I had an OK experience
I had an OK experience. The entire process was a bit confusing and to get a hold of the person charge take a while and relisting the house also took a while so with everything said. I wish things would’ve moved more efficiently throughout the process and I was hoping more of updating info in my inbox. Box will be a lot hopeful to see where we are at in the process. I feel like it’s just a waiting game the whole time.

Homeward is a HORRIBLE company they are…
Homeward is a HORRIBLE company they are scammers. They tell you they will give you a certain amount when your house is sold then tell you they had to spend more money after the fact. I want to get all who have been scammed by this company to start a class action lawsuit against them so they do not do this to anyone else

Clear expectations and smooth closing
Clear expectations and smooth closing. I'm an agent that has used the program with clients a few times. There hasn't always been a second check depending on the market, so I make sure it's clear to clients that the second check is a bonus and not a guarantee like the first. As long as expectation are clearly set, it's a great program.

I've used Homeward's Buy Before You Sell program a number of times, and it really does make the buying and selling experience for the client more convenient. More than anything it helps to provide certainty for the client and other parties in an uncertain market.

Working with Homeward Mortgage was an extremely easy process. I thought it was going to be hard to close in two weeks, but the portal makes everything really simple to track what documents are needed. Loan officer and processors were very knowledgeable and helped every step of the way.

Only giving one star because the option of giving ZERO isn’t available. I so wish I had read all of these BBB reviews and complaints before doing business with this company. The are complete SCAMMERS, FRAUDULENT, MISLEADING, purposely do not communicate ANYTHING.. they continuously charge you for random things all the way up until you close, just to get you to be able to close, which was never previously disclosed.. as well as changed my escrows they held back after our original agreed upon amount to $17k which was outrageous but they assured me I’d get majority of that back bc my house was in excellent condition shape. CONVENIENTLY the day after we close, my house had a huge water leak or pipe bust that took them THREE weeks to send someone out to repair- leaving me with the utilities of course. They charge an up front fee of almost $20K just to use their program. We closed in October. They still will not communicate with me, have not listed my house nor done ANY improvements to it. Only kept the $20k for “their program” as well as the additional $17k for improvements that they did not do. This company should NOT be allowed to scam people like this!!! And I will be taking legal action against them because if nobody else will help us, it’s time for us to hold them accountable ourselves!!!
