Hospital prefers Pets to Kids for Psychological Support....
It is quite amazing to see that a cancer patient’s kids (under 12) are not allowed in the hospital but a pet/dog is. Since when kids are not a critical psychological support to a cancer patient? Since when dogs don’t carry bugs, bacterias, viruses that can cause minor infections to serious illnesses (source: CDC)?This rule is absolute nonsense and totally detrimental to the health of cancer patients.
