Your order will never ship and they'll never answer the phone
Ordered a North Face luggage on May 23. A shipping label was allegedly created but there was never any tracking info or package movement. Wrote a few emails which received a generic response. Called in a few times and waited on hold for over 40 mins each time despite a voice prompt saying I was the next called in line. Eventually while waiting on hold, your call ends up getting disconnected. After 3 days of trying to get through, someone finally picked up and I mentioned that I needed to know what was holding up my order which was over 2 weeks late. Was told the package seems to have been lost and was promised an overnight delivery. This was on June 9. On June 11, I logged into their website and saw a new order placed for the same item that said in progress. After 2 days of in progress status, I can no longer trust SunnySports or take them seriously. Writing this review to warn everyone else, stay away.

They charged my card but never shipped anything. I contacted them a number of times and they wanted to start a 10 day "tracer" (after the promised delivery date) with the shipper who does actually provide proper tracking but never even received the package from sunnysports to start with.After I refused this, they promised a refund but then kept asking for extra days every time the deadline has passed for the refund to arrive. Ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company.Easily the worst merchant I've dealt with in the last 10 years. Zero stars would be more appropriate but it was not an option...

Buyer beware! I ordered the Dakine Heli 12L backpack in Oceania. I received the Dakine Heli 12L in Vintage Camo. I reached out to customer service via email on 1/2/25 and received no response. I called 3 times explaining my situation and requesting a return label and information on whether or not they had the item I originally ordered. I received the same response “we’ll get back to you tomorrow”, or told me they sent me a return label and never did. It took a fourth phone call before someone sent me a shipping label. Take note that their return policy is full refund from date on INVOICE. I feel like I was given the run around until this time expires. I would be highly cautious before placing any order with this company. It appears they have a track record from other reviews online of sending the wrong item and not issuing refunds. I’m highly disappointed with my experience and am not holding my breath for receiving my refund- even though the mistake was on their end.

Deceptive Advertising of Product + No RefundThis is the worst company I have ever done business online. I have 3 kids so I have done a ton of business online. They had a pair of Mens Shoes discounted to 167.00. I purchased them to find out the size was unisex?? I used their filters on their website to filter only mens shoes. They would not refund the product. This company should not be allowed to be in business. As you can see with their rating they make profits by ripping people off on the regular. I decided to write another review a year later because still to this day they are worst company I have ever done business with. Merry Christmas Sunny Sports see you next year on the review page if you continue to rip good people off.

I ordered a " changeable magnetic magic cube " from their website via an ad on facebook. Only after clicking for only ONE it had defaulted to ordering three and took payment for three ! I tried to cancel via website using e mail and message on website . NO response except for an e mail saying payment had not been processed.No i get an e mail saying its been sent despite me attempting to cancel before they sent ! I will have to dispute this via my bank as i know how this will go

I bought some boots for a trip, they never arrived, I contacted them several times telling them that there was a problem, they insisted that everything was in order. One day they told me that the boots went lost in customs and that there was nothing they could do. They never gave me my money back.

I read the reviews and was hesitant, especially considering that my order was to be shipped to the warehouse of a shipping company to later be sent to Europe, and there was no way I could make a return if they sent the wrong stuff, or damaged, or smth else like that.First of all, this is not a scam. Some old reviews here say it is, but it's not, the shop exists.I decided to give it a go. Ordered a Sierra Designs backpack, with free shipping.Took them a few days to hand the backpack over to UPS, but it was within the indicated timeframe. And then it was successfully shipped first to the warehouse and then over to me in Europe.The backpack I received is of the right model and size, with no damage and no issues whatsoever. The packaging was a simple plastic bag, but it did its job of keeping the backpack intact and also made the cost of my shipment from the US to Ukraine lower since it's not a voluminous box. I am very satisfied. Already ordered another backpack for my gf.

Unbelievable. I bought a large ticket item from Sunnysports previously and I got a good deal and the item was fine. I went to buy another big ticket item a few weeks later and, as before, I had my billing address and a different address to ship it to.Apparently, they didn't like the idea that it was being sent to another address than my billing. 🤔 I told them it was my UPS mailbox and I have all packages sent there due to porch pirates stealing from me. I've never had any problem with any company previously. I explained the situation. They wanted more details which I gave them. Then they began crossing the line, asking for the email to which I receive billing by AmEx. 🤔 Why do they need that? This isn't about the payment being a problem. It's that it's another address I'm sending to. They can verify with UPS that it's legit. Besides, what about someone that wants to send a purchase as a gift to someone at a different address? They had zero problems with the last order. Well, when I refused the info asking what email I use for my AmEx, which has nothing to do with this, they said they're denying my buying the item. WHY? 😐I wrote once more when they asked for a review and I calmly explained and asked again if I could order. Do they really want to send to the address where porch pirates will likely steal it, or would they send to my safe UPS mailbox, which they can verify? They told me they Canceled the order! 😕So they've lost my business for life. Also, I started reading reviews and I'm glad I'm not patronizing them ever again.

Great experience!
Reading all of these negative reviews, I was a little skeptical but wow am I impressed! I placed an order for Grayl water bottles and I had a great experience. My order was easy to place, communication around my order and delivery was very good and my order arrived fast (5 business days from Coast to Coast). The items were packaged with care, they are new, and they work great. I doubt I will need to return anything, and hope I don't have issues if/when I do (according to other comments). I definitely plan to be back.

Be aware that if the size is wrong you will have to pay to return it. Their website does not work. The links do not function and the email also does not work. I was finally able to get a hold of customer service, who said she would email a return label to me, but all the email contained was a link to the site - which did not work. When it takes less time to write a review than to accomplish what you need to, it is never good for the company. Go to a big box before you go here.

The supervisors are worse than the customer service team! I received defective boots that were $200! Even within the warranty time frame they would not refund me my money and instead sent me a store credit which knowingly would not do me any good because they didn’t have any same or similar boots. So instead I searched for hours for things that my family and I could use but did not need and finally made the order and I then received a pair of USED slippers which by the sounds of it is not an uncommon thing at all which I find absolutely disgusting. The supervisor is beyond rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. They only care about 1 thing and that’s money and screwing anyone over that they can along the way. I live In northern minnesota which is why I ordered winter muck boots we need extremely warm waterproof boots around here preferably ones that don’t completely fall apart, yeah I’m not kidding in the matter of 2 months and not even winter yet the whole bottom of both boots started completely separating from the rest of the boot! So I’m out almost $200 still no boots a pair of used slippers snow pants for my son some super giant shirt a pair of extremely uncomfortable socks and uncomfortable not polarized sunglasses. So thanks for nothing! This place needs to be shut down. I don’t know how they keep just getting away with this crap that keep repeatedly happening! Like selling USED ITEMS! There is something seriously wrong with this company and how it operates!

I would absolutely not recommend this company. I received a pair of used shoes -- scratches, dirt, scuffs... everything you can imagine on the product that was presented and bought as brand new. The company was less than helpful when I let them know. No discount on future merchandise or anything to remedy the inconvenience, as I had to take the time to ship the used shoes back and go out of my way to do so. On top of that, when I was packing up the order, I found the last person's order paper still in the box with all of their personal information! So unprofessional. This company is careless and sells used merchandise presented as new. BEWARE!

I bought shoes from the website. They were not waterproof as advertised. I used them for a day and wanted to return them, but they did not accept the return. I ordered microspikes to use on a hike in the white Mountains. tried on one at home over my (clean) hiking boots but they didn't fit so I left them at home in the original bag, box, instructions etc. Weather was above freezing and didn't need them anyway. Returned them on 10/8 and inquired about them on 10/18 and was told they had trouble locating them. Sent them the tracking number and received an email on 10/20 stating they have limited staff (until 10/18??) and it would take them until 10/24. Fine. On 10/25 I was told they couldn't refund me BC they had been used...had some sort of salt residue (???). I've never had this issue in 45 years of enjoying the great outdoors with a large variety of outfitters.

Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. Ordered 2 camp chairs and wanted to return and purchase different chairs (more expensive). I told them I had only opened them and realize they were the shorter version of the chair and wanted to exchange them for regular height. I had all original packaging, tags, etc. It took 2 weeks for Return Dept to say they can't accept the return. Why did it take 2 weeks? And why can't items in new condition with original packaging be returned? Never shopping here again.
