My experience was great!
My experience was great. I really didn't know what to expect since this was my first publication. The Marketing Team was exceptional and I am ecstatic to say my book is on its way to publishing. I plan to use Milford Publishing for future publications.

DO NOT USE MILFORD PUBLISHERS
DO NOT USE MILFORD PUBLISHERS: Checked AI on them and backtraced their phone numbers to a scam. I am a retired detective. They are Not Legit and they have their own people fake positive reviews. They took my money, they were several weeks behind schedule and could not get my eBook right. The lied about what could be done. Robert Garcia is likely a fake name because his accent is not Hispanic. He tried to say the work was done, but it was not. Then he got hostile, insulting and hung up the phone on me. I have proof that he was wrong, uninformed and/or lied at least 7 times.

My experience with Milford Publishers was very good from start to finish. Their team truly listened to me as an author and made sure my voice and vision were respected throughout the entire process.I was especially pleased with the editing, cover design, and formatting—everything was handled with care and attention to detail. AVOID MILFORD PUBLISHERS - Paid in full, zero results, and unprofessional staff.I am writing this to warn other authors to stay far away from Milford Publishers. I submitted my manuscript in November 2025 and paid their fees in full. Since then, it has been a nightmare of neglect and unprofessionalism.Initially, I was assigned to Chris Jordan, who proved to be completely untrustworthy. I was then moved to Robert Garcia, who is not only unhelpful but remarkably uncivilized and dismissive in his communication.As of February 12, 2026, my book is still not published. They have my money, but they have provided no timeline, no progress, and zero accountability. This isn’t a publishing house; it’s a black hole for your hard-earned money and your creative work. Save yourself the stress—publish elsewhere.

One-Star Review – Avoid This Company
I strongly advise against using Milford Publishers.I paid a total of $3,000 for publishing services. After ongoing delays and failures to deliver what was promised, I am now attempting to recover $1,000 from that amount due to nonperformance and breach of agreement.Key issues:A website promised as part of the package was never completedNo release schedule was provided for the nine (9) books submitted under contractIt took over three months to publish only two books, and those books were not part of the nine covered under the agreementEditing and formatting did not follow the guidelines I approved, including:Chapters not starting on new pages as instructedRemoval of approved stylistic elementsAlteration of my intentional slang and creative voice without consentWhen I formally requested a refund and contract termination due to these failures, the project manager asked me to give the company “another chance.” After I declined and contacted their general and marketing emails, my emails were blocked, and they refused to communicate by phone.Blocking a paying client rather than resolving legitimate concerns is unprofessional and unacceptable.Based on my experience, this company:Fails to deliver promised servicesDelays projects for monthsRequests additional money without completing prior obligationsCuts off communication when held accountableI am currently pursuing this matter through consumer protection and dispute resolution channels. I strongly recommend that authors research carefully and proceed with extreme caution before engaging with this company.

I had a fairly good experience. Though I would advise you to check and recheck your manuscript as sometimes text can change, fonts can change and information can be deleted in the process. Overall, Chris was great! And easy to work with. Perhaps I will work with them again. Thank you, Chris.

Incompetence personnified
Milford Publishers simply could not get their act together in editing, formatting and publishing my book. Every time they attempt to do so they introduce new errors and variations from the original. They are not equipped to handle books that have illustrations and layers of text types and summaries etc. They come through as mediocre at best and are a bunch of incompetent individuals who do not understand professional publishing.

I recently worked with Milford Publishers to self-publish my book, Way Back Home: The Rediscovery, on Amazon and Kindle. My project manager, Mr. Williams, guided me through formatting, proofreading, and the uploading process.The timeline, however, was much longer than originally communicated. What was expected to take 20–25 days ended up taking over two months, and I often had to follow up multiple times to ensure the work moved forward.Despite the delays, I appreciate that the final outcome was completed successfully. I am happy to see my book published, and I sincerely thank Mr. Williams for his patience, support, and efforts throughout this journey.

Working with the company has less than I expected.
Working with the company has been a fair overall experience however, the work that was done on the video book with happy cakes I was not blown away with the results thank you so much for being also the timing that was expected for the work to be completed for all three books was not completed in the timeframe that we had discussed or I had expected overall, the final product has been acceptable, but not exceptional
