Unprofessional and couldn’t fix.

This was a waste of money and such a manipulation of service. The Engineer Christopher was unprofessional, slow(hourly rated) and in the end didn’t fix our Boilermate2K. He claimed to be an expert and said he would replace the motor (£90) to get us up and running again. The motor stopped working within 2 days and when contacted to inform him of this, he said there were further 2 more problems that needed to be addressed; this apparently voided our 1 year parts guarantee!To summarise, it was an unfinished job that he wanted to do in two parts with multiple call out fees and more. Luckily we saw red lights straight away and cut our losses with him. Very bad service!

Pulsacoil electric boiler repair done by Chris @ WELCOUK.com

I feel this company is a rip-off . The heating engineer Chris visited me thrice for the same problem and charged me 3 times and each time he said it was a different problem with the boiler. The first time he changed the MCB in the boiler .the next time he changed both elements .after this repair overnight there was an overflow of steam from the boiler and it triggered smoke alarm overnight causing a fire hazard.I called the guy in the morning with his gung-ho attitude he said that means the new elements are working fine and said that the there was problems with the sensors and changed them . The initial problem of the off peak heating has reoccurred again and this guy says its a new problem . I had to call a different engineer who diagnosed the issue in 5 minutes the wire attached by Chris was very loose and wasn't done properly as a result the off peak stopped working . I think Chris from WELCO is has no clue about what is wrong with the boiler . I do not think he is trained to repair it . I had spent £560 till date with him without any proper repair . I would not recommend this company / the engineer for pulsacoil boiler repair . Please do not use him for electric pulsacoil boiler repairs .
