We were experiencing issues with our son and attending high school. He had lost confidence in himself and his ability to learn. He was lost. We saw Hannah and at once it was like a rock had been lifted off our shoulders. We had a really positive experience with Fusion Academy during a time when we needed to think outside the box with our son’s schedule. They were incredibly responsive and collaborative from the start. Instead of giving us a one-size-fits-all answer, they worked with us to create a plan that truly fit his needs.What stood out most was the level of support and communication. We always felt heard, and any concerns were addressed quickly and thoughtfully. Over time, we saw a huge improvement not only in his academic abilities, but also in his confidence.We’re genuinely grateful for the partnership and the care they showed our family. I learned about Fusion through a friend whose son, similar to mine, struggled during the first semester of freshman year. With sports and daily practices, I knew my son needed more individualized, one-on-one support.Since enrolling, we have already seen a noticeable improvement in his grades — and just as importantly, he genuinely enjoys coming here.The Head of School, Sarah Miller, has made our experience incredibly smooth and positive. She truly cares about each student’s success and takes a hands-on approach. The front office staff is always warm, welcoming, and kind. We are so grateful for the support and encouragement our son has received.

Our daughter was at a great school that just wasn't the right fit for her. She struggled daily with anxiety. It was difficult to get her out of bed, she shut down right after school each day already dreading going back the next day. The school counselor recommended we look at Fusion Academy and it's been an amazing experience. Now, she looks forward to school, enjoys the intellectual conversations she has with her teachers, has made fun friends and her grades are showing her true potential.

The Fusion Academy’s structure for education and scheduling has been a wonderful format for our child’s growth. The individualized format allows teachers to fine tune the educational process to the needs of each child’s uniqueness. Fusion is a great experience for our family
The one-on-one teaching format works very well for both of my kids (7th and 10th grades). The teachers are knowledgeable, invested and kind. The student body is made up of students with varying reasons for being there and they are all supportive of each other. And what could be better than not having homework to do after they get home?

This school took my money and never tutored my son
I purchased a tutoring package for my son in Algebra 2. The tutor assigned to him was incompetent and did not have a teaching plan. The program coordinator acknowledged the limitations and asked us to try one more session then she will look at replacement. We did and it did not work. We asked for replacement. We were given another tutor. She showed up and started teaching him Geometry. When he explained that he was there for Algebra she was surprised tried to teach but was not prepared. My son is a competitive rower with limited time. We asked to cancel and get reimbursed. They said their package was not refundable and that I can use the remaining two lessons within a year. I never signed a non refundable agreement and it was not a by choice cancellation. They refused to give the service. I feel defrauded. This is a scam. Do not deal with this school. They are behaving like a scam.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at Fusion Academy Reston. From the moment we walked in to learn about the program and get a tour we knew it would be the perfect place for our daughter. The space is calm and professional as well as welcoming and warm. Hanging on the walls are pictures of the staff as teenagers, serving as a reminder that they have been where our children are now. Each of the staff and teachers got to know my daughter and helped her transition to the new placement where she quickly felt validated and began to thrive. Everyone is helpful and kind
Everyone is helpful and kind, thoughtful in their approach and clearly takes individual needs into account. The atmosphere is warm, and there appears to be a happiness in the air. You could see the kids are engaged in learning and so glad to be in a place where they can enjoy the experience.
