Customer service was outstanding. Cathi was very helpful and had a great attitude.
Storage Companies that are part of a chain tend to change their names like babies change diapers. And their rates.My10X15 began, five years ago, at under $200. Oddly, this is the same rate displayed on the NSA Storage web site today. (NSA owns several Storage Units brands)Well, each year my rent increased at random times. I came to dread getting mail from them. But generally they were asking 10% to 20% more. Not a huge deal. But last week my rate soared from under $300 to just under $400!Why so much for an established renter when a new customer can rent for much less?I highly recommend you don't rent with any chain. It may take some work, but find a Storage Unit company that has one location, where the actual owner is accessible.I just rented a replacement unit for $210 instead of $392.24. From a nearly new facility, climate controlled, enclosed loading area, and bathroom as well. The rate is guaranteed for a year, and is also guaranteed to increase no more than 5% each year. And no commitment. So, there are facilities out there that won't distress you, and do not look to take advantage. As I suggested, beware of any that boast to be chains.
Friendly service,great prices,clean facility.
Offered the “first month free” promotion… never received it.A rodent destroyed my property… their insurance refused to cover it. After only seven weeks… they raised my monthly rate by $50.00. Take your business elsewhere.
Susan and Jamie are the greatest!! They storage facility is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I will definitely be recommending this to all my family and friends! Thank you for making our experience smooth!!
Recently rented space here. I was a little hesitant to keep it. The ladies who work in the office are nice, the dark haired lady was helpful & feiendly. The blond haired lady was a bit rude when she answered our questions, we also heard her yelling at someone else in one of the hallways, very unprofessional. All in all, we decided to keep the space since we already have our inventory unloaded. Prices and cleanliness are comparable to other facilities we use in other parts of the twin cities. This is our first time using IStorage.
The woman who works at the Hiawatha facility is extremely rude and unpleasant (the man is nice). The cart checkout process is awful and the carts are of poor quality. The facility is dirty and dark. The posted office hours are not accurate, as they are sometimes closed during posted open times. I would never use this facility again and would advise everyone to look elsewhere.
Patti , the manager in Englewood, FL. is efficient and friendly. She explained everything and showed me how to operate the keypads for access
CLINTON TOWBSHIP ROMEO PLANK. GRAVEL DIRT POOR UPKEEP AND A STRANGE WOMAN ON HER GOLF CART FOLLOWING US AROUND PASSIVE AGTESSIVELY. WE WERE SERVEF TERM OF LEASE, NO NOTICE, AND WE ARE PAID THROUGH THE 14TH OF AUGUST. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE AND SHOES CLEAN, IT WON'T HAPPEN HERE. POTHOLES AND BROKEN RUSTY LOCKS . SHE CARED MORE ABOUT CIGARETTE BUTTS THAN FIXING THE UNITS AND ROADS. OTHER PLACES ARE CHEAPER. REFUSED TO PRORATE THE 9 EXTRA DAYS PAID. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I won a storage unit at this iStorage3601 Hiawatha Ave Minneapolis, MN 55406-2527. I was disappointed with what an employee or someone of authority had done to the stuff in this unit. They took the time and individually wrapped the empty boxes of trash for resale. It was clearly Staged by someone that had been in there already. The unit was already opened with the lock and a load of trash was left wrapped as if it was actual items. No one is going to rent a unit for empty boxes of things and wrap them with garbage black bags. Dead give away was a male worker in the office that mentioned to me when I got there to pick up this unit "how someone would pay so much for this kind of unit." He knew something I didn't. Anyways I lost on this unit and they lost a customer. I would not bid on any units at this place again. I felt scammed.
Been customers for 7 years. This place is a DUMP. Where do i start? A 10x20 is actually 9'x18'. Within 2 years the 295/mo became 550/month. Climate controlled? Haha. Humid as hell, warm during the summer, freezing in the winter. Our unit has been leaked on (rain water) since we notified them 5 months ago. The doors often don't close; our main door has been basically open for months now. The main gate was out for many months late last year and early this year.
I was on Autopay and NEVER paid late but was illegally removed from the contract, not only was I not there, but without my knowledge one day prior to me finding out AN EMPLOYEE of MY COMPANY set the storage in his name and she apparently added me as an authorized user?? What? I AM PAYING THE BILL!! Not only this but I had to call the police just to get My companies new appliances to my warehouse, and it was pouring rain. Show the police my transactions and they let me get my brand new appliances ($40k) out of the storage. Christian is the manager at the Webster Tx Istorage. Saturday this all happened, Sunday She moves my refrigerator and a $5k 72” Sauna Jet Pool to another storage. She made me pay another deposit for the same unit I paid for a week prior, tells my customers that I was evicted on video tape! Same guy, the next day, has a person down from Dallas to purchase some items he had, and he had a red lock. HE HAS BEVER PAID LATE ONCE EITHER!! WTH this manager was not even there and he had to call the police. And because the sister was managing for her, she didn’t know how to see if the lock was put on fraudulently?? So many people coming forward, after these 2 episodes. Christian and her WHOLE family that works there are running a big scam so Ive hired a lawyer, see you in court. Oh & She raise me my rent 2 weeks after I signed the contract letter and then sent me letter saying I REQUESTED to move out the damn day I had to move out! If I wouldn’t have checked yhe mail, she would have stole everything in my business’ 15x30’ storage full of appliances. So instead of fulfilling the 20 orders I had to get done that day, I was moving out. THE FAMILY MANAGING IS HORRIBLE! First time EVER having an issue with a storage facility. BEWARE
The worse storage facility ever. Rate increase in rates as I see from others after only 60 days at a rate from 165. to 225. customer service will not do anything about it either. No lease agreement for any extended period of time. Thus allowing them to increase your rate to anything they want. Took me 3 days to move items into the unit due to installing portable shelves in unit. Now Im screwed. My stuff is not worth the extended period of rent.
No different from all the other nationally run storage unit companies. Will drastically increase the rates every 3 months, despite emails from local office when first moving in implying that rate increases are set by the corporate office and the local office should be able to work with you to not increase rates. Three months after moving in the rate increased by nearly 40% and is almost double what the same size units are currently renting for. The only option given is to move into an identical unit to restart that base price (which they noted would "of course it will be scheduled for another Rental Rate Increase in 90 days."
I was working here for six and a half years. A new call center ter manager by the name of Amber who took over and doesn't even know how to do her job. Worse place ever to work at, so I wss having trouble with their equipment I was using at home to do my job was klt working call ce te manager messaged was talking to me in any way she wanted. She called me yelling at me like she was sone body when she is not. So I went to go tell HR Kristie and told her what was happening even with some leads and told her I am telling you this what is happening about the yelling and I am scared I will get retaliated and losing my job. So Kristie sets up a meeting with Amber and then they say I am terminated because I caused a hostil work place but how if I work at home makes no sense. After telling her I don't want to be retailed against this was wrongful termination.
I have only ever had 1 great interaction with this company and that was with Nichole at the Fairview Location in Carson. Other than her the customer service has been rude. They really know how to make you only feel like a dollar sign. They dont allow for partial payments, they dont allow you to pay short term. You either pay in full or risk losing your entire life because your struggling. Their regional management team is a joke. Never called me back when i was told they would. If someone is at least trying to make any kind of payment you should be willing to take it and not put their stuff up for auction. Never getting a unit from them again in my life.
Overland Park iStorage on 125th street. AVOID AT ALL COSTSWe rented a unit and it flooded -- either leak in roof or leak of their AC unit. WAter cascaded down back wall and pooled on the floor. We lost thousands of $ worth of furniture. They took no responsibility and told us to 'file a claim with our homeowners insurance". They told us we didn't take out THEIR insurance. There is an unspoken contract that we would pay them for storage and in return would have usage of a secure, DRY unit. TERRIBLE - DO NOT USE
I had a great experience in the 5 months that I rentedthree units at their Dry Creek Gap store in Knoxville. Tn.(37018). The property manger, Mike Kuffner, did anEXCELLENT job in all aspects of the business for me.I would highly recommend company and especially Mike Kuffner giving them both a 10+ out of 10 !!!
Went there they gave my storage unit to someone else when we had a full load and there was a lock on it. We didn’t know what to do . Then they went up on the rates without letting us know! I don’t recommend this storage place at all!
