Ask for Kristina, Excellent
We have been going to Kristina for several years now. She always takes the time to listen to what we want, makes thoughtful suggestions and does excellent work. She is kind and genuine. The salon has an excellent atmosphere that is inviting and relaxing. We pass through several towns to get to this gem and it is definitely worth it. You won’t be disappointed!

The best hairstylist Kristina!
I've gone to a hairstylist Kristina for a number of years. She does an expert job in cutting hair. Kristina is very friendly and personable, and she knows what hairstyle and color that will look best on you! And if you have a style in mind or in a picture in the magazine, she does a terrific job of matching that style for you. Everyone I know, my friends and my family always love my hairstyle. My sister has been Kristina’s client for past 11 years as well. So if you want a great hairstylist, go to Kristina! You won't be disappointed!

Kristina is an artist when it comes to hair care. She is very knowledgeable and a professional in her field. She colored and cut my hair. She is a perfectionist and very passionate. She also did hair extensions. I love the way they look. Since I moved to Chicago I’ve been looking for a hair stylist and I came across Kristina by looking at some reviews. I’m so glad I found her.

Perfect combination of professional and artist
It’s crazy to believe I’ve been going to Kristina for a cut and color for over 20 years now! She has always been the only hair stylist I’ve ever trusted to do my hair to perfection. It’s been amazing being with her on her journey to becoming the wonderful artist she is today. Even when I come in not knowing exactly what I want, her creativity and new ideas always come together giving you a perfect and modern new look. Every time I leave her salon I feel like a new, beautiful, and refreshed person. I can’t count how many times people have stopped and asked me who does my hair! Wherever Kristina goes, I will be following!!! She is the perfect combination of professional and artist. And on top of all that, she is the sweetest and most genuine soul you will ever meet! I would not and could not recommend anyone else!

No one else makes my hair look like Kristina does!!
Kristina makes my hair look better than ANY stylist I’ve ever tried before. I found her back in 2015 and she did my hair for about a year before I moved away from the area. For years I searched for a stylist and never went to anyone consistently because no one could make my hair look the way Kristina did! I moved back to the area last month and HAD to give Kristina a call, and she was able to get me in the next week and it’s a HUGE RELIEF to feel confident in my hair again! Kristina is the absolute sweetest and she seriously has this VISION about how to make your hair look good. I feel like other stylists don’t take into account my texture and shape, but Kristina’s cuts and colors always fit me uniquely. And she actually cares about how you look and feel about your hair and prioritizes making it healthy- she makes great product recommendations. My hair only ever feels this great and healthy after seeing Kristina. Honestly I can’t recommend her enough!

Kristina did an amazing job with my hair. First she removed my extensions gently then gave me a wash! She cut my hair fit best to my head shape. This is my favorite haircut by far! She was very friendly throughout which made conversation fun! I will for sure be going back for my next haircut.

I've always loved the color that Kristina has given me.
I've always loved the color that Kristina has given me. We've tried a couple of different ones and they've been very complimentary. Complete strangers stop me on the street to ask me where I get my hair done. She takes great care to ensure that my hair is properly conditioned so that the color will take, instructing me as to what I can do at home to help that along. Kristina has a wonderfully engaging personality and I love her smile and positive attitude.

Kristina Kaczmark from Modern & Zest Haircoloring and Extensions is a hair goddess and fairy godmother all in one. If you are looking for someone who will push your boundaries and keeps your essence in a gorgeous way, she is your girl. When I first started seeing her, I started out as a mousy bland brown who wanted to change it up. Everyone told me I could not do red hair color, but when I mentioned it to her, she was game and I became a fiery redhead. This was ten years ago. Since that time, I have experimented and changed from blonde bombshell haircoloring back to vixen red haircolors. Every single appointment is a consultation about how to do the hair and what will be the best look. Earlier this year, when I went to red haircolor and thought about going back to blonde, she and I had a conversation about how that might not be the best for my hair and we mutually decided to keep it at an awesome red color. My hair consistently has the rocking look that embraces my individuality. Through up and coming technologies and techniques, I always get a look that represents the best part of me. My hair loves Kristina
My hair loves Kristina! I've been going to Kristina for 15 years; I've never had a hair dresser for so long! She takes excellent care of my hair, which on a good day is difficult to tame. From the very beginning of my appointment where we sit down to discuss cut/color ideas for my hair to the last finishing touches, Kristina is always a glowing ball of warm energy and the constant perfectionist to make sure I look and feel amazing. The product she uses makes my hair feel so soft and healthy and she always has great styling tips and quality products to purchase to keep my hair feeling that way when I get home and have to take care of it myself. I will continue to be a client for as long as she's in business which hopefully will be for a very long time.

Kristina Saved My Hair - It looks great now.
Kristina take a holistic approach to creating and maintaining your hair color, cut and style. She first asks what you would envision, and after a short discussion with you, she works to make it happen. When she cuts my hair, she takes into consideration the shape of my head, how my hair lies, and the condition of my hair, and addresses anything that needs to be changed, like the hair products I am using. My hair used to be brittle and she has transformed my hair to a soft mane of hair. Before I started with Kristina, my hair was falling out. I was trying minoxidil to reverse it, but it was getting worse. She suggested that I discontinue using it, and offered suggestions on products that could restore my hair. Now my hair is much more healthy, shiny and soft. The glaze she uses on my hair makes my hair feel like fine silk.Need extensions? Although most people get extensions for length, I had Kristina put in extensions to make my hair look thicker. She dyed them to match my hair, installed them and cut them to my desired length. No one guessed my secret. They just commented that my hair looked thick and beautiful.As for Kristina herself, she is a very kind, respectful person. She genuinely cares about each of her clients, and it shows. Every time a client walks through the door, it's smiles all around. We love to go to Kristina for all of our hair needs.

Kristina is GREAT....no AWESOME!!! It is quite rare for me to stick to one stylist, simply because it's hard for me to find one that cuts/colors my hair the way I like it or that understands my lingo when I'm trying to explain to them what is going on with my hair as it is growing out. Kristina GETS ME. She really knows her stuff and provides you with a customized experience...and I use the word "experience" very deliberately. She does a great job of listening to what you want and adding her extensive knowledge and experience to provide a terrific end result. She is half stylist, half therapist, half scientist...wait how many halves are those...? My point is, if you are looking for someone truly invested in her work and her clients, Kristina is the one. I cannot recommend her enough!!!!

Kristina is a literal hair genius! Every time I feel like I want a total transformation- I know just who to go to- always Kristina. Not only is she an incredibly talented artist with color and cut but she is also one of the most kind, sweet and sincere people I have ever met. If you are looking for someone who is truly an expert at cut, color or extensions stop looking any further and just make an appointment with Kristina. Trust me. I have literally been stopped multiple times on the street and told by strangers how much they love my hair. And that is all because of Kristina!
