan said, “We will work on your book until it is the way you want it.” He set up several zoom meetings and reviewed many pages of edits. There were times I did not remember what I was trying to correct and Ryan knew. When I called he called me by name as if we were long-time friends. There were challenges, but we worked through them and the book is fantabulous! Nicole assured me that this experience would be great and it was! Thank you for showing up and showing out Palmetto Publishing.

I was genuinely excited to partner with Palmetto Publishing to bring my book project to life. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly diminished due to ongoing issues with communication, inconsistencies in execution, and repeated instances where directions were not followed carefully. At times, the work felt rushed or minimal in effort, which made it difficult to maintain confidence in the overall process.I do want to acknowledge that I received great customer, and things were handled promptly and professionally whenever issues were raised. I appreciate the responsiveness and courtesy shown in resolving specific incidents. However, the frequency of errors and the need for repeated corrections ultimately impacted my trust in Palmetto’s ability to carry out the project with the level of care and precision I had hoped for.While I am thankful for the professionalism shown in addressing concerns, the overall experience dampened what should have been a joyful publishing journey.

I love the way all of the persons assigned to assist with my book publication kept me informed throughout the process. When I had a question, they were available in a timely manner.
