I was able to study at my own pace…
I was able to study at my own pace while I was busy with my affairs of every day life with work and keeping updated with my Electrical License.Professor Jim does a great job with presenting the text knowledge in video form, so you can hear the text being read before going on to read it. It is much like the old "Learn by Phonics" that was used to teach students and help them retain the knowledge in their long term memory.I purchased access to all three elements for 79 dollars in November of 2024 and studied when I had spare time. I purchased the Technician course in February 2022, and then had the opportunity to buy access to the Technician, General and Amateur Extra in November 2024.I like the way it is designed, that allows you to review the lessons and practice tests as many times as you need to become familiar with the knowledge!I'm glad I found this study course back in 2022. I got distracted by work and keeping up my electrical license and advancing my knowledge in the electrical field, but I finally got back to at the end of 2024 when I was offered access to all three elements of HAM Radio.It's now been eight days since I passed my Technician and General class exam and was issued my call sign for General Class license KJ5OHJJust two months before I went on the FCC data base when the government shutdown ended and got my GMRS license WSKN535; I think getting my GMRS helped cement my motion to get my HAM radio license.I'm continuing to studying for my Amateur Extra Class HAM License. Maybe I will finish that this summer of 2026.HamRadioPrep.com is a great course, no matter which level you are at. It will spur you on to get better at your math skills as well, but don't be intimidated by the math portion! Everyone can learn math; if you just stick with it, it will click with you one day.

I bought the double class (Tech &…
I bought the double class (Tech & General) before taking the Tech course, my online practice test were in the 40 & 50ies, after taking the course, my last practice test was a 91. The lessons are organized well, short video, and then the same thing in a reading lesson with the actual test answers highlighted. I take my Tech test on Mar 10th now.

Had GREAT test scores
This program really works and enabled me to score 33/35 for the Tech, then 35/35 (yay!) for the General test. I had a great experience with Ham Radio Prep!

Purchased Ham Radio prep…
I just recently purchased Ham Radio Prep. So far I think the course material setup is very good. A short video, then the text, and then a quiz. It is clear and organized very well. I have much more to go through, so that is all for now. Thank you

great course
while i generally dont like sitting and watching video on my computer, i think it's helped a lot. i havent tested yet, life got in the way last week after going through the technician class course work and i still need to do the general class stuff too.

As a High School teacher I understand the importance of a good lesson plan. These guys have developed and implement an excellent plan of attack for our success. The lessons are interesting and easy to learn
I like the combination of spoken word and written lessons. The combination helps me memorize the lessons. The tests at the end of each lesson give me immediate feedback so I can go back and repeat the questions I missed until they sink in.
