I had the absolute worst experience…

I had the absolute worst experience with this company. The standing desk converter did not work -- the keyboard holder bounced with each use, making the monitory blurry and impossible to work. Delivery was 6 weeks delayed. When I went to return the item, they made me pay for my own shipping and materials -- which was the full cost of the item itself. Absolutely horrible, terrible company with poor products

Acacia desk damaged in transit; Uplift did nothing

I purchased the Acacia top standing desk. It must be quite soft wood because it arrived badly gashed on the front. The gashes are visible from the couch across the room. It looks terrible. Customer service offered no assistance, though clearly we did not cause the damage.This was my 2nd desk from Uplift. The first one was laminate with Uptown Walnut finish. It was sturdier than the Acacia, but the color was uglier than online photos. In spite of the convenience features, I will not purchase another Uplift product.

Good products, but serious fulfillment and resolution issues

Title: Solid product, but a painful fulfillment error and weak resolutionI’ve purchased from Uplift before and expected a smooth experience. This time was the opposite.Uplift shipped a desk frame that did not match the configuration that was quoted and discussed. I assembled the frame assuming it was the correct item. Once it became clear it wasn’t, returning or exchanging it became its own major project involving disassembly, repackaging, and days of back-and-forth.Uplift acknowledged the mistake, but their proposed resolution still required significant time and coordination on my part to undo their fulfillment error. Even after multiple days of emails, they resisted fully covering the real costs involved and did not offer meaningful consideration for the time and inconvenience incurred.The hardware itself may be solid, but when something goes wrong, the process is slow, rigid, and places too much burden on the customer. For a premium-priced product, that’s disappointing.I’m posting this as a caution to others: confirm every detail in writing, keep all correspondence, and be prepared to advocate hard if anything arrives incorrect.

Bad Customer Service (and a little overpriced)

Originally, this was going to be a 4 star review because the wood desk I ordered for $1500 is compressed particle, laminate “wood”. But the 3 star comes from the bad customer service and their return policy. Some background, it took 13 emails to finally get uplift to send me the missing screws - I could not assemble the desk. Additionally, not all the boxes were delivered at the same day. There are a lot of boxes, and given the time of year, there’s already a lack of space to keep boxes (plus I’m not one to return something for buyers remorse - it’s either damaged or crapola). So I had everything out of the boxes and on the floor, waiting on the screws.After finally receiving the screws, I assembled the desk and realized a few of the add-ons did not meet my build satisfaction. So I attempted to return those items and was informed they would not authorize a return because I don’t have the original packaging. I was advised to sell the items on a 3rd party platform.

I forgot to add the free accessories to my desk order, and Akilah H responded to my inquiry immediately. She double-checked compatibility, added the right items to my order, and made the whole process effortless. Great customer service and genuinely helpful.

I was having trouble with the first motor

I was having trouble with the first motor that was sent with my desk that I purchased in March of 2925. No matter how many times I tried to reset it, it would malfunction and stop working.About a month ago, I had enough. I called customer service and got Akilah, who coincidentally helped me with the issues I was having with the first motor. She advised me to file a warrant claim for a replacement, and walked me through the process. I received the replacement motor and installed it. I haven’t had any issues since. Thanks Akilah!!On another note, the motor is poorly designed. I understand that a reset procedure is helpful, but to use it so many times and still not have the ability to raise and lower the desk suggests that construction and design of the motor is an issue that needs addressing. I give the motor one star

Customer service can't be beat

Customer service can't be beat. I placed my order and forgot to add the code for my free light. I contacted the company, and Kris R immediately got back to me and updated my order. Customer service is fantastic, and shipping was fast. I love my new desk. It's finally at the perfect height for my short frame.

Great Customer Service from Akilah

I needed to place an order, but have the shipping delayed to a later date, and Akilah Hicks was great helping me set up my order. They even caught that some of my accessories weren't matching when I placed my order and fixed it for me. They were very communicative throughout the process.

Minor shipping damage/Corrected by Uplift IMMEDIATELY

I used the online chat window to discuss a minor damage issue with my new desk. My customer support rep (Akilah Hicks) was more than happy to do whatever was needed to make my experience better.We have purchased a handful of desks and accessories from Uplift and my experience with Akilah will keep us coming back to Uplift for future purchases. The most unbelievable Sales & Customer Service!!!

Linda Sanchez has been hands down the most unbelievable Sales & Customer Service Specialist I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.And I mean EVER !!!I actually got to the point of feeling guilty with the amount of time and patience Linda provided to help me find. order, replace and do whatever else was necessary to get three of the Uplift table/frame products I purchased up and running.Over the past 35 years I have dealt with literally dozens if not hundreds of companies.And hundreds if not thousands of reps.To place orders, fix orders, return orders and anything else to do with ordering.Also all the tech support calls to fix hundreds of problems.I have found a few good people here and there but Linda was by far and away the best !!!On every question, on every email I sent her she actually took the time to read and understand the issue (don’t think this happens that often now a days!).- she went out of her way to find out the correct answer and solution.- she always explained everything clearly and concisely.- proceeded with ordering the correct items with immediate dispatch.It is really rare to see this level of competency and conscientious effort.I have been dealing with Uplift for the past 3 years to get my new office space ready and everyone there has been amazing.But Linda went above and beyond anything I would have ever expected from anyone. Period.Keep up the great work Linda and Uplift !!!

Extremely quick shipping

Extremely quick shipping. Also, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong color grommets for my desk. When I emailed the next morning to ask if they could be changed, I was informed by Kris that the order had already shipped but they would send me the correct ones as a separate order at no cost. Thank you Kris and Uplift for a great customer experience.

Beautiful & Well Made

Beautiful, well made, highly customizable desks at a fair price with a great warranty and even better customer service. The first desk I ordered came damaged (not Uplift's fault) but they were quick to replace it at no charge, no questions asked. I've since bought another desk and have found the personal attention they give refreshing and reassuring in an era of AI powered chatbots. Special shoutout to Bney for taking care of me, I'll likely be back for more as my colleagues enviously take note of my setup.
