My beloved cat Felix had been unwell for a while, but when he took a serious turn for the worse it was over the weekend, and my normal vets were closed. Despite not being a patient at Nine Mile Veterinary Group, they agreed that I could take him there to have him assessed, and put to sleep.They were kind and compassionate from our first contact over the phone, and Ms Slaymaker really helped me through the whole procedure. We were given plenty of time to say our goodbyes to him, and he/we were checked regularly. Nothing was rushed, and Felix was put first every step of the way.Whilst most of that day is a blur to me, the only thing I really remember is the way we were looked after, and it truly made a difference. I still treasure the card with the nose and paw print. Thank you soooo much.
