5-Star Redemption — From Frustration to First-Class ResolutionUPDATED : 2/14/2026Following my original review regarding the repeat suspension issues, I wanted to provide a fair — and now very positive — update after picking up the vehicle.Dylan from Corporate reached out personally to assure me I was a valued customer and that they’d be working behind the scenes to drive a proper resolution. That outreach immediately reset the tone. Shop Manager Ron walked me through the diagnosis in detail, and Service Manager Brandan along with mechanic Joe were hands-on in identifying and correcting the issue after test driving the car with me.I’m thrilled to report the repair now feels absolutely dialed in. Ride and handling are fully restored — and at 161K miles, the car drives as good, if not better, than when I bought it at 16K. That’s no small feat. Kudos to the mechanics for truly knocking this one out of the park.As a courtesy for the difficulties, Auto Lenders absorbed the cost of the additional parts, labor, and required alignment — a resolution that was both generous and greatly appreciated.I also want to recognize the corporate team for stepping in and putting customer satisfaction into real, meaningful action. As an entity, Auto Lenders proved to be more than the sum of its parts. They didn’t just address the problem — they exceeded my expectations at every turn in making this right.Because of how this was ultimately handled, I’m confident updating this experience to a full 5-star rating. This was a true redemption and a strong example of standing behind both the work and the customer.⚠️ CONSUMER WARNING — DO NOT USE THIS SHOPUpdate : 2/2026This has been an exhausting, ongoing nightmare involving my Honda Civic, with the first suspension repair dating back to November 2023 — and the issue remains unresolved. The shop replaced my shocks and struts with cheap aftermarket parts that were not up to required specifications. Those parts failed — repeatedly.Since Auto Lenders Service began addressing the problem, my vehicle has been in two of their repair facilities across six separate visits. As of today, this marks the 8th shock absorber/strut replacement tied to the same suspension failure.I am paying another $600 today, bringing my total out-of-pocket cost to over $2,000 for repeat repairs that should have been corrected properly the first time.To be fair, Auto Lenders did cover 3 of the 8 failed parts — once under warranty and once as a courtesy. However, partial coverage does not offset the constant inconvenience, lost time, and ongoing disruption this has caused.More importantly — this is a safety issue.Driving with unresolved suspension problems affects braking stability, tire wear, steering control, and overall road safety. No customer should be put in a position where they are repeatedly returning for the same critical suspension repair while continuing to operate the vehicle in compromised condition.I came to Auto Lenders Service because I purchased the vehicle through that company and expected accountability and quality workmanship. That expectation has not been met.Let the buyer beware — I will be voting with my wallet and taking both my future vehicle purchases and all service work to a different vendor.

Disappointed with Auto Lenders Exton

Disappointed with Auto Lenders ExtonOver the past eight months, I purchased two vehicles from Auto Lenders Exton — a 2021 Ram 1500 and a 2022 Ram 1500 — and experienced significant issues with both, along with disappointing customer service. With the 2021 Ram, everything was initially great. However, after a routine oil change performed by the dealership, my check engine light came on. A Ram dealer later confirmed the wrong oil or filter had been used. Despite assurances from my salesperson, it took multiple follow-ups and calls to even get the issue inspected. Although they claimed no damage was done, I no longer felt confident in the vehicle and traded it in.On the 2022 Ram, within 20 days, I discovered a leak in the rear window causing water damage and mold inside the truck. Again, initial attempts to get assistance were frustrating — the sales manager offered little support, and it wasn’t until I escalated to the general manager that they provided a rental and scheduled a repair. Even after mold remediation, the truck still has a strong odor, impacting its usability.Overall, Auto Lenders Exton has failed to deliver basic customer service and accountability, and I would not recommend them based on my experiences.

Would never buy another car from them

I would never buy another car from Auto Lender ever again. Bought a car from them and took it to a garage and found all kinds of things wrong. Electrical problems, wrong size battery, never checked any of the fluids, stereo head unit stopped working. They claim they look the cars over. There is no way!

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWAREAs a follow-up to my already terrible experience with Auto Lenders, I can confidently say this was the worst service I have ever received from any business. After knowingly selling me a lemon—a vehicle that was supposedly “certified safe”—the car completely broke down after just 25 miles. It was totaled and required a new engine. For two weeks, I was left without a vehicle while dealing with corporate. They eventually told me I could swap for another car, but when I went to look at a similar vehicle (same year, same model, fewer miles, and only slightly more expensive), things somehow got even worse. Not only did they barely offer me any discount after what they put me through, but I couldn’t even bring myself to test-drive the car because of a glaring issue. Here’s the kicker: the dealership’s sticker, which is usually placed in the bottom left corner of their vehicles, was instead deliberately placed in the top left corner. Why? To cover up paint and body damage. This was an intentional act to deceive potential buyers. How can you trust a business like this? You simply can’t. They actively try to hide damage, clear engine codes, and sell you dangerous vehicles under the guise of being “certified.”It took over a month—from October 17th to November 19th—just to get reimbursed for my down payment after returning the vehicle. This experience was not just frustrating; it was outrageous. Now that the deal is undone, I can assure you that I will not let this happen to other consumers.I will be taking my story to the news, the Better Business Bureau, and the Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection to expose the unethical and unsafe practices of Auto Lenders.Avoid this business at all costs. They are not trustworthy, and their practices are downright dangerous. Protect yourself and your wallet.FIRST REVIEWI recently purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 from Auto Lenders in Exton, and while the initial experience with the salesman, Mike, was smooth and efficient, everything fell apart just 18 hours later. The next morning, with only 25 miles on the truck, the check engine light came on, indicating an engine problem. When I returned to the dealership, I spoke with the service tech, who casually admitted, “That was the truck that needed to go back to the dealership.” He went on to explain that they had cleared the code and hoped the issue would “resolve itself”—completely unacceptable! Why any reputable dealership would knowingly sell a vehicle with an engine issue is beyond me. The manager, John Schwartz, was no help either. He essentially put the problem back in my hands, stating that the dealership’s departments don’t communicate with each other, so the salesman wouldn’t have known about the issue. This kind of disorganization is shocking, and it makes me wonder how many other vehicles they’ve sold with problems like this.Even worse, John told me I needed to make an appointment at a Ram dealership to resolve the issue, offering no assistance, no courtesy vehicle, and no loaner car. I will never do business with Auto Lenders Exton again and strongly advise others to avoid them as well. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is disgraceful.

I got an online estimate of my trade in…

I got an online estimate of my trade in value I then received a call from Auto lenders asking when i would like to come in. I told them that I thought the offer was way to low and I was not interested They told me to bring the car in and they could possibly up the offer depending on the condition. I also received an email and a voicemail and a text saying the same thing. I drove the 35 minutes to the closest store (Lakewood, NJ). I sat down with the sales rep. He took my info and looked on his computer. The first thing he said to me was, "I see you already have our online UP TO Offer". He then told me that that was the highest possible offer they would make. I told him what I was told previously, and he just repeated that they would not go any higher. What a monumental waste of my time and a pretty shady business practice. I had previously purchased a car from them, but be assured, there are plenty of other car dealers out there. I will not be wasting my time and gas at Auto Lenders in the future.

2021 Dodge Charger

We had a particular car in mind and searched the internet. After looking at a few including a brand new model, we found a used one at Auto Lenders. I lived in New Jersey for many years and had dealt with AL before with good results. Their Palm Harbor team did not disappoint, the right car at a fair price super condition. We had no trade so it was a matter of doing the paperwork and driving off. Mike Cash did a great job of showing the car and taking us through the process. Unlike most dealers, the process is without pressure and back and forth nonsense.

My daughter and son in law purchased a Toyota Highlander from Autolenders in Williamstown. After visiting multiple other dealerships in search for a family vehicle, they were helped by Dave McNulty who said “ I’ll find you one”. They had already decided on a Highlander but nothing met their criteria. When Dave called with several possibilities, we took a ride to Williamstown. Dave had found exactly what they wanted and made the process transparent and easy.I can’t thank Autolenders and Dave McNulty enough for treating my family as if their own. SEE DAVE for any of your transportation needs. He is the BEST!! Tom Norton

Worst experience from a service department

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Service Experience at Auto Lenders Fairless Hills, PADear Auto Lenders Corporate Team,I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply concerning experience my husband and I had at your Fairless Hills, PA location regarding the service department. We recently purchased a used car from Auto Lenders and needed to return for a state inspection. During this visit, we highlighted on the form that the vehicle pulsates violently when slowing down at highway speeds, a common symptom of warped brake rotors.Regrettably, the service department dismissed our concern, attributing the issue solely to the brake pads, which they replaced. Despite their efforts, the car still pulsates violently at highway speeds, indicating that the root cause lies beyond the brake pads. My husband, a seasoned mechanic of over 15 years, is certain that the brake pads are not the source of the problem. We have attempted to escalate this matter to the manager of the Fairless Hills location to seek a resolution, but have been met with an alarming lack of response and accountability. This prolonged lack of attention and unresolved issue has left us gravely disappointed in the service provided by Auto Lenders. As first-time customers, this experience has undoubtedly tarnished our perception of Auto Lenders. The disregard for our concerns and the failed attempts to address the underlying problem have left us questioning the integrity of your service department and the overall quality of your offerings. We urge you to investigate this matter promptly and provide us with a satisfactory resolution to rectify the ongoing issue with our vehicle. Additionally, we hope that steps will be taken to prevent similar lapses in customer service and technical expertise in the future.Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution.

Look no further! You've found the best!

Miles and Russ are professional, courteous, honest and all around great guys! Kristen in service appointments as well was professional, courteous and kind. Even after they sold me the vehicle they are helping me figure out something. In every other dealership, once you drive away that's it you're done, not with Auto Lenders! They really do care and it's so rare in that business. Thank you to everyone who is helping me out and who helped me out. On a side note, everyone that I know said they are so glad I bought from auto lenders because they truly are the best!

Great service

Great service. Jeff was informative, attentive and kind. The negotiation with his “boss” felt condescending and rude. We got to the place I was comfortable, but I felt put off. This was my second purchase at AL Turnersville. I’m disappointed in the overall experience
