I’m renting a room in Brooklyn and overall I’ve had a good experience. The price is reasonable for the area, and the location works really well for me. They considered my main requirements when helping me choose the room, which I appreciated. Thank you, Nelly, for the assistance and smooth process.

A reliable way to rent a short-term furnished apt with some things to know

June homes made it relatively easy to rent a short-term furnished apartment. It's good for someone who is moving to a new city to get a place without the guess work of organizing something with roommates or sublets. I had a good experience overall, however, there are a few things to be aware of:- I rented a furnished room, but it was unfurnished on my move in day. I called the customer service number since it was late at night, and managed to talk to a local rep, but had to wait several hours for him to speak to his manager. They gave me a small fixed amount for a hotel room for a couple nights before they could furnish my room.- The details about the place on their website is not exactly accurate to the real location, not in catastrophic ways, but for example the dumpsters for the buildings were not located where their website or custom service rep said. The images of the rooms are renderings, rather than actual photos.- But overall, the customer service system was responsive and helpful, so if I had to look for a short term furnished place again I would still consider using June.

For starters I had great roommates not one thing of mines went missing and so I’m glad about that but honestly I felt as though the prices was way too high I wasn’t really at the apartment and I had to over spend because of my roommate’s use of gas and electricity, it started a bit rough because the room I originally wanted was given away but the fact that I stayed in Harlem was nice and I ended up really liking the room thank you June homes

Sublet Review

I rented a room through June Homes for four months and it was great! The apartment was clean and it was easy to make payments and move in and out. I got along well with my roommates and never had an issues with them using my things. If I had any issues with the apartment I could submit a ticket through there app and they would get back to me in a timely manner. June Homes makes subletting easy, I would definitely recommend.

June Homes - A great housing partner

June Homes has been a great housing partner throughout my stay. Their customer service is responsive and professional, and even though I encountered very few issues, any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and efficiently. That level of support provided real peace of mind.As this was my first experience renting a place, June Homes made the process smooth and stress-free. Overall, it has been a very positive experience, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and well-managed rental option.

Avoid if possible

Like many others I’ve had a terrible experience with this company. On my first day, I was greeted with a flood and standing water in a light fixture in the living space. No notice from them whatsoever even though my roommate reported it prior to my arrival. When I complained they said floods happen when it rains and refused to offer reasonable compensation by blaming the building management even though you really only have to do with June Homes, not the building management. Only use as a very last resort and be on your guard. They try to nickel and dime you at every turn and only do the bare minimum, if you can call it that.

Unsafe, unresponsive, illegal charges - AVOID

I’m sharing this so future tenants are aware and can make an informed decisionRented with June Homes in NYC and had a terrible experience. Had to emergency-relocate due to roommate harassment (NYPD report filed) and discovering a camera device in the apartment. June Homes ignored emails, closed tickets without investigation, and refused to reimburse documented emergency costs they initially said would be covered.Later, during major repairs, they provided inadequate relocation support, unplugged my fridge without notice (food spoiled), left heavy dust/chemicals, and created unsafe conditions. The floor was left unfixed; with a huge hole; making the place unlivable due to mold spreading and insects invading from the basementThey then became unresponsive again, asked for last-minute info, and denied reimbursement while making false accusations and improper charge threats.I have everything documented officially with evidence and proofs for legal purposes Pattern throughout: slow or no responses, broken promises, and denial of responsibility. Filed small claims court... Response to June homes: My last email was sent on January 8 and has now gone ignored for 11+ days.June Homes can locate your account and respond when it involved lease signing, payments, or charges -- and they start ignoring emails when I raised safety concerns, emergency relocation, and damages caused during repairs. Even though costs were initially confirmed to be reimbursed in writing and they never got resolved - instead they made unlawful financial threats!
