Waterton: Apt Management That Doesn’t Care
Considering a new apartment in Springfield, VA? Make sure Waterton Property Management is not the landlord or leasing office. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They treat residents like numbers—it’s very impersonal and corporatized. They have lots of red tape, really long, complicated contracts, too. They also do not have any complaint forms for residents—so no accountability. For example, no accountability or change in behavior when a resident was treated wrongly. Then there was retaliation against me for previous email complaints in the form of not accepting my payments. I’ll probably experience additional retaliation for submitting this company review. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a leasing office in my life. Antiquated, terribly shortsighted policies. Hopefully that helps to warn others. The Better Business Bureau rates them a D- and that’s the grade I would give, too.
