I have been with Ace Auto protect for 2 years

I have been with Ace Auto protect for the last 2 years, last week I had a problem with my car, so I bought it to the mechanic and gave my Ace Information, this was on Monday, he has been calling for the past 3 Days and cannot get any response, I have also been calling and holding on the phone for over an Hour, also sent 3 emails with no response, this was my first time in the two years I been with Ace, and cannot reach anyone, I will be getting in touch with the Better Business Bureau, also ABC Channel 7 News, So if your thinking of getting involved with this company, think again, and I paid their fee in front, I guess it’s just another fraudulent company. BE WARNED!!! That’s ACE AUTO PROTECTION Remember SCAM.

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. Requested cancellation of our policy about 8 months in after our mechanic nor ourselves were ever able to reach anyone at this company. Literally tried calling for hours. Ended up paying for repairs ourselves. After such awful service we decided to cancel our policy. Submitted all the paperwork in August 2025. Still have never been able to reach anyone at this scam of a company despite hours on the phone on hold, and countless emails. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, as my mechanic nor ourselves have EVER dealt with a company with as horrible customer service as this one. They are a complete fraud, do not buy anything from them. They will take your money, and you will never be able to reach them again. There are no words to describe how unsatisfied we are with this company.

I have a 5 year service agreement less…

I have a 5 year service agreement less than a year old, I had a covered claim that I had to pay because they never got back with the shop. I sent them the bill and they called me and said they would send me a check for the $275. Didn't get the check, now I have called and called to no avail. I've sent messages any way I can. Haven't heard a thing. Total scam. If I could rate them 0 I would

This is a criminal company

This is a criminal company. They don't follow their own policy. I canceled my contract in April 2025, and i haven't gotten my refund. All their employees are deceptive. All their activities and policy are deceptive. Iam in the process of taking them to court. I already told them, they will never get away with my money. Stay away from this fraudulent company. Once they collect your money, that's it. You will never get the services in your contract.

Do not use this company

I am currently on hold for Two hours to follow-up up on a rare reimbursement check. Please do you research before you chose a service. Also my dealer is not happy with them. The wait times on the phone is ridiculous.

Watch out!! This is a scam!!!

If I could give this scam 0 stars, I would! I have come to discover through my recent experience that this company is a scam. They are unreachable and no way fr you to file a claim. For days, I have made several attempts to contact someone in the company with no success. They will leave you on hold as long as you are willing to sit and wait, and will never actually connect you to anyone. I will be taking all necessary steps to report this company to any agency possible for fraud. Do not purchase anything through them unless you want to give them your money for free.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER

My name is Cynthia and I tried calling today 2/4/26 and held on line for over 30 minutes then the call disconnected. I also wanted to email them, but their email does not come up. No matter what option I press, all you get is a voicemail message. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. SEEMS ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN. I hope they read and other people read this message and hopefully they will go out of business from no one buying their warranty plans until they straighten up their act and run the company the way it should operate with people who will help customers and answer the damn phone and be trustworthy because right now they totally SUCK AS A COMPANY! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!

I’m in the same boat as everyone else

I’m in the same boat as everyone else. Purchased a contract for $1800. (1st red flag) I cancelled almost a year ago without ever putting a claim thru, sent all the paperwork in to get a refund. (after their service fees) they say they never got it. Sent it again months later, they approved it last July and nothing. Haven’t talked to a live person in months. There should be some recourse we have to expose these scumbags!! Now when I call, the automated system calls it A-S-E not ACE. What a joke!

Paid $1780 for policy and now they refuse to answer my calls after I had a claim.

I paid $1780 for a protection plan for my truck. I began having transmission problems so I was told to get a quote and send it over and so I did. They then asked for my maintenance records which I sent them. However, after I sent over my records they kept giving me the run around and now they won't even answer my phone calls or respond to me. The last time I spoke with them I questioned their practices and she hung up on me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Check them out with the BBB & DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Horrible Company and Service

Be very careful before accepting a contract with Ace Auto Protect. If you have any issues within the first 30 days, they will be of no assistance (approved for only $500) which would be of no help for repairs. Since this is an extended warranty, my vehicle was purchased used. I took it in for my 10k service interval per my vehicle's handbook. Multiple items were depicted as needing repairs, at which time a claim was filed. Once Ace Auto Protect advised they could only cover $500, I requested they cancel the claim (which according to their supervisor can't be done), but I was not made aware of this. 4 months later I took my vehicle back so I could pass the 90-day threshold and qualify for the $5,000 limit for repairs. When we contacted Ace Auto Protect they advised that since a claim was placed previously, they cannot honor the new claim, and must go off the original claim, which only allowed a contribution of $500 instead of $5,000. Needless to say, very disappointed with the company. After cancelling my contract back in February 2025, I have yet to receive my refund. According to them, I needed to send additional documentation. I sent the required information (certified mail) in July 2025, and still have not received my refund 6 months later. Has anybody taken legal action against this company, and if so, would they be willing to share who they went through?

Agree that they are an absolute scam

Agree that they are an absolute scam. They are slow to pay and so the repair shop will no longer wait for payment and we have to pay in full but then Ace doesn't tell you how to submit for reimbursement. They tell you that EVERYTHING is covered and lead you to believe this is an exclusionary policy but it is NOT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM.

TOTAL SCAM!

I purchased the Platinum Elite plan. My water pump went out on my Dodge Diesel total repair cost $866.70, I was informed I would receive $187.50 for labor and $50.00 for the new water pump $237.60 total. Has anyone in the last 30 years bought a replacement water pump for $50.00? Now I call for the status of my check and if I am not just disconnected I am on hold until I give up. I have currently been on hold for over an hour.TOTAL SCAM DO NOT BUY!!

I have been trying to cancel my service…

I have been trying to cancel my service contract since January of this year after they offered a miniscule amount to cover an axel claim. I have been ignored and given the run around after being told multiple times my refund was mailed. I have now sent ovrnight and certified mail since my calls and emails now go unanswered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Terrible company to deal with - a scam.

Purchased Warranty from ACE on January 8, 2025, for 2015 Jaguar XF.The policy was for 5-years or 100,000 miles (whichever came first). The deductible was $50.00 and the premium was $2,699. Warranty claim: In March 2025, car had an emissions system failure. Car taken for repair. The problem was a failure of the Max Air Pressure Control valve, a covered repair under terms of my warranty.I informed garage that I had a covered repair under my auto warranty policy. They would not accept direct payment from ACE Auto Protect because their experience was they are very slow to pay, if they pay at all.I paid for repair directly to not delay getting my car fixed. I agreed to deal directly with ACE for reimbursement.ACE was extremely difficult, requesting an extensive amount of paperwork and initially disputing the garage’s invoice. This delayed getting ACE’s approval for the reimbursement of the covered repair. When ACE finally did agree to pay the claim, they only agreed to pay $232.20, although the repair cost was $686.59. Thus, ACE paid only 33.8% of the repair cost, while the deductible on my policy is $50!When I complained ACE stated that the part can be obtained from several discounted outlets and they would only pay for the cheap part which was of questionable quality and reliability, & cost much less than the high-quality OEM part that my service station used in the repair. (My garage guarantees their work and would not use a substandard part.)Once ACE approved my claim, which took weeks and many phone calls, I was told a check would be issued in 30 business days, (a 5-day week). I did not receive my check for a month-and-a-half.Policy Cancellation:After this experience it was clear I could not rely on ACE for future warranty reimbursement should another repair be needed. I notified ACE that I wished to cancel my policy and receive reimbursement for the unused portion of my coverage. This notification was on July 8, 2025, exactly 6-months after my policy went into effect. With the policy written for 5-years (60-months), I expected a reimbursement of 90% of the premium, or $2,429. The policy was cancelled in accordance with the terms of the contact, Part VII – CANCELLATION OF VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT – Part B: After thirty (30) days. The policy was cancelled on July 20, 2025. I was informed that I would not receive 90% of my original premium; they would deduct for the milage driven by the vehicle during the 6-months the policy was in effect, and they would also deduce from my reimbursement the monies they had previously paid me for my covered repair! The agent was unable to tell me how much my reimbursement would be, but it would be “somewhere between $1600 and $1800.” This payment would be issued “within 60-business days.” This would delay payment for 12 weeks. I should expect to receive payment by October 12th. A check was not received by that date. I contacted ACE. Again, it was extremely difficult to reach an agent and they did not return my calls. But eventually, I reached an agent, who told me that a check would be mailed on October 31st. It is now November 15th. No check has been received. I don’t believe ACE ever issued a check.
