AVOID THIS COMPANY
Horrible experience with this company. Insisted on quoting by email (no video) so price increased massively after half my belongings were packed and already back at the depot. Sent unqualified college aged packers so lots of boxes not packed properly and damage to items. Whole box missing and although reported immediately they are now not responding to emails. They are not interested in replacing damaged items or missing items. Rude and unhelpful after they get full payment they have the upper hand. They were recommended by a friend who used them a few years ago but I wish I had read these reviews on here before I went ahead so hope people take note of my review so they don't get ripped off either. There are much better international removal firms to use. My friend who was just about to sign and return her contract is not going ahead with the company based on my experience. So for the sake of sorting out my issues probably for the amount of £500 they have now lost a £15k job. Also told other friends who are moving their belongings abroad not to consider using them. It's a shame companies like this take advantage of people as reputation is so important nowadays

No regard for our property
St Georges were recommended to us by 2 friends so we though that they must be good and initially they were. They gave us a reasonable quote and we did not have to wait too long for our belongings to be collected from the storage depot where they were waiting to be transported to Spain. However it went downhill from there. We were with the 2 guys who emptied our storage space all of the time and no matter whether fragile was written on the boxes or not, they were all put on the trolleys in a haphazard manner and taken down to their lorry. Our large TV being the last thing to go as it was transported to the lorry face down on the trolley and I'm still amazed that it worked when we arrived in Spain.We were also amazed that only 2 days after us arriving in Spain, so did our belongings, so that was good. However they were due to come to us on a Tuesday but we waited in all day and by 5pm we had to phone the depot to find our where they were. Apparently they had broken down but no-one though to let us know. However they arrived early the next morning but as they had to do catch up after losing time the previous day everything was rushed. I was trying to highlight all the numbered boxes when they came in but I could not keep up with the speed of the delivery so had to check it all again after they had gone. There were 4 missing boxes, one of which was my husband's B&W hi-fi speakers which we reported by email immediately, however no-one responded to the email so we had to call them and then send evidence which we did by describing the box that they were in and sending a copy of the invoice. Once they realised that they were going to have to re-imburse us £800 for a set of new speakers the box was rapidly found. My watch box was also completely smashed and was in one of the fragile boxes, photos were sent of the damage and I was re-imbursed for it. However whatever happened to the other 3 missing boxes I have no idea and as we will not be fully unpacked for another month it will be far too late to claim as you are only given 7 days to check your possessions. BEWARE PEOPLE, make a list of everything that you pack and number your boxes yourself, don't rely on their numbering system as their labels are tiny.

I used their service both for packing and moving and then for receiving. The receiving end was very good and the packing was excellent. The reason for the poor review is that one of our beds needed to be taken apart and somehow the parts never made it. It has been 6 weeks and we still cannot use the bed. Not all of the 6 weeks is their fault as they did purchase new parts but they shipped them using regular post and we still have not received them.The other part of the bad review is that neither the company nor their broker knew that they could not use an articulated lorry on the resort, so they had to transfer from the lorry to smaller van and move the items (4 times). However we had to pay extra for them to do what they should have already known.Also for both the pickup and delivery we had to wait until almost the last minute before we know when they would come. For the delivery side this was not a problem but for the shipping side it was impossible to make travel plans until the Friday before they arrived as we didn't know what day they would be coming. Over all I would say they are a decent company, but should I move back I will try and find someone else.

Avoid if you don't want to pay $2700 for nonexistent customer service
Horrific customer service, possibly the worst I've ever encountered.Called and emailed for a shipment quotation for a shipment that had been imported and brought to their warehouse through DHL.Customer service took 2 weeks to finally respond provide a quote, meanwhile racking up daily charges to over $2000. The shipment was in their possession yet they claimed to not know the dimensions.I had already paid $700 in demurrage and other feesI was passed from agent to agent, each not knowing the circumstances of the issue. Zero internal communications and everyone is clueless.Worse than terrible customer service is the fact that they then charge you daily storage fees so you are responsible for their incompetence

Hi The company only delivered our furniture in Spain as we used Pickfords to pack and store. I have to say the 2 guys (David and Michael) who delivered our furniture were the best we have ever had and we have moved a lot. They were really cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. Pickfords have been a nightmare to deal with but these guys pointed out the things that were packed incorrectly for international removal by Pickfords.

Very bad experiences with this company
Very bad experiences with this company, we move from London to Marbella , the communication was terrible, items arrived damage and impossible to check the goods on delivery, we received a full truck, need days to be able to check. big surprise when we open the box, more then 10 items damage with a big lost for us. St Georges feedback was you sign delivery note so we will not be able to assist you. absolutely unfair. i will not advice to use this company !!!!
