Ever since Evernorth took over service…

Ever since Evernorth took over service has been terrible. Employees I have delt with do a good job. It appears to be mostly a systems and management issue.

Extremely hard to get medications

I have been taking the same seizure medication for 9 years, but when I just changed my health plan to Health Springs & Evernorth prescriptions, they have denied to send claiming they need to make sure it's right for me. Beware should you have to use this company, it may take months to get what you need.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Create new obstacle so they don’t approve medications. Every time you call they add new obstacle. They don’t care about customer, which clearly shows by online reviews.

Horrible experience - Find a different Company

Horrible experience with this Evernorth! Very hard to understand the support team. They will not answer direct questions. They stay on a script. The website is not easy to use. Needs to be more user friendly. They don’t even publish a customer help number for complaints. They have ZERO understanding for the customer.

Unsatisfied Senior Citizen

We’ve been with Express Scripts (now Evernorth) for a second year, and this February 2026, I learned the hard way that they’re now partnered with the Omada Health app. That makes six apps I have to juggle for my health: Healow, Personify Health for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Life Sum, Fitbit, Husk, Food Smart, Hinge Health, and now Omada. Here’s the problem: I have a weight specialist and have been on Wegovy for less than a year. Suddenly, I was told I was “out of compliance” with Omada and they refused to refill my Wegovy prescription—unless I used their scale. The scale barely works; it’s full of errors and doesn’t sync your weight to the app, so you end up manually entering your weight, food intake, connecting your Fitbit, logging exercise, joining communities, and more. The last time I called Express Scripts, they set up a call with Omada to figure out how long it takes before Omada updates their system so Express Scripts can see I’m compliant. I called back the next week and was told that even though my healthcare provider already authorized my prescription, they now need a new authorization. As of last Thursday, it’s been a month since I’ve had my prescription. The hoops patients have to jump through are just ridiculous. The communication between these companies is terrible, and you waste hours on the phone trying to figure out what’s going on. Meanwhile, you risk your health because you can’t get your medication, all thanks to the endless red tape put up by prescription companies and the employers who hire them.

The website is not easy to use

The website is not easy to use. My 2 medications that I finally the doctor requested for me, took forever to get to me. My local CVS pharmacy that I have used successfully for many years is no longer on the list available to me. This is an awful service.

What a mess since Evernorth got…

What a mess since Evernorth got involved with Express Scripts. We've had nothing but problems. They couldn't provide my husband's Jardiance or Zetia and now my Sotalol. My husband has severe heart disease, chronic kidney failure and diabetes just to name a few. We don't take these meds for no reason but because they only have one distributor as I'm told and these meds haven't been available. So I got them through a local pharmacy and yesterday I get a letter telling me if I don't use them or drive a 70 mile round-trip to the base, I'm gonna have to pay full price. There is so much wrong with this and I had no issues with med availability until Evernorth took over. Dr's frustrated with so many calls and having to shuffle prescriptions around. I'm at my wits end. And nobody seems to be able to help.Express Scripts can't even tell you when the med will be available. Oh and be sure you cancel your Rx with Express Scripts before filling at a pharmacy or Express Scripts will deny payment even though they don't have the med. I could go on forever. Somebody help us!!

Horrible experience with this Evernorth…

Horrible experience with this Evernorth / Express Scripts. They sent me supplies (without authorization) for a medication that they didn’t even have available and charged me for them. Would not refund me or let me send them back. Awful customer service.

Poor service experiences

I have been on TRICARE For Life for 14 years and Express Scripts has been myPrescription provider during that time. I can say that until Evernorth Health Services assumed operation of Express Scripts, I had no issues having my prescriptions filled and delivered on time. Now, under Evernorth, the service has been a nightmare. I have had prescriptions cancelled, new and renewable prescriptions held up or delayed either as unavailable or requiring further information from my physician after she provided justification letters. Today, my attending physician has sent three follow-up prescriptions on Trulicity 3.0mg, and told they are unavailable. I am a diabetic, my A1c is 9.2, since last checked in September at 7.2 because my prescriptions are either incorrect (low dosage) or being unfilled since Evernorth starting filling my prescriptions. I have not received any refills increasing my dosage. In fact, as I write this review I received a notification that this commonly used drug can’t be filled. Judging from other reviews I’m not alone with making a complaint. This company is putting people at risk. It’s frustrating and quite unnecessary.

Prescriptions have been delayed again...

My prescriptions have been delayed multiple times in a row by days and weeks! Not cool when you rely on prescriptions for diabetes. This is new corporate behavior since it recently changed to Evernorth. This is crazy.Definitely do not recommend Evernorth.

Ever since Evernorth gained control…

Ever since Evernorth gained control Express Scripts our medications have been delayed or denied. The frustration and anger levels are way up. I now understand why Luigi did what he did, although that’s not an option I would pursue. .

Evernorth is Greedy and Doesn't Care

I have been using Tricare since I retired in 2001. I have rarely had problems with Express Scripts. Recently I have had two needed medications denied even with Prior Authorizations from my doctor and follow up information. I have two denials for critical drugs with no explanation other than to say it was denied and here is the appeal process. I feel so helpless now.

Titration not covered?? Limitations not transparent!

I had a change in dosage for a glp-1 medication but they denied it because apparently there is a quantity limitation of one RX per 21-day rolling period, regardless of dosage. That is unacceptable! I was having side effects that required I titrate down but was left without medication for a month. This caused side effects and a lot of anxiety and mental health issues as I went a month without medicaton cold-turkey. When this was owned by express-scripts, this did not happen! Titrating is a normal event with medication and a minimum of 2 approved should be covered! I asked how to send in a complaint and they didn't have any process for doing so. I'm still in process of getting my correct dosage medication. Just horrible care!!!

If I could give this place negative 50…

If I could give this place negative 50 stars I would. From losing prescriptions, to saying things were delivered to the absolutely horrible customer service. I will go without my medication than have to deal with the. Surprise! I am going without it because they lost it.

Several issues

The wait time to talk to a customer service rep is very long. The user guide that shows how to make a payment is incorrect. The customer service rep I spoke to was trying to find make an online payment but I finally figured it out myself. Very frustrating every single month

Actually horrible- their call center is…

Actually horrible- their call center is outsourced and there is 7/10 chance they speak broken English or reading off a script. I work at a call center and this is by far the worst customer service i have ever called. You are first met with a subpar auto attendant that takes 5 mins to get to an actual person. then it takes 30 min to get a basic question across every time I call. Due to language barrier and them just reading a script and what I said back to them. I have to do this every month due to my monthly controlled substance. unfortunately i cannot change providers due to affordability and my company not wanting to switch. Who outsources a call center for medical questions and prescriptions??? work on your leadership and respect your customers. its not the person who answered the phones fault.
