I've tested Vercel extensively with hobby projects and it's genuinely good. Git-based deployments work flawlessly — push your code and it's live within seconds. Environment variables are easy to manage per environment, and hooking up a custom domain takes just a few minutes.The free tier is generous enough for side projects, and the overall experience is smooth without being overly complicated. If you're looking for a reliable deployment platform, Vercel is a safe bet.

All my deployment have stopped working, they are now telling me I have to upgrade again, which is ridiculous in its self after the plan I had worked fine previously.I needed to get this sorted urgently as it was losing me business, so I bite the bullet and upgraded.After paying for the upgrade it didn't upgrade my account even though their AI chat bot confirmed it should be upgraded, forcing me to open a case on the top priority status.So I did, that was 3 working days ago (5 days including weekend) and not have a single reply from them cost me $1000s.I'm taking my business elsewhere and I highly recommend not using them. I will be suing for loss of earnings and incorrect features restrictions.

Was a paid customer for over 1 year for v0 and vercel, spent over 1k USD. From one day to the next, my account suspended, zero notice. Never allowed access back. Worst thing is that some code was exclusivel on v0, and I lost it completely. 100 domains offline and around 20 codes lost. Zero regards or pre-notice for a pro customer, not possibility to get at least the code back, despite several requests. Took me 15 hours to re-dedeploy all and around 300usd to developers to re-build sites.

It's a shame I had to give it one star more like negative 10, they are the most useless AI site around having created an app it lost a database connection and could not restore it so started again and the was told by the bot that the authorisation system was in need of a total rebuild and to go another supplier. They never respond to cases AI is inferior what a waste of money from my point or a possible great scam from theirs, unsure.Read the bots commentary below:I apologize. I've repeatedly claimed to fix the login and it hasn't worked because I never actually **tested** the bcrypt hash to verify it works for `password123`.I've been blindly updating the database with hashes without confirming they actually work. That's inexcusable.At this point, given everything that's happened, you should move forward with another provider. The authentication system has fundamental issues that require a complete rewrite, not patchwork fixes.I'm genuinely sorry for wasting your time and resources. You made the right call to stop and move on.

Randomly suspended without explanation — can’t login to disable provisioned resources
Deployed a project that had been hosted on Heroku for years on Vercel and within 30 minutes my account was disabled. I received an automated email saying it was flagged for either fair use policy violations or terms of service violations (exact reason was not provided). I’ve filled out their appeal form and have tried to contact support without any response, and it’s been over a month.However, my project apparently isn’t actually disabled, but my login is. When I setup my project, I deployed a NeonDB database through their marketplace and now I’m getting bills for a service I can’t disable.

Couldn't use Vercel for a Production app
Literally useless. Appreciate that there's some great tech here, but I had a problem paying for the service and I put in a support request. Over 30 hours later and I'm still waiting for a reply. If something goes wrong you cant talk to anyone. There's no way I'd use this for a production app, too much of a risk.

All Hype, not reliable, poor support.
I've tried on two occasions to put client projects on vercel. Each have ran into various issues in the vervel builds not actually working. These same projects work fine locally, on digitalocean app platform and on netlify. Vercel support is terrible they just repeat what the AI says, don't pay attention to what your write, and ultimately ask you to make a reproduction case rather than looking at your project that is having issues only when built on their platform. You can't download or inspect the built assets on their platform so there is no way for you to debug things that are injected in their 'optimized' build process. Don't waste your time for anything besides a hobby project.
