The puppies made it great
The puppies made it great, the vibe made it good, the massive scale reduced the intimacy of the event vs prior years and created a sense of FOMO, even though I was at the event - I just felt like I was missing out on connection and education opportunities.

Ease, user-friendly and stress-free experiences!
I had someone redo my website but since then I have been able to easily go in, update, add, change, and move around things on the website with ease. The last website provider I was using was not super user friendly and it was hard to update the website quickly, it always ended up taking much longer than I had anticipated. With Squarespace, I am able to pop in, update what I need and be on to my next task with ease, such a breath of fresh air! There is also piece of mind knowing that not EVERYTHING I want to do with the website requires me to pay someone else to handle, I am able to do what I want and outsource the rest.

SMALL BUSINESSES RUN!
holds money, gives you the run around about the money and still expects you to stay on the site and you have to pay for EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING which is insane. I LEFT Shopify but going back its insane.

Boxed up
We’re not designers trying to build our website but it’s not been as straightforward as we expected. By using templates we see ourselves stuck in a limited design with no flexibility for adjustments

All round professional package
I have been a web designer developer for over 20 years, and used Squarespace for well over 7. I have had many clients adopt the platform with almost all never looking back. Compared to many others it is the best all round professional package.

I was a 66 year old guy who needed to build a website for a local non-profit I'm involved with. After building the site for the first time we added a donation button on the site using squarespace. Could not have been easier and we love the instant notifications when someone gives to the center.

It was easy to learn how to use
It was easy to learn how to use. The help sections are easy to follow for someone that has never done anything like this before. Setting up my website with Squarespace made it look professional and beautiful at the same time.

No real customer service or tech support. Only online help thru tutorials. This puts you behind Wix.

Great except for 1 major issue
Generally, I like Squarespace. I use this developer for both of my businesses. The only thing that makes me not give a 5 star review is that I am unable to integrate one of websites to meta. This is a major inconvenience because as a E-Commerce entrepreneur, my customers like to interact and place orders through social media. It looks like other developers are able to do this and I really don't want to go through the hassle of designing a brand new website by switching over. Please fix this.

For the most part it went well - until it didn't.
For the most part it went well. Problem was when I tried to make some changes to some pages that I had set up using copies of similar pages - VERY non-intuitive process to fix it, but more to the point, there was no way to tell that the work I was doing was going to have negative consequences later... After all was done, I am happy with outcome - just wish it had better guidance as I went along. Full transparency - this was my first attempt at building a website - so from that perspective, at least it worked well enough that a total noob could get the job done.

A very viable option for your online store
Easy to use, problems are quickly resolved, and customer service is clear and concise. A store can be put up in an afternoon if you are motivated and the payment system has more flexibility and customizability than competitors with one notable exception.I would like to see a built-in option to customize payment capture. By default it captures automatically, but what-if you get a customer that messes with coupons somehow, or places an order in spite of previously being told never to order again because of a prior dispute? You have to eat the fees if you cancel. I prefer capture upon purchasing a label, or fulfillment. I know there's probably a way to do it when messing with code, but that's not the accessibility Squarespace is known for.Haven't had any major hiccups to date.

calender function to too complicated
the calender function has become so complicated, I'm looking for plug ins to get around squarespace or looking at Wix. I ended up using eventbrite.

Versatile but decoratively restrictive
Overall, Squarespace offers amazingly versatile and easy-to-use business features. It's easy to both create a website for fun and manage a whole e-commerce network from a central source. My main frustration is the control that the site maintains over design. It's difficult, and in many cases impossible, to manually change the color or font of a single item. Squarespace makes you learn their initially overwhelming "themes" system and then applies the palette/style to the entire website... often without letting you manipulate individual elements.Want to change the color of a button? Edit your entire site theme. Want to change the font size on your Products page? Rewrite the whole page's theme.I recommend Squarespace, but sometimes I miss Wix.
