Excellent service. I bought a Pilot Custom 823, but was unhappy with the medium nib size. Andy swapped it for a broad, at no cost. It was a fuss-free experience, during which he kept me informed at every step of the way. A blueprint for great service, basically.
A really excellent service, great comms, a brilliant price and the product arrived very quickly. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Top notch customer service. I'm always amazed by the speed of response from Andy and every exchange is helpful and polite. Plus, there's a great range of pens for all budgets, including vintage writing instruments. If I could improve one thing, it would be to stop the shopping cart from emptying itself when I take too long mulling over a purchase. (This might be because I'm using Safari). I've learned to keep a browser tab open so I can re-add products in order to check out. From my point of view it's better than having an email bot nag me about my dusty shopping cart several days down the line, but it might result in lost sales for this excellent shop.
I purchased a Caran d’Ache Leman Bicolor Fountain Pen and was absolutely delighted with my purchase. The item was packaged extremely well and was delivered with Royal Mail Special Delivery which makes for an all-round great customer experience because you can track the item. What made this purchase top notch was that I had to exchange the nib because the (M) was far too wide. I have not experienced this with Medium nibs in other fountain pens I have purchased in the past, such as Sheaffer, which I have used for several years. When I messaged Andy through his website, he was extremely accommodating and was happy to exchange it for a Fine (F) nib. I was initially worried because this was such an expensive purchase, I didn’t want to be stuck with something that I didn’t expect. Andy’s service was simply top notch and I received the replacement (F) nib the following week. I would highly recommend Andy’s Pens, and I will definitely be making a purchase from him again in future. (I will also be making sure that I can somehow try nibs for any future purchases I want to make because I don’t like to cause hassle for retailers (wasted time and expense for them), and nor do I like returning items as it is a hassle).
I ordered a pack of 1.18 HB leads to fit an Eversharp pencil.......these are hard to find !Also ordered 2 black Monteverde ballpen refills to fit a Mont Blanc ballpen......much cheaper than the MB original.A good website....no problems and emailed at each stage...goods came 1st class mail, quickly and well packed. My first order but would use again.
Very pleased with the service. I ordered some Eversharp leads, which aren't that widely available. There was a slight problem with my browser not moving past the secure payment's confirmation page, so I emailed Andy to check whether it had gone through or not. Even though I'd ordered late on Saturday night, he replied on Sunday morning, confirming the payment had cleared. He kept me updated on the processing and posting, and the leads arrived on the Wednesday. Highly recommended.
Andy is very trustworthy and knowledgeable, he informed me with everything I needed to know with my first vintage fountain pen.The pen is beautiful and in such perfect condition as stated in the description/pictures. Oh, and the postage was super quick!I will certainly be a loyal customer here. 11/10 highly recommend!
I've bought a number of things from this retailer. They are always shipped the same day as the purchase goes in online. They arrive the following day.Now I bought a pen from him. The nib was far too fine for me and he simply said, "Send it back I'll swap it out". Again the item was returned super fast.Andy is a nice bloke and he knows his stuff. He offers good advice and guidance based on many years in the business. This shop is now #1= for me.
My wife purchased a fountain pen from Andy and it was shipped the same day, arrived in the post the following day.I wasn't happy with how it wrote so I sent an email asking him if I could exchange it. He replied almost immediately to offer me a choice of an exchange or refund. He also offered me advice on various nib types. Andy was really helpful and full of knowledge, and he even swapped the nib to a different type!I got the pen back a couple of days later and it's perfect! Top marks for Andy's Pens!
